저궤도 관측위성용 구조 및 열 개발모델 추진시스템의 설계 및 해석

  • To guarantee the proper functions of a satellite in the extreme space environment, the several test models are developed generally. There are advantages that the design and the analysis of Flight Model(FM) can be validated through these test models, and the functional reliabilities can be increased by reflecting the modifications on the final design of FM. The integration and test of Structure & Thermal Model(STM) of KOMPSAT, being currently developed, have been completed. In this paper, the processes of design and analysis of the STM propulsion system, one of the KOMPSAT modules, are described.

  • Certain structural components are exposed to high temperatures. At high temperature, under thermal and mechanical loading, metal components exhibit both creep and plastic behavior. The unified constitutive theory is to model both the time-dependent behavior(creep) and the time-independent behavior(plasticity) in one set of equations. Microscopically both creep and plasticity are controlled by the motion of dislocations. A finite element method is presented encorporating a unified constitutive model for the transient analysis of viscoplastic behavior of structures exposed to high temperature.

  • 본 논문에서는 9 % Ni강 LNG 저장탱크 조사를 통해서 유한요소해석을 수행하여 구조건전성을 평가하였으며 실용에서 활용할 수 있는 자료를 제시하였다. 과거의 LNG 저장탱크의 설계는 2차원 선에서만 유한요소해석이 수행되었으나 보다 진보된 하드웨어와 소프트웨어의 발전으로 3차원 유한요소해석이 가능케 되었다. 본 연구에서는 9 % Ni 강 LNG 저장탱크 내조의 정적 구조 해석이 상용 유한 요소 해석 프로그램인 ABAQUS를 통해 수행되었다. LNG 저장 탱크 내조 시공 시 용접부 형상을 참고하여 용접부 모델을 고려한 해석을 각각 수행하였다. 용접부의 탄성계수의 변화를 통하여 최대응력과 최대변위를 계산하였다. 실제 LNG tank의 운용 시 발생하는 하중은 자중과, 수두 압과, 온도차에 의한 열응력이며 이들이 복합적으로 작용하였을 시, 용접선을 고려하지 않은 모델에 대해서는 최대응력이 207 MPa이며, 동일 조건에서 용접선을 포함한 모델에 대해 해석을 수행한 결과로서 최대응력이 그보다 약 100 MPa 정도 상승한 결과가 나타났다. 하중조건에서 온도차에 의한 열응력을 고려함과 고려하지 않음을 비교함으로서 실제 열응력에 대해서는 내조에 큰 영향을 미치지 않음을 확인하였다.

Coupled Thermal/Structural Analysis of Mechanical Ablation by Domain/Boundary Decomposition Method (영역/경계 분할법을 적용한 기계적 삭마 과정의 열구조 연계 해석)

  • A coupled thermal/structural analysis of mechanical ablation is performed based on domain/boundary decomposition and finite element method. The ablative material non-linearity and boundary non-linearity can be easily localized within a few subdomains and/or on the boundary interfaces. An enthalpy method is applied to simplify the effect of heat of pyrolysis in the ablative subdomains. In addition, maximum in-plane shear stress is considered as a surface recession criterion for the mechanical ablation simulation. The basic characteristics of the proposed method are examined carefully through numerical experiments.

Thermo-Mechanical Characteristics of a Plate Structure under Mechanical and Thermal Loading (외력과 열하중을 동시에 받는 판구조의 열-기계적 특성)

  • The thermo-mechanical analysis and test were performed for plate structure under mechanical and thermal loading conditions. Infrared heating system and hydraulic loading system were used to simulate mechanical and thermal environment for the plate structure which is similar to the fin of the airframe. Also, FEM analysis using plastic option was added to evaluate thermo-mechanical behavior. Thermo-mechanical tests were conducted at elevated temperature and rapid heating(10℃/sec) condition with external loading together. To investigate the effect of heating environment, the strength at room temperature was compared with that of elevated temperature and rapid heating condition. A methodology for test and analysis for supersonic vehicle subjected to aerodynamic loading and heating was generated through the study. These experimental and analysis results can be used for designing thermal resistance structures of the supersonic vehicle.

  • 본 논문에서는 칼리머 액체금속로의 노내 상부구조 하단부에 발생하는 열 스트라이핑을 해석할 수 있는 단순방법을 제안하였고 또한 인코넬 718 강으로 만든 라이너를 적용하여 노내 상부구조하부에 발생하는 열 스트라이핑 문제를 해소하거나 줄이기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 해석의 결과 현재 예비설계된 칼리머 노내 상부구조 하단부는 스트라이핑 하중으로부터 건전함을 예측할 수 있었다.

  • The objective of this research is to evaluate of global and local damage for steel-concrete composite structures under highway bridge exposed to fire loading. To enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the numerical analysis, the proposed transient nonlinear thermal structure interaction(TSI) parallel fire analysis method is implemented in ANSYS. To validate the TSI parallel fire analysis method, a comparison is made with the standard fire test results. The proposed TSI parallel fire analysis method is applied to fire damage analysis and performance evaluation for Buchen highway bridge. The result of analysis, temperature of low flange and web are exceed the critical temperature. The deflection and deformation state show good agreement with the fire accident of buchen highway bridge.

  • The objective of this research is to evaluate of fire damage for steel-concrete composite bridge superstructure and PSC bridge superstructure under highway bridge exposed to fire loading. To enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the numerical analysis, the proposed heat flow fire analysis method is implemented in ANSYS. The proposed heat flow analysis method is applied to fire damage analysis and performance evaluation for Buchen and Yangsan highway bridge. The result of analysis, temperature of concrete slab and lower flange of steel-concrete composite bridge superstructure are exceed the critical temperature. Also, temperature of slab, lower and upper flange, web of PSC bridge superstructure are exceed the critical temperature. However, the major component, tendon, did not exceed the critical temperature.

HAUSAT-2 STM(Structural-Thermal Model) Development and Launch Environment Test Result Analyses (HAUSAT-2 위성 STM 개발 및 발사환경시험 분석)

  • The HAUSAT-2 nanosatellite which is scheduled to launch in 2008 is being developed by SSRL(Space System Research Lab.). The HAUSAT-2 STM(Structural-Thermal Model) was developed as the first system model to verify structural and thermal design margin. The qualification level vibration and thermal tests have been conducted on STM. This paper addresses the comparison of structural analysis and test results of HAUSAT-2 STM. It was shown that the natural frequency of HAUSAT-2 STM satisfies the stiffness requirements without structural damage in the random vibration test. The assembly and integration validity were also checked out through STM.
