Finite Element Anmllysis of Adiabatic Shear Band (단열 전단 밴드의 유한요소 해석)

  • A stepped specimen which is subjected to step loading is modeled to study the initiation and growth of adiabatic shear band using explicit time integration finite element code. The material model for specimen includes effects of thermal softening, strain hardening and strain rate hardening. Various mesh sizes are tested to check whether they are small enough to model highly localized discontinuous phenomena reasonably well. It is shown that the number of adiabatic shear band depends on impact velocity and it is also shown that the initiation and growth of adiabatic shear band inversely depends on prescribed velocity at the top of specimen.

Effects of Fertilization Level on Growth and Yield of Aralia cordata Thunb (시비수준이 땅두릅의 생육과 수량에 미치는 영향)

  • The experiment was carried out to determine the optimum fertilization level showing high quality on Aralia cordata Thunb. Plant height of fertilization(27-15-27kg) was promoted significantly compared with conventional fertilization(17-9-17kg). This effect was followed with increment of blanched length. Among underground parts, main root length was increased in conventional fertilization, and more cultural year was prolonged, the more yield of dry root weight was increased. Fresh leaf yield to produce high quality of Aralia cordata plant was remarkably increased about 6% in fertilization of 27-15-27kg per 10a. As a result, to produce higher good quality of the plant. the optimum fertilization level was 27-15-27kg per 10a.

Shear Behavior Prediction of Reinforced Concrete Beams by Transformation Angle Truss Modul (변환각 트러스 모델에 의한 철근콘크리트 보의 전단거동 예측에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents on the shear behavior prediction of reinforced concrete beams using Transformation Angle Truss Model (TATM). The TATM can evaluate the stress-strain relationships for cracked concrete by transforming stresses and strains for principal plane into those over the crack surfaces. This proposed analytical method simplifies the Fixed Angle Softened Truss Model (FA-STM) and removes the limitation of applicability of the FA-STM. The shear.strength and strain of reinforced concrete beams are predicted by using the TATM. For the verification of proposed method, experimental results of reinforced concrete beams were compared with theoretical results by the TATM, FA-STM and Rotating Angle Softened Truss Model (RA-STM).

  • Localization of concrete is a phenomenon such that the deformation of concrete is localized in finite region with softening behavior and it governs ultimate load of concrete. In this Paper, concrete under strain localization was modeled with localization region and non-localization region and lc~calization behavior was formulated based on averaging concept of heterogeneous material. By using the formulation, the localization phenomena of concrete under uniaxial loadings were well predicted. The analytical results show that size of localization region of concrete under uniaxial compression is three times of maximum aggregate size and the size effect of concrete is well predicted. The use of tension-softening curve obtained from direct tension test is suitable for well prediction of localization of concrete under uniaxial tension.

Effect of Calcium-Added Cellulose Coatings on the Firmness of Plums (칼슘을 첨가한 셀롤로우스 코팅이 자두의 경도에 미치는 효과)

  • Plums (Prunus salicina L.) were coated with calcium-treated methylcellulose (CaMC) and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose-15 (CaHPMC-15). Respiration rate, weight loss, pH and titratable acidity, texture, and sensory characteristics were compared during 8-day storage period at $30^{\circ}C$. Weight loss and respiration rate of plums coated with CaMC and CaHPMC-15 were lower than those of control plums during storage while pH increased and titratable acidity slowly deceased during storage. Mechanical firmness was significantly deceased during storage, in which CaMC and CaHPMC-15-coated plums were harder than the control. Amount of soluble pectin, and pectin esterase and polygalacturonase activities as the markers of softening commonly increased with storage, but both CaMC and CaHPMC-15-coated plums were not found those increases. Sensory evaluation showed that the flesh softening of plums decreased during storage, and that in the coated plums exhibited the harder flesh. In conclusion, introduction of CaMC and CaHPMC-15 coatings on plums decreased respiration rate and contributed to delay of flesh softening, and the significant difference in postharvest storage quality of the both plums were not found between CaMC and CaHPMC-15 coatings.

  • This experiment was conducted to find out the effects of mushroom cultivation on ozone susceptibility. The mushroom media in cultivation became softening well without bad Knell when it was soaked for 120 hours. The mushroom media softening on cultivating of oyster mushroom was good and fast when the concentration of gas condition ozone is high. The concentration of gas condition ozone must control at less than 0.02 ppm at the innoculation room, 0.03 ppm at the incubating room, must not use at the sprouting mom, less than 0.02 ppm at the growing room respectively. Also at the growing room, it removes the smell of mushroom, so has a protective effects of coming into mushroom fees and disease. When the concentration of 0.02 ppm liquid condition ozone was sprinkled, it was very useful in disease protection If it was input, the storage period of mushroom fruiting body was prolonged.

  • In this study, effects of the reaction pressure were studied for petroleum-based pitch synthesis. A two-stage reaction process was performed based on different reaction pressure conditions. Each stage experiments for the two-stage reaction were consecutively carried out. The first stage was consisted of three different pressure conditions; high (10 bar), normal and low (0.1 bar). And the second stage was carried out at the normal and low (0.1 bar) pressure. The pitch synthesis was realized at $400^{\circ}C$ for 2 h. Thermal properties and molecular weight distributions of each samples were investigated by analyzing the softening point and MALDI-TOF data. Volatilized components during the pith synthesis were measured by GC-SIMDIS. In case of the first-step reaction with the high pressure condition, the low molecular weight component participated to the pitch formation more effectively and the pitch with the low softening point was obtained. However, for the case of the first-step with the low pressure, the low molecular weight component was vent outside and the partial coke formation occurred. Eventually, pitch properties such as the softening point and yield were controlled effectively by changing the pressure in the pitch synthesis reaction.

  • 고사리(Pteridium aquilinum)는 봄철에 어린싹을 삶아 물에 담구었다가 먹거나 건조시켜 저장해서 이용하는데 현재 유통되고 있는 건고사리는 수확, 건조 및 저장 중에 비위생적인 관리 둥에 의해 미생물의 중식 및 해충의 발생 등으로 품질이 크게 저하되어 저장상 많은 어려움을 안고 있다. 살균, 살충을 위한 방사선의 식품에의 이용은 그 건전성과 경제적 타당성이 인정되어 여러나라에서 실용화 되고 있다. 방사선 조사된 건고사리는 선행연구에서 재수화성이 증대되었고, 조리에 의한 연화시간이 단축되어 에너지 절감의 효과가 있었다.   • 본 논문에서는 동적인 환경에서 동작하는 에이전트들을 위한 범용의 에이전트 구조에 대해 설명한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 CM 는 에이전트의 모든 부분을 하나의 객체 지향 언어로 구현할 수 있는 순수 Java 기반의 범용 에이전트 구조이며, 긴 수행시간을 필요로 하는 복잡한 행위들을 효과적으로 표현하고 수행할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다. 이를 위해 환경 연화에 따라 수행 중이던 행위를 즉각적으로 중단하거나 다른 행위로 전환할 수 있는 높은 정황 -민감성을 제공한다. 또 CAA는 상황에 따른 가변적인 목표를 암시하는 행동 모드를 내부에 저장, 관리함으로써 BDI 구조와 유사한 목표- 지향성을 가진다.
