Rating system, which generated by struggling and negotiating of many social groups, helps us to anyalyze plenty of social factors. With this point of view this article attempts to examine the game rating system of Iran, that started in 2009. At the beginning, the nubmber and ratio of prohibited games were very high. Most prohibited games have contents of violence with religious distortion or women's nudity. But recently the case of prohibition is not seen and the ratio of age rate is changed to that of other countries. The system and operation of ESRA is influenced by multiple factors like the willingness to support game industry of government, the understanding of industrial value, the acknowledgement of cultural effect of game and etc.

영상물의 연령등급을 심의하는 영상물등급위원회(영등위)에 온라인게임이 연신 두들겨 맞고 있다. 관련업계는‘중세 마녀 재판이 재현되고 있다’고 강하게 비판하고 있고, 영등위는‘청소년보호’를 대의명분으로 내세우며 눈도 깜짝 안하고 있다. 대표적인‘메이드 인 코리아’상품으로 우뚝서야 할 때 빨간불이 켜진 것이다. 영등위 파문과 관련된 양측의 의견을 들어 보고, 온라인게임 등급분류제도의 문제점은 없는지 짚어봤다.

Life table-related studies in insect ecology have been an interesting topic for insect researchers. Two calculation methods are commonly applied to estimate the intrinsic rate of natural increase (r_m) in the life table statistics. The first method is to estimate an approximate r_m by dividing the natural logarithm of the net reproductive rate (R₀) by mean generation time (T) (namely mean generation time-based method). Another approach is to apply the Lotka-Euler equation derived from the population growth equation of Lotka-Volterra to estimate accurate r_m using the maximum likelihood method (Lotka-Euler equation-based method). In the latter case, there is a difference in the estimated r_m value when the initial age class of the target cohort was set to "0" or "1", which confused the application. In this short review, a brief history of the calculation process of the life table was reviewed. It was again confirmed in the Lotka-Euler equation-based method that the form of $\sum\limits_{x=1}^{w}e^{-rx}l_xm_x=1$ should be applied to estimate r_m when the first age class was set to zero, while the form of $\sum\limits_{x=0}^{w}e^{-r(x+1)}l_xm_x=1$ when set to one.

웹 상에서 제공되는 영화 서비스는 사용자에게 시간과 공간을 초월하여 서비스를 받을 수 있다는 매력을 가지고 있다. 이러한 영화 서비스는 대부분 동영상 전체 내용에 대해 사용자 연령별로 등급을 나누어 서비스되거나 무차별 서비스가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 비디오 인덱싱 기술과 필터링 기법을 접목하여 하나의 동영상을 각 장면의 내용에 따라 사용자 연령별 차별화 된 서비스를 함으로써 영화 동영상에 대한 활용도를 높일 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다.

This study was conducted to investigate forest ecosystem assessment which were widely used in Germany and Austria. The study area, Mt. Teawha, is located at Kwangju, Kyunggi-Do province. The methodology of this study considered the following factors. First forest types were classified accoding to species composition and age of tree layer. Naturalness, diversity and rerenees of each forest type were classified into 5 level. Finally, the forest types were assessed by synthesizing those 3 factors. Qurecus mongolica- and valley forest type over 300m was classified as naturalness 4 and Qurecus accustima, Quercus accusitima and Q. variabilis were as naturalness 3. The plantation types on the lower slope showed the level of naturlness 1 or 2. Diversity was similer to naturalness. But indices were different from each other. In the case of Larix leptolepsis plantations, naturalness indicated 1, while diversity showed 3. The valley forest type, wet forest and forest edge were classified into rare forest type. It was concluded that this method could be more efficient method comparing with existing method for assessment of naturality and thereby could contribute for biodiversity conservation in Korea.

The aim of the study was to explore the effects of parental media mediation types on adolescents' perception of the usefulness of the broadcasting rating system. A total of 520 middle school students participated in the survey. Results showed a higher utility of 'autonomy-supportive restriction' strategy by the parents led to more positive perception of the usefulness of the rating system. This study argues that parents need to pursue a mediation strategy in which a rationale for prohibiting media contents use should be provided and in which the perspective of the adolescent is taken seriously.

The purpose of this study is to analyze factors affecting a grade maintenance of the non-graded group by LTCI(Long-Term Care Insurance, NHIS). The predictors were examined grade maintenance of the non-graded group(non-grade of A, B, C). The results were as follows: this study found that predisposing factors of the grade maintenance of non-graded of LTCI were significantly related to age, sex, death. Enabling factors of the grade maintenance of non-graded of LTCI were significantly related to household state, income level. Need factors of the grade maintenance of non-graded of LTCI were significantly related to dementia, grade of first grading, retry of applying for long-term care assessment. Based on the finding of study, implications and future research directions were discussed for policy considerations.

This study the awareness and the demands of the parents on the communication level for social participation of the youth with developmental disability were identified and investigated the relation on client's age, detection time of the condition, disability grades, handicapped types, speech therapy period. For the non-parametric test, Man-Whitney U test, and Kruskal-Wallis test were performed and for post-hoc test, Scheffe test was performed. The results of this study was that the significant difference was found in the awareness and the demand of the communication level of the youth with developmental disability according to the age of children, time of discovery, disability grade, type of disability and speech therapy period. In conclusion, the speech therapy for the youth with developmental disability should be made in the dimension of communication for the purpose of social participation. The follow-up research to emphasize the social support and the institutional backup will be required.

This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between the socio-demographic factors and the Korean consumers palatability evaluation grades with Hanwoo sensory evaluation data from 2006 to 2008 by National Institute of Animal Science. The dichotomy logistic regression model and the multinomial logistic regression model are fitted with the independent variables such as the consumer living location, age, gender occupation, monthly income, beef cut and the the palatability grade as the categorical dependent variable and tenderness, 리avor and juiciness as the continuous dependent variable. Stepwise variable selection procedure is incorporated to find the final model and odds ratios are calculated to nd the associations between categories.

The circulation of unwholesome information such as obscene and violent information is gradually increasing based on the rapid expansion of information communications infrastructure. Those kinds of information are harmful to the adolescents and even cause social problems so that active countermeasure is requited. In order to cope with the spread of unwholesome information, appropriate regulating methods are absolutely in need by establishing or revising information communications-related laws. In this paper, we had analyzed domestic and foreign programs with existing harmful information blocking method, and then designed and implemented a selective blocking program based on Platform for Internet Contents Selection(PICS) by using selective blocking technology based on Internet contents rating system. We also proposed a compromised rating system blocking method that consists of selective filtering function by age and the popular blocking list. The proposed system has advantages in that there would be no increase in network load resulting from blocking list update and inquiry, it is possible to perform active selective filtering considering user's age, and it may introduce self-imposed rating.
