연속주조 공정의 열적모델 및 해석

  • 연속주조공정에서 주형과 2차냉각 영역에서의 주편의 응고과정에 관한 열전달 문제를 다루는데 해석적 및 수치적방법의 기본 원리와 그 결과를 간단히 소개하였다. 연속주조공정중 상황변화가 일어나는 주형과 2차냉각대에서 온도제어를 효율적으로 수행하기 위하여 주조온도, 강종, 주조 속도, 냉각수량 등 운전 인자에 따른 주편온도분포 및 응고층두께를 이론적으로 구하는 방법만을 취급하였지만, 실제로는 주편온도 및 응고층 두께를 측정하는 실험적 방법이 상호보완적으로 이루어져야 향후제품결함이 적고, 높은 생산성을 꾀할 수 있는 신 연주기의 개발이 가능할 것이 다.

  • 박판연속주조법은 용강으로부터 직접 제품을 제조하는 방법으로써 최근 에너지 절약, 신소재개발의 측면에서 주목되어지고 있다. 쌍로울식 연속주조법은 두개의 로울러 사이 에 있어서 응고완료점의 제어가 극히 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 경제고정법에 의하여 액 상역과 고상역을 동시에 해석하는 방법을 제안하여 이론해석의 결과를 실험결과와 비교 한다. 또한 주조조건에 영향을 미치는 로울러 각속도, 로울러간의 간격이 응고형상에 미치는 영향을 밝히며 응고완료점이 로울러출구에 존재하는 주조조건을 구하여 주조가능 조건을 검토한다.

THE NUTATION DAMPING CONTROL OF A SPACECRAFT (인공위성의 미동현상 제어에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, the Variable Structure System(VSS) theory with new continuous switching dynamic equation is used to design an automatic controller for the active nutation damping in momentum bias stabilized spacecraft. In the application of VSS theory to a linearized multivariable system with the nutation damping systems, there exist some disadvantages such as how to determine the switching gains and how to reduce the chattering phenomina and reaching phase in input and state trajectories. To solve these drawbacks, this paper presents the continuous switching dynamic equation instead of the discontinuous switching logics to obtain the sliding mode. The new design approach is much simpler than the VSS theory. And there do not exist chattering phenomina in this method because the obtained control inputs are continuous. Simultaneously the reaching phase is reduced by a suitable choice of design factor.

Study on Temperature Control and Optimal Design for Continuous Sterilizer (연속 살균기의 온도제어 및 최적설계에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we analyzed the problems of a batch-type sterilizer and design a continuous sterilizer to control the temperature deviation. The temperature deviation is analyzed with respect to design parameters such as a nozzle diameter, hole diameter, and nozzle length. The significant temperature parameters are optimized using the response surface methodology. An experimental apparatus is developed using the optimized design parameters. Using a field test, we show that the target temperature is obtained in about 7.3 minutes and the temperature deviation is improved about $0.84^{\circ}C$. The optimized parameters from the test are equal to the analytical parameters.

  • 일반적으로 자연하천에서의 유량측정은 현장의 접근성 및 측정자의 작업숙련도 등의 문제로 인하여 측정자료의 신뢰도 저하는 물론, 강우관측이나 수위관측과 같이 연속적으로 유량자료를 확보하기에는 기술적, 경제적으로 매우 어려운 실정이다. 현재 실무에서는 연속적인 유량자료를 확보하기위해 하천수위와 관계로부터 수위-유량관계곡선(Rating Curve)을 작성한 후, 연속적으로 관측된 수위로부터 유량을 환산하여 유량자료를 생산하고 있다. 그러나 우리나라는 년강수량의 2/3가 홍수기인 $6{\sim}9$월 사이에 집중되는 반면, 갈수기인 10월에서 그 다음해인 3월까지는 년강수량의 1/5에 불과함에 따라 하천유황의 계절적 변동성이 심하게 발생하며, 이로 인해 홍수기를 전 후로 지속적인 하상변동이 발생하여 수위-유량관계를 크게 왜곡시키고 있다. 특히 본 연구의 대상유역인 금강수계 상 하류 5개 지점에서는 년유출량의 상대오차가 10%이하인 경우가 11%에 불과하여 왜곡된 수위-유량관계로부터 산정된 유량자료의 신뢰도는 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기 개발된 유역유출예측시스템(RRFS)의 실제 적용성을 평가하고 확장 보완하기 위해, 하천 본류의 제어지점(Control Point) 및 소유역 출구지점의 유량자료에 대한 신뢰도를 평가함은 물론, RRFS 주요제어지점에 대한 유출특성을 파악하고자 한다.

