In this study, a short-term activity program during vacation mainly consisted of creative drama and mindfulness was held in order to increase elementary school students' positive psychology and its effects were verified. Effects of the program were verified by means of quantitative and qualitative analysis and the results were as follows; First, most students participated in this program because their parents wanted them to instead of them wanting it voluntarily. Second, it was appeared that their self-esteem and happiness level increased significantly and their stress and depression level decreased after participating in the program. Third, approximately 65~70% students stated that it was fun, helpful, educative, and would like to recommend to other friends. Also, they reported on the perception of positive emotions and acquisition of empirical knowledge. Based on these results, implications and suggestions were discussed in this study.

With the development of artificial intelligence, a wave of the 4th industrial revolution is taking place around the world. With the technologies such as big data and Internet of Things-based artificial intelligence, we are heading to a hyper-connected society where everything converges into one. Accordingly as educational talents in the era of artificial intelligence, we are pursuing the cultivation of creative convergence-type talents and emotional creative talents. With human creativity and emotion at the center, we should be able to collaborate with artificial intelligence and create new things by converging knowledge in various fields. By developing a program that combines humanities-oriented Korean language with engineering-oriented artificial intelligence, this research attempted to help students experience solving problems creatively by combining humanistic knowledge with engineering thinking skills. The educational program consists of two kinds of contents(i.e., "Books with AI" and "A Play with AI") and 15 classes that provide students with opportunities to solve humanities problems with artificial intelligence.

This study examines popular entertainers' professionalism with division of genres and cast portions. While genres can be divided into TV drama and variety show, cast portion into leading, supporting, and minor role. Entertainers' thought is categorized into their professional consciousness and their program awareness. By this division and categorization, this study grasps concretely how genres and cast portions affect entertainers' ideas. We conducted a survey on one hundred entertainers in TV dramas and variety shows and have analyzed data by using n-way ANOVA. This study also conducted in-depth interview as a research method by which we intended to enhance validity of the result. The results provide that genres and cast portions affected on entertainers' professional consciousness and their program awareness. In terms of professional consciousness, significant result was drawn on thoughts of discrimination, community, vocation, and satisfaction. In terms of their program awareness, affection, accountability, ownership, and anxiety consciousness were significant. With this result, this study provides implications both theoretical aspect and practical aspect. On theoretical aspect, this study broadens celebrity studies beyond star studies, and attempts to categorize entertainers theoretically. On practical aspect, it provides reconsideration on broadcasting condition, and suggests solving the problem of gap among entertainers.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to develop and examine the effects an of educational drama program for promoting a sense of community on young children's community life skills. Methods: The program organized activities to achieve a sense of community. Community life skill, a behavioral skill that is the basis for developing a sense of community, was naturally reflected in the activities. The program was designed to run a total of 15 sessions twice a week for 60 minutes each time. The participants were five-year-olds, 27 in the experimental group and 26 in the control group. In order to examine the effects of the program, a sense of community and community life skills were measured and the data were analyzed with T-test. Results: The results are summarized as follows: first, the program had positive effects on emotional consciousness and mutual public consciousness of sense of community; second, community life skills were improved through this program. Conclusion/Implications: Based on these results, the effectiveness of the educational drama program for promoting young children's sense of community and the ways to promote children's sense of community in early childhood education institutes were discussed.

This study was to investigate the effect of career decision-making self-efficacy and social support of university students majoring dance on career preparation behavior. For the study, 300 students from universities in capital area were selected to measure their career decision-making self-efficacy, social support and career preparation behavior. Correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis have been conducted to analyze research question using SPSS Ver. 24.0. The conclusion from results and discussion are as follows. First, there were positive relationships between career decision-making self-efficacy and social support and career preparation behavior. Second, career decision-making self-efficacy influenced career preparation behavior. Third, appraisal support a sub-factors of social support effected on career preparation behavior but emotional support, material support and informational support did not effect on career preparation behavior. Forth, career decision-making self-efficacy effected more than social support on career preparation behavior. Shortly, this study explored that career decision-making self-efficacy influenced career preparation behavior.

