Analysis of User's Needs for e-Media of Digital Product (디지털 제품 e매체를 위한 사용자 요구분석)

  • 디지털 제품 구매자는 일반적으로 온라인을 통하여 제품 웹사이트에서 제품의 특징이나 사용 후기를 충분히 보고 제품을 구입한다. 그리고 제품을 구입 후에 사용자는 온라인에서 제품의 매뉴얼을 통하여 익힌다. 이러한 과정에서 본 연구자는 사용자들의 온라인상에서 제품 구매 전, 후에서 문제점을 발견하고 확실히 어떠한 요구사항이 존재할 것이라는 의문을 가졌다. 따라서 다양한 일반인 연령대를 구성한 340명을 대상으로 디지털 제품의 전달 매체 사용에 대한 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문문항 내용에서 우선적 대안으로 예상한 것들은 '데스크탑 가상현실'과 '멀티미디어 동영상' 매체들이다. 그리고 사용자들이 이것들을 새로운 매체로서 가장 요구하는 사항일 것이라는 추측을 하고 현황을 파악한다. 최종적으로는 사용자가 요구하는 제품에서 매체의 기능과 만족도를 조사하고 개선점을 파악하며 문제점에 대한 해결 대안의 기초 자료로서 제시하고자 한다.

A study on user experience of Instagram IGTV -Focus on fashion·beauty contents service (인스타그램 IGTV의 사용자 경험 연구 -패션·뷰티 콘텐츠 서비스를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of the study is to investigate a usability of using fashion and beauty service and suggest better user experience on Instagram's newly released mobile video platform, IGTV. The study expects to be a resource of improving the usability on fashion and beauty contents on IGTV and encourage further research for suggesting better guidelines. As a research method, it will experiment current mobile video service first with literature review. Afterwards, the research conducted tasks and in-depth interview with eight Instagram users to evaluate a usability of using fashion and beauty service on IGTV. As a result, it is able to derive two plans that needed improvement. Firstly, IGTV is required to have high accessibility for user's to use service longer and intuitive user experience. Secondly, unlike previous service that Instagram have offered, IGTV need to differentiate to share and get information of fashion and beauty trends.

Design of Emergency Light - Focusing on Public Facilities (피난유도등 디자인 연구 -다중이용시설을 중심으로)

  • Based on the analysis of fire escape situations in public facility, this study was intended to propose a design of emergency light suitable for fire in public facility. A video analysis was conducted to understand the evacuation situation of public facility because the fire could not be randomized due to the disaster. Through video analysis, we were able to identify inconvenience and necessary needs in avoiding fire in public facility and reflected them in the design of emergency light, etc. As a result of the design of emergency light, the wall type induction lamp had different LED layout structures to minimize the thickness of the product. Ceiling induction lamps have been supplemented for additional installation in corridors of complex structures. The results of this study are designed based on the criteria used in the manufacture of actual emergency light and we intend to explore ways to be practical through further experiment measurements and complementary steps through expert advice.

A Study on Character Design through Successful Cases of OSMU in Early Childhood Educational Contents (유아 교육 콘텐츠에서 OSMU 성공사례를 통한 캐릭터 디자인 연구)

  • Reflecting the current craze for early childhood education, the demand for learning contents has soared, kids content is emerging as a key topic of the contents industry. The industry developing digital content for young learners is called the 'angel industry', it is attracting a lot of attention because of the increased demand for early childhood education. This paper selects characters used in successful digital products to study character design for OSMU children's educational contents. Through advanced research, analysis criteria were prepared and analyzed to derive general success strategies for character design. As a result, common design features in the analyzed characters were found and confirmed the need for further research. Hopefully, this study will contribute to OSMU character design and lead to improved development of educational contents and commercialization of various characters.

  • This study conducted an actual condition survey with users in order to examine the Graphic User Interface (GUI) design appearing in fast food Digital Information Display (DID). Selecting four restaurants with high sales in the hamburger industry in 2017, including Lotteria, McDonald's, Burger King, and Mom's Touch, based on this, this study investigated and analyzed GUI visual components appearing in DID, including layout, character, color, graphics, and videos based on this. As a result, this study could propose a design plan providing users with the layout that can be clearly and neatly divided, characters attracting attention with high readability, colors with high visibility, graphics attract interest, and videos with various contents, rather than a complex approach for efficient GUI design, analyzing the environmental factors of fast food restaurants.

