Many organizations are operating knowledge management(KM) for their competitive advantage in dynamically changeable markets. To support KM successfully, they are considerably investing in knowledge management systems(KMS) development. By using KMS, organizations can lead to the improvement of their employees' knowledge level and the removal of inefficient tasks, consequently resulting in their competitive edge. On the basis of the power process perspective, this study investigates the CEO leadership and its organization's performance for successful development of KMS.

There are two kind of system in hotel for evaluating management. the first is infra system, for example Front management system - reservation system, C/I, C/O system, POS system , web system, call center management -, Back office system, interface system, and so on which manage direct control for hotel, and next is strategic system, for example BSC , CS . which is supporting hotel management. The purpose of this study was to find using the Balanced Scorecard to evaluate hotel management perfomance. Management performance is based on productivity, quality, time, effect, and responsiveness. Hotel economic value is not equal visual asset which is measured financial value. It is include hotel brand, image, customers who have good loyalty, employees who give customers special service, and systems which was affected by internal process. In conclusion, innovation, growth, internal system process, empioyee and customer have effect hotel performance. Therefore hotel has to know non-financial performance which has positively relate to financial performance.

In this study, we investigated the influence of smart factory's implementing energy management system on innovation resistance and work performance. We surveyed and analyzed 211 employees of system construction companies in the metropolitan area. In order to increase the introduction performance through diffusion of the energy management system, it is found that it is important to support the organizational-level management strategy to reduce the user's resistance to innovation. In conclusion, this study has implications for positively leading to the efficiency and management performance of the manufacturing process of the manufacturing enterprises, and it is necessary to follow - up studies considering the characteristics of the energy management system and the expansion of the research scope in the future.

자가통제평가(CSA : Control Self Assessment)는 핵심사업 목적을 달성하는데 개입되는 위험 그리고 그러한 사업위험을 관리하기 위하여 설계된 내부통제를 공식적이고 문서화된 협력적 프로세스에 의하여 검토하기 위하여 사용되는 방법론이다. 현재 많은 기업에서 효과적인 조직통제와 비즈니스 프로세스 개선을 위하여 전문 감사인과 경영인들이 기업지배구조 조직의 강력한 위험관리 도구로서 자가통제평가의 필요성을 강조하고 있다. 자가통제평가는 해당 조직의 담당부서나 팀에서 내부통제평가를 통하여 내부통제상의 재무보고, 준법, 사업 및 운영상의 효율성 등을 확보하기 위해서 설치되며, 효과적인 모니터 장치로서 기업지배구조상의 업무 프로세스를 정비하고 업무에서 발생하는 제반 정보의 흐름을 원활하게 해서 조직에게 손해가 발생할 수 있는 여러 가지 위험으로부터 회사를 사전에 차단하는 기능을 한다. 이러한 부분에서 효과적인 자가통제평가 시스템을 구축하는 것이 중요할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 e-Business 관련 기업지배구조의 안전성을 확보하기 위한 자가통제평가 모델에 대한 개발 필요성과 관련 자가통제평가 세가지 기본 모델들을 통하여 장단점을 제시하고, 자가통제평가 모델의 필요성을 논의하였다.

Six Sigma has been adopted for the last two decades in many industries of manufacturing and service business to implement processs improvement. The methodology has difficulties in discovering target projects in the Define step and in controlling continuous measure and control in the Control step. To address the problem, more advanced system is required to support continuous control and management, and business process management (BPM) can be an effective solution for this problem. In this research, we introduce integrated models of Six Sigma and BPM for the purpose of realizing continuous process improvement, and explain the procedure of analyzing, improving, and monitoring the processes based on the data which has been accumulated in business process execution. It is expected that this integrated approach can maximize business performance by improving and managing business continuously on the integrated platform of two business innovation strategies, Six Sigma and BPM.

This paper firstly aims to classifying the applicability of the Balanced Scorecard approach to Korean ocean-going shipping firms' management system. The applicability of this approach is from Korean shipping firms using Balanced Scorecard will create more effective and efficient organizational performance with reflecting non-financial indexes and making a balance among missions in organization. Secondly, the paper suggests positive information and theoretical evidences to improve Korean shipping firms' management system examines an availability of the Balanced Scorecard as one method of management tools. So these factors are analysed by structural equation model. This study provides CEO in Korean ocean-going shipping firm the guideline and availability of the Balanced Scorecard as to what kinds of factors should be considered and what is the most critical factor to adopt the BSC into their business.

The importance of R&D project to enhance the national competitiveness continuously increase. So, it is the most important point that is evaluating the outcome and the utilizability of the project. And we need the system that can manage the evaluation of the project. In this paper, I want to discuss about the way of process management that is the evaluation of the R&D project using a system.

For successful projects, Project Management Information System(PMIS) using the formal systematic processes is necessary. Because the existing PMIS focuses on low-level project management, the life-cycle administration of the projects is required. In this dissertation, I describe not only the processes for managing a project with the top-down approach(a hierarchical goal setting of the project outcome), but also PMIS which can control whole processes of R&D projects. The PMIS described in this dissertation can reduce the workload of project management by providing user-adaptive environments and linking with related systems, so can be helpful to enhance the efficiency of the project management. And, it is expected that these processes can be the standard project management processes which are adaptive to various types of projects.

Utilizing cross-functional project teams is an attractive organizing option, particularly in solving complex and innovative problems that require diverse sources of information, knowledge, and expertise brought by individuals from different functional backgrounds. This study is aiming at finding the group dynamics surrounding and inside the teams for the better understand what makes cross-functional project teams effective. Adopting variables from small group research and organizational context research, I extract critical antecedents, mediator, and team-coaching that lead to team performance. Data from 32 cross-functional project teams consisting of 214 individual respondents are analyzed through regression analyses for hypotheses testing. Results of the analyses demonstrate that the team process and team performance are significantly affected by the composition of competence in team and team compensation. Also I find that team-coaching as a leadership behavior has influence on team process and team performance. Some implications, future research directions, and limitations are discussed.

EVM(Earned Value Management) is a management methodology for integrating scope, schedule and resources, and for objectively measuring project performance and progress. EVMS(Earned Value Management System) has been used for the performance measurement of R&D and construction projects in developed countries such as United States, United Kingdom and Australia. The nuclear power plant (NPP) projects in Korea have not applied EVMS. However, EVMS has come into request for overall schedule and cost risk management and performance measurement in overseas project of the nuclear power plant as a contractor. In this paper, based on the global EVMS guidelines, EVMS per unit processes have been developed for NPP projects. Moreover, using Business Process Management (BPM), it proposes an integrated process model with tasks, roles, and procedures for EVMS for NPP construction projects.