  • This paper describes design and implementation results of a fuzzy logic speed controller of EV(Electric vehicle)'s induction motor for the purpose of realizing comfortable driving. The fuzzy controller is suitable for speed control of EV since that without detailed knowledge about the induction motor, it is easier to design a well-performing speed control system with good stability. PWM wave for driving the induction motor is generated by space vector modulation method and all the control algorithms are realized digitally. The results of experiment show excellence of the proposed system and that the proposed system is appropriate to control the speed of induction motor for commercial EVs.

Design of Deadbeat Controller for DC Motor Driving a Rotational Mechanical System (회전기계 계통을 가동시키는 직류전동기를 위한 데드비트제어기 설계)

  • This paper presents a design method of deadbeat controller for DC motor driving a rotational system with gear. The deadbeat-response design developed for control system of a sampled continuous-data process does not guarantee zero intersampling ripples, but the proposed deadbeat control system that consists of the integral controller and the full-order state observer, and zero-order hold using in continuous systems, has many advantages such as an output response without the ripples and reaching the steady state without error after a given sampling period and faster settling time than the optimal control system in the same sampling period. The results of a case study through matlab simulation are shown that the efficiency of the proposed controller for DC motor driving a rotational system with gear is verified by comparing with optimal controller etc.

  • Due to the asymptotic Property, deadbeat control can hardly be applied to the continuous time system control. But some delay element method can deal such a problem. Besides delay element nan well-known digital deadbeat control can be used by the aid of some smoothing elements. in this paper, 2nd order smoothing element is used for the smoothing or the digital deadbeat controller. And this element is argumented to the plant and so control problem is to control digitally the argumented system. We simulated this control system using Matlab language and finally apply this algorithm to the rotary inverted pendulum system.

  • A marine propeller is designed for preventing cavitation priority. Cavitation is a phenomenon which is defined as the vibration or noise by dropping the pressure on the high-speed rotation of the propeller. There has to be a enough thrust on the low-speed rotation for preventing cavitation. Thus, it has to be considered in the increasing of the number of blade and the angle of wing to design the propeller. In addition, flow resistance will be increasing by narrowing the width between blades. So high quality surface roughness of the hub to minimize flow resistance is required. Interference problems with tool and neighboring surfaces often take place from this kind of characteristics of the propeller. During 5-Axis machining of these propellers, the excessive local interference avoidance, necessary to avoid interference, leads to inconsistency of cutter posture, low quality of machined surface. Therefore, in order to increase the surface quality, it is necessary to minimize the cutter posture changes and create a continuous tool path while avoiding interference. This study, by using a MC-space algorithm for interference avoidance and a MB-spline algorithm for continuous control, is intended to create a 5-Axis machining tool path with excellent surface quality. Also, an effectiveness is confirmed through a verification manufacturing.

A Continuous Sliding Surface Transformed VSS by Saturation Function for MIMO Uncertain Linear Plants (다입출력 불확실 선형 플랜트를 위한 포화함수에 의한 연속 슬라이딩 면 변환 가변구조시스템)

  • In this note, a continuous sliding surface transformed variable structure systems by the saturation function is presented for MIMO uncertain linear plants. A discontinuous sliding surface transformed VSS is proposed theoretically. The closed loop exponential stability together with the MIMO existence condition of the sliding mode on the predetermined sliding surface is investigated. For practical applications, a continuous approximation of the discontinuous VSS is made by means of the saturation function. The discontinuity of the control input as the inherent property of the VSS is much improved in view of the practical aspects. Through a design example and simulation studies, the usefulness of the proposed continuous transformed VSS controller is verified.
