Design of DICOM Standard Interface Module for Medical Image Standardization (의료영상 표준화를 위한 DICOM 표준 인터페이스 모듈 설계)

  • PACS(Picture Archiving Communication System)를 바탕으로 하는 DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine)은 주요 의료영상장비들 사이에 데이터와 영상을 효율적으로 교환하고 전송할 수 있도록 마련한 표준안으로 현재 대부분의 최신형 의료영상장비(CT, MR, DSA, CR(Computed Radiology), 초음파검사, 핵의학검사, 내시경검사, 조직병리검사, 등)들은 의료 영상 분야의 국제 표준인 DICOM 표준방식에 의해 영상을 제공하고 있다. 최근 이러한 의료영상장비들은 독립적으로 사용하기보다는 의료수술 모니터링 장비 등의 비 의학영상장비와 서로 연계하여 사용하는 경우가 많아졌다. 그러나 이러한 의료수술 모니터링 장비들은 DICOM 표준 데이터를 고려하지 못하므로 PACS를 통한 데이터 연계에 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 표준 DICOM 포맷과 의료수술 모니터링 장비의 데이터 구조를 분석하여 non-DICOM 의료수술 모니터링 장비의 PACS 연동을 위한 방안을 제안하였다.

  • This thesis describes the effective interfacing methods of PACS Modality based on the system installation and operating experiences. PACS(Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) is a system for medical image archiving and communication using large storage device and high-speed network. The standard communication protocol of PACS is DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) based on TCP/IP and point-to-point protocol. However, there are many Non-DICOM Modalities and DICOM Modalities having problems. First, we had interfaced almost modalities, Fuji CR, GE CT, MRI, Angio, Fluoro, Phillips Angio, Shimadzu Fluoro, Ultrasound PACS, with the main PACS in the Seoul S Hospital as large scale hospital. And we manipulated the intelligent image distribution and the CT, MRI Interfaces never experienced before in the Anyang J Hospital and the Chungju C Hospital as mid or small scale hospital. Technically, we developed both the DICOM Interface and the Non-DICOM Interface. At the last, the DICOM Worklist and the DICOM Print Interface were implemented in the Seoul B Hospital, the Bucheon SJ Hospital and the Seoul K Hospital independently with PACS. The Oracle, Sybase and MS-SQL are used as database, and UNIX, Macintosh, MS Windows as operating systems. And the Visual C++ and UNIX C are the main programming tools. We have used UTP, coaxial and fiber optic Gable under 10/100 mbps LAN for networking.

  • In this paper, we present the functional architecture for the traffic engineering capable policy based network management system. In this paper, we also examine the traditional approach to network management, contrast it with the policy based approach. The architecture includes the traffic engineering facilities, especially MPLS traffic engineering functions, to provide maximum network resource utilization. The policy server should communicate with the traffic engineering server and network manager to enforce the network policy efficiently. The interfaces and interworking methods are described in this paper.

  • Recently, IT-based environment is changing rapidly as changing in web services platform, evolution of cloud computing environments and expanding the base of a smart market. Accordingly, monitoring development of environment is changing quickly. So a customizable SaaS-based monitoring tool is required to provide monitoring services. It has to support a variety of environmental monitoring and a resource managers with requested information, and by an enhanced monitoring framework in clouding environment of management system. In this paper, the 3D viewer for the management of sensor node management system was designed and built. Through the 3D viewer by enhancing the accessibility and visibility, the sensor network will allow resources to be used efficiently.

  • This paper describes development and performance test of signal processor for the millimeter wave seeker. A ground to air guidance missile is required various beam patterns in order to counteract different kind of target. Therefore, we designed the hardware and software architecture considering flexibility. This signal processor consists of ADC, FPGA, DSP and etc. FPGA provides peripheral interface to DSP and convert digital IF signal to baseband signal. DSP performs signal processing, calculates target's information and controls devices. Each parts' hardware are connected in series and signal processing algorithms for various beam patterns are built in parallel.

  • Recently, Internet solution market is focused on competition in Electronic Commerce (EC) rather than necessity and effectiveness of EC. In this paper, we propose a policy-oriented matching agent system that makes EC market active. We can pursue diverse promotion since policies are objects, and we can formulate, carry out, pursue, and evaluated a policy consistently on the proposed solution since our solution is integrated into merits of rule-based system and operation space (release post).   • Currently, the needs of open standard and integrated network, and also applications of Ethernet network based system are increasing. By applying and expanding TCP/IP based network technology from high to low control level, factory automation application has been implemented, and thus integrated factory automation system has been accomplished, which is directly interoperable between high level management program and DB system. This paper proposes a communication control device which is based on Ethernet/IP standard system for factory automation. The proposed system is workable in the environment of a network system, which is based on CIP standard interface technology. The proposed system can also contribute to improve data communication characteristics.

  • In this paper. the design and implementationof the on-line registration system for the school affairs is described. The environments for the system configurations include a PC server under Linux Iperating System. Apache Web-server, and MySQL as database engine. In addition, PHP, which becomes a popular Internet server-based script language lately, is used to implement a real-time database. In order to avoid overload problems during short-term registration period, which deconstraces the typical surge of traffics, the proposed system is designed to minimize the unnecessary interfacing tasks. On administrator side task, the sytem is designed to have environments by separating the dechcated server that restricts the scope of specific database thasks. In doing so, it become possibal to build an optical system by distributing, balancing the transaction load, maintainimg the security and efficient administrative tasks.

  • 근래 들어 무선 인터넷이 가능한 고성능의 휴대형 단말들이 널리 보급되어 감에 따라, 모바일 기업 응용에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 모바일 기업 응용에서는 모바일 클라이언트와 기업 서버간의 데이터 동기화가 필수적이다. 왜냐하면, 모바일 클라이언트는 그 특성상 기업 서버에 항상 접속해 있을 수 없기 때문이다. 하지만 이러한 모바일 기업 응용을 작성하기 위해서는 확장성 이형성, 자원제약, 보안등과 같은 여러 기술적인 문제들을 해결해야만 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 기술적인 문제들 뿐만 아니라 데이터 동기화 부분을 처리해 줌으로써 응용 개발자들에게 오직 데이터 동기화를 위한 추상화된 인터페이스만을 제공해주는 데이터 동기화 미들웨어 시스템인 MoIM-Sync 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관해 기술한다. 우리 시스템은 구현 언어로 Java를, 동기화 프로토콜로 표준 동기화 프로토콜인 SyncML을 사용함으로써 이형성 문제를 극복하였으며, 3 계층 구조를 통해 확장성 및 기존 동기화 시스템/서버 시스템들과의 연동 문제를 해결하였다.

  • In this paper, we implemented LED beam forming communication system controlled by stepping motor. ATMega1284 was used as a MCU of main control board which has two main external IO, one is RS232 for connection with PC, the other is PORT for connection with motor driving board. Stepping motor rotated 360 degree when provided 160 clock and its rotation radius was increased by Archimedian Spiral. So LED can provide its light anywhere in the space and its beam forming was controlled by PC connected with RS232 of main control board. The action of beam forming was verified via actual HW/SW implementation.