  • 본 연구에서는 유니섹스 영 캐주얼웨어의 국내브랜드를 중심으로 고찰한 후 그 디자인 특성에 대해 살펴보고 한 시대의 패션현상을 규명하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 국내 패션시장의 유니섹스 영 캐주얼웨어에 대한 디자인 특성을 살펴보기 위해 신세대의 하위문화와 국내브랜드 시장조사를 통한 유니섹스 영 캐주얼웨어의 동향에 대한 일반적 고찰을 한 후 영 캐주얼웨어의 브랜드를 디자인의 차이에 따라 분류하고, 그 디자인 특성을 컬러, 소재, 스타일, 아이템별로 구분하여 분석하였다. '00 S/S, '00 F/W의 유니섹스 영 캐주얼웨어 브랜드를 중심으로 고찰해 보고자 패션 정보잡지와 인터넷의 패션사이트를 검색하였다. 유니섹스 영 캐주얼웨어의 브랜드별 시장조사를 통한 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 영상매체, 대중음악. 스포츠, 스타문화로 나타난 신세대의 하위문화는 탈중심성, 탈국경화, 의미의 해체 등의 포스트모던적 문화현상이며. 유니섹스 영 캐주얼웨어는 자유와 개성을 추구하는 신세대의 라이프 스타일을 잘 반영한 하위문화의 복식양식으로서 현대 패션에 영향을 미치고 있다. 2. 기성복업체는 신세대가 가지고 있는 새로운 욕구와 감성을 겨냥한 브랜드를 개발하고 판매촉진을 위해 전력을 다하는 과정에서 신세대의 하위문화를 반영한 유니섹스 영 캐주얼웨어의 일반적인 복식양식을 형성하였다. 3. 국내시장의 유니섹스 영 캐주얼웨어는 디자인 특성에 따라 컴포터블 캐주얼웨어, 스포츠 캐주얼웨어, 힙합 캐주얼웨어로 구분된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to select representative rivers of Busan's regional second-class rivers that, as urban rivers, have public open spaces, to identify their environmental characteristics, and thus to present environmental improvement measures for those rivers as natural rivers. First, 5 second-class rivers that have not been covered, and that flow through Busan cities were examined.

Simulator Development for LED Display Design (LED전광판 디자인을 위한 시뮬레이터 개발)

  • In this paper, an image based LED design simulator is proposed to reduce LED design cost mostly contingent on a design expert. Current techniques about LED design schemes have mostly treated text-based LED simulators. The proposed method is to provide novel and easy simulator for LED designers. At first, image filters including histogram equalization, bicubic interpolation. and scaling are employed. Color mapping and special effects are added as well. Experimental results classified into several categories along with running times are shown to validate the proposed methods.

  • Since the appearance of moving images, the expansion of mass media such as 1V or VCR has made the pace and range of spreading information to people faster and widely popular. Recendy, the development of digital image technique has resulted in solving the problem -great defect- of the display quality of analogue system; special effects by means of computer graphics have risen to a higher quality level; showed the new direction of digital image; and popular wi1h people all c:Ner the world. This paper reestablishes the notion of image up to now, and analyses the technical differences between analogue system and digital system on the basis of the SpecifIC property and skill of digital image editing; it also studies the special effects which can be applied to the image editing software. Moreover, in researdting 1V advertising, the special effects by digital system in use in 1his country today complies with the statistics in their own field. The special effects in 1V advertising is performed at a higher standard by a professional production. Accordingly, with the help of technology of digital moving image, the special effects are expected to continue developing into a level of high quality

  • This thesis is designed to investigate the relationship of Web Multimedia design. Web sites are needed to approach the lot of ways that increase the user intuitive lay over communicating information nowadays. In the digital era of today, multimedia is composed of such various elements as text, image, sound, animation, video. The method of the thesis is a research questions as this follow. First, the structuring element of the web site type was classified by a form and the contents in the web site. These types in this classified web site are HTML, flash and mixed type. Second, to study this thesis, we made up pose a questionnaire to students in the university as th method of random sampling. The goal of this survey is that user is how to understand about the web multimedia design. Results of analysis may be summarized as follows: 1) It was the image design in the NIKE web site that there would be evaluated the best design effected by flash, and it is finding that the NIDE web site will need more supporting Information, Interactive design through this studies. 2) It was information that there would be evaluated good design effect by text and image in SAMSUNG web site. Based on HTML, SAMSUNG need supporting motion image design by this studies. In conclusion, this thesis suggests that the each web medias should be constructed by the different web design component, according to information, Interactive, image design of web site.