During the Japanese colonial era, traditional music performances were gradually diminishing and weakening in the particular condition of colonization. Meanwhile, from the time of enlightenment, Western genre performances were becoming vitalized with the influence of Western civilization that began to be spread steadily throughout the society. In that situation, traditional music performances tended to be mixed performances accompanied by Western ones, not independent performances. Mostly, they were accompanied by Western music, and also, they were performed along with other genres like plays, lectures, movies, dances, or magic, too. Such form of mixed performances accompanied by Western genres became even more vitalized in the 1920's and came to be positioned as a form of traditional music performances. Therefore, research on the forms of mixed performances between Western genres and traditional music is meaningful in examining the forms of traditional music performances that have not been studied in the history of Korean modern music and understanding the trends of traditional music performances which were generally found in the Japanese colonial era. However, such research has hardly been conducted concretely yet. Accordingly, concerning the forms of mixed performances between Western genres and traditional music in the 1920's, this author considered the background of vitalizing mixed performances between Western genres and traditional music mainly with newspaper articles of the time and their formal characteristics. Regarding the background of vitalizing the forms of mixed performances between Western genres and traditional music, from the 1920's, the forms of mixed performances between Western genres and traditional music became more vitalized than before. The causes of that may include the increase of groups hosting or sponsoring such performances from the 1920's and also the dramatic increase of such performances in general. Moreover, the increased performances were conducted in the forms of mixed performances mainly in order to satisfy the people's needs becoming diversified with the distribution of Western civilization. Concerning the formal characteristics of mixed performances between Western genres and traditional music, this researcher classified western genres performed with traditional music and examined what characteristics were found in such mixed performances of tradition music by the types of Western genres respectively. First, in the mixed performances type of western-type genre and traditional music, the number of programs for the western music had significant portion in general, and there were certain ensemble of the western music and traditional musical instrument that was rare at this period of time, and it also had the characteristics of classifying two genres to perform for each title or date. Second, in the mixed performances type of the drama and traditional music, the traditional music is directly participated in the drama with the similar type to the theater, or performed independently from the drama with the role of interlude performance for the stage conversion of the drama to have the characteristics of performing in audience publicity or entertainment. Third, in the mixed performances type of the lecture and traditional music, the traditional music is played before or after the lecture to play the role to set the atmosphere and entertainment for the lecture as displaying the feature to perform for the audience attraction. And, fourth, in the mixed performances type of the movie and traditional music, the traditional music sometimes directly participated in the movie or had the features of independent performance, and there was a characteristic to perform for the entertainment after showing a movie.

In this article, potential problems in the exchanges and collaboration of South and North Korean performance programs were reviewed focusing on the articles related to performances in the North Korean copyright law. In the North Korean copyright law, there were significant differences from the ordinary rules in the international society or lack of the rules. They are the problems on the bases and principles of North Korean copyright law, unacceptance of copyrightable works against their political system, equal and mutual benefit on the copyright of the South Korean copyrightable works, neighboring copyright and economic right, unlimited protection for moral right, unpreparedness of right protection for online copyrightable works, and so on. On the other hand, the available performance programs to exchange mutually between South and North in the short run include national operas, dramas, musicals, festival events, and so on. However, legal and systematic improvement plans are required on the different copyright rules between South and North to facilitate the exchanges and cooperation. Externally, collaborations are required in the international copyright stage such as collaborative agreements on various international copyright usages, and we should consider the global entrance of performance programs that contain national sentiment and develop mutual trusts through these.

From 2010, new keyword of so-called devising theatre in the Korean performing arts scene has emerged. The backdrop is the antipathy to the hierarchical creative environment, the search for a language that can reflect increasingly complex societies, and the influx of new performances from abroad. Of course, devising theatre can be realized in a wide variety of forms in the actual field, so it cannot be defined as one methodology. But commonly all these various forms of the attempts aim to create a democratic relationship among participants, and process-centered breakthrough in the hierarchy of creative materials such as texts, sounds. light and human body. In 2017, Creative VaQi seeks to find new keyword called 'Reality of Division in Korean Peninsula' and to develop it into performance languages experimenting inter-disciplinary devising methodology. The company conducted a walking trip alongside the division line(300km) and tried to achieve the landscape and traces of division. After the walking, they created a specific form and performing contents called "Walking Holiday" out of their experiences. In this thesis, I will analyze the whole process of the devising "Walking Holiday" and examine what kind of result it led to. Furthermore, I, as the director of "Walking Holiday" will continue to discuss new possibilities and limitations of devising theatre methods that the company tries and aim at this time.

The purpose of this study is to develop and implement the Appropriate Technology Science School program (ATSS) for youth operated by the Europe-Korea Conference on Science & Technology (EKC) since 2016. The development process consisted of pre-online management meetings, online and offline tutor training, operation of ATSS for youth, and satisfaction surveys. As a result of the development, the management team selected the mission-solving theme of "Transforming village using blockchain technology" through a pre-online meeting. The contents were reorganized according to the level of the participating tutees, and various learning activities such as co-building activities, games, and plays were newly introduced and developed first, and the programs developed through tutor training were demonstrated and improved. A total of 38 tutees and tutors from 6 countries participated in the 2018 ATSS. As a result, participants showed positive satisfaction overall. Tutees showed interest in dome co-building activities and hash function calculation activities, and tutors showed interest in lectures and monopoly games related to blockchain technology. The development and of the 2018 ATSS will contribute to the improvement of expertise in the operation of the EKC ATSS in the future to the management team. It will be an opportunity for tutors to experience that high-tech science and technology have a good impact on appropriate technology for the third world and community society. In addition, Tutees will be provided with an opportunity to indirectly experience the local situation and community society through a role play on the impact of blockchain technology on African villages.
