Evaluation of physical properties of Zn-Al metal coating according to arc metal spray surface treatment method (아크 금속 용사 표면 처리 방법에 따른 Zn-Al 금속 용사 피막의 물리적 특성 평가)

  • Arc metal spraying is a widely used method for improving the performance of construction structures such as corrosion resistance and electromagnetic wave shielding. However, when arc metal spraying is applied to a concrete structure, adhesion performance may deteriorate. Therefore, the effect of each surface treatment method on the physical properties between the arc metal spray coating and concrete was reviewed by evaluating the deposition efficiency and adhesion performance according to the arc metal spray surface treatment method (surface reinforcing agent, roughening agent, and sealing agent). As a result, it is suggested as an optimal surface treatment condition to induce non-interface failure by using a roughening agent and to improve the properties of concrete and metal coatings by applying a surface reinforcing agent and sealing agent.

  • Portland Limestone Cement (PLC) is a blended cement using limestone powder as SCMs (Supplementary Cementitious Materials), and is currently regarded as an essential means for achieving carbon neutral in the cement industry. This study was performed to investigate the fresh and hardened properties of cement mortar according to the fineness and replacement ratio of limestone powder. As a result, the compressive strength of mortar used high blaine limestone powder were equivalent level of that of OPC.

  • Predicting the compressive strength of concrete is important for shortening construction time and reducing construction costs. In this study, the coefficients required for maturity method and compressive strength prediction equation were calculated by measuring the cement hydration reaction rate, concrete setting time and ultimate strength. The experiment was conducted in an isothermal environment of 10℃, 20℃ and 30℃ using a normal Portland cement, and the experiment was conducted with a total of 9 levels of W/C (40%, 50%, 60%) of 3 levels for each temperature. As a result of comparing the predicted strength and the measured strength for each blend, only an error of less than 5% was found for all blending and curing periods.

  • The Wolseong Wooden moat is a unique example. Which is a vertical wall made of wood. It shows a changing point how to make the wall by digging a hole and stacking stones vertically. This study tried to to make a assumption about the construction process of the wooden structure found in the Wolseong pit moat. I sorted out wooden elements and then analyzing these features and compared with the results of the excavation. After I made 3D modelling in the order to it was made. This moat is not only a function of digging up the ground to trap water, but also a technique of building structures to maintain walls. It is a valuable material that can show the woodworking engineering techniques of the Silla Dynasty.

  • A study was conducted on UHPC production using the silicone mold method. UHPC (Ultra-High-Performance Concrete) has the advantage of being able to shape the product in a free-form shape on concrete, but when mass-producing products in one design, such as electronic products, rather than one-time products such as buildings and decorations Demolition is difficult with wood and mold.   • Recently, it is certain that the increase of heating and cooling energy consumption by radical change in climate condition has caused serious problems related to environmental and energy concerns associated with increase of fossil fuel usage and carbon dioxide production as well as global warming. Therefore, various actions to reduce greenhouse gas and energy consumption have been prepared by world developed countries. The energy consumption by buildings approximately reaches 25% of total korea energy consumption. The greatest part in the buildings of the energy consumption is building facade. But a few research projects on concrete comprising more than 70% of outsider of buildings has been tried. This research is structural insulation concrete what improved insulation performance using micro form admixture and calcined diatomite powder and lightweight aggregate.

  • A method for repairing cracks using low-viscosity resins has been proposed as a construction method that can quickly repair roads from deterioration. However, when the viscosity of the epoxy resin is high, there is a limit in that it is difficult for the material to penetrate into microcracks and cracks in the concrete top plate. In this study, an epoxy thin-layer pavement repair method was developed using low-viscosity PMMA (Poly methyl methacrylate) to repair microcracks on the pavement surface and pavement layer and reinforce the pavement surface. Materials necessary for the thin-layer packaging method were developed, and performance was evaluated to meet the epoxy binder quality standards. As a result, all materials met the required performance.

  • 선박거주구는 선박이라는 특성으로 인해 육상의 일반적인 거주공간과 달리 거주자의 거주성 보다는 선박의 목적에 충실하게 설계되고 운영되고 있다. 최근 거주자들이 거주구에 대하여 보다 쾌적한 환경을 요구하고 있으며, 신체적 변화에 따라 기존 기준으로 설계된 거주구의 환경에 대한 불만이 높아 지고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 선박 거주구에 적용되는 거주구 설계기준을 분석하고, 실 거주자를 대상으로 거주구에 대한 거주성 조사를 바탕으로 거주구 설계기준의 문제점을 도출하였다. 이러한 문제점 해결을 위하여 유사사례와 거주자의 신체적 특성을 분석하여 거주구 개선기준을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to enhance the photocatalytic properties of a mixture of low-cost titanium dioxide and calcium carbonate through a simple mixing process. To increase the photocatalytic activity, the weight ratio of titanium dioxide to calcium carbonate was selected as a variable. Photocatalytic activity was evaluated by measuring the degradation of methylene blue and NOx under ultraviolet light. The results showed that a mixture containing 60% titanium dioxide and 40% calcium carbonate exhibited the highest photocatalytic activity.
