This paper proposes a soft switching boost converter with an auxiliary circuit. This circuit helps a main switch operate as a soft switching. The main switch operates ZVS turn-on and ZVS turn-off. And the auxiliary switch operates ZCS turn-on and ZVS turn-off. In this paper, operation modes are analyzed and soft switching operation is verified through simulations.

A zero voltage switching (ZVS) three level auxiliary resonant commutated pole inverter (ARCPI) is presented for high power GTO inverters. The concept of ARCP for two level inverter is extended to the three inverter. The proposed auxiliary commutation circuit consists of one resonant inductor and two bi-directional switches, which provides ZVS condition to the main devices without increasing device voltage or current stresses. The auxiliary device operates with zero current switching (ZCS) which enables use of the low cost thyristors. The proposed ARCPI can handle higher voltage and higher power (1-10MVA) comparing to the two level one. Operation and analysis of the ARCPI are illustrated and the features are compared o those of the snubber circuit incorporated three level inverter. Experimental results with 10kW, 4kHz prototype are presented to verify the principle of operation. (author). refs., figs., tab.

This paper analyzed PFC of active clamp ZVS flybark converter by adding two method PFC (Power Factor Correction) circuit-two-stage and single-stage. The addition of active clamp circuit also provide a mechanism fur achieving ZVS of both the primary and auxiliary switches. ZVS also limits the turn off di/dt of the output rectifier, reducing rectifier switching loss and switching noise, due to diode reverse recovery. As a results, the proposed converters have characteristics of the reduced switching noise and high efficiency in comparison to conventional flyback converter. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed converters improve the input PF of 300[W] ZVS flyback converter by adding single-stage two-stage PFC circuit.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical effectiveness and prophylactic treatment effectiveness of Gagam-Bopyeyangyeongjeon(GGBYJ) on the Lung Weakness Children(肺系虛弱兒) who catch cold easily. Methods The study has been carried out from 27 children, who were treated with GGBYJ in Department of Pediatrics, $\bigcirc\bigcirc$ Oriental Medical Hospital from August to December in 2009. The study was completed through patient chart review and telephone survey. Results 1. Immediately after the treatment, there was significantly decreasing(p=0.005) on respiratory symptoms in the Lung Weakness Children(肺系虛弱兒) who catch cold easily. 2. After the treatment, when season changes (three months later), there were preventive and continuous effects on reducing morbidity and on decreasing degree of symptoms against new respiratory infections compared to the previous year before taking medicine. 3. GGBYJ improved the respiratory symptoms, and also anorexia, constipation, heights, skin and fatigue. Conclusions In conclusion, there were significant clinical and preventive effectiveness of GGBYJ for the Lung Weakness Children(肺系虛弱兒) who caught a cold easily. Further studies are needed with more clinical cases.

In this paper, a LC series resonant boost converter using a single switch is proposed. The proposed topology contains additional passive elements in the conventional boost converter and performs Zero Voltage Switching(ZVS) without an additional auxiliary switch when a main switch turned on and off. The switch off time of the proposed system determined by LC series resonance, thus a on-time variable Pulse Frequency Modulation(PFM) method is adapted to control output voltage in the proposed converter. Operational modes of the proposed topology are divided with respected to the current conduction paths and then through the theoretical analysis and experimental results, operational modes and characteristics of the proposed converter are verified.

This paper is a study about a proper method of plasma generation to cleaning method and a high frequency power equipment circuit to generation of plasma that used cleaning of chamber for TFT-LCD PECVD. The high density plasma required for cleaning causes a possibility of high density plasma more than $1{\times}10^{11}[EA/cm^3]$. It apply a ferrite core of ferromagnetic body to a existing ICP form. In case of power transfer equipment on 400[kHz] high frequency to generation of plasma it makes certain a stable switching operation in condition of plasma through using a inverter form for general purpose HB. And it demonstrates the performance of power transfer equipment using methods of measurement which use a transformer of series combination the density of plasma and the rate of dissolution of $NF_3$ in condition of $A_r\;and\;NF_3$.

The oracle of the I Ching, divination can be understood as 'synchronicity phenomenon' in analytic psychology. In order to experience divination actually, it requires a religious attitude that asks questions with a serious mind when a person is in trouble that consciousness reaches its limit. It is not just a passive attitude, but a modest, active attitude to ask what I can do now. The experience of the oracle of the I Ching connected to supra-consciousness is similar to 'active imagination'-talking with the archetype of collective unconsciousness-and is 'the process of finding the rhythm of Self-archetype, the absolute wisdom of unconsciousness.' One month before my father's death, I took care of him who couldn't communicate verbally and I divination with a question 'What can I do for my father and me now?' The I Ching's answer was hexagram 19 Lin 臨, nine at the beginning. It's message was '咸臨貞吉 joint approach. perseverance brings good fortune.' 志行正也 we must adhere perseveringly to what is right.' Through this phrase, I learned the attitude of waiting for life after death as if 'joyful obedient' to the providence of nature that spring comes after winter. And I found that keeping the touching emotion of meeting infinity (in analytical psychological terms, 'Self') with perseveration is to do the true meaning of life beyond popular money-mindedness. And six months before my father's death, I had a dream about the afterlife. In the process of interpreting that dream, I learned not only from the shock of the direct message that 'it is a truth that there is something after death,' but also the regeneration of the mind through introversion from the similarity between the closed ward and '黃泉'-chinese underworld through amplification. And I learned the importance of an open attitude to accept new things through the 'window to eternity' symbolized by the white iron gate. In my father's catholic funeral ritual, I had hope that the catholic doctrine 'Communio Sanctorum'-A spiral cycle in which the living and the dead help each other may be real as well as a symbol of the individuation process in which consciousness and unconsciousness interact in our minds. Through the consolation received through the funeral visit of many people I met in my life, I found the answer that the path to contact with infinity begins with loving the beings in front of me. I tried to understand this continuous experience by the perspective of analytical psychology.
