A Study on the Weight Adjustment Method for Household Panel Survey (가구 패널조사에서의 가중치 조정에 관한 연구)

  • The panel survey is need to have a more concern about a response due to a secession and non-response of a sample. And generally a population is not fixed and continuously changed. Thus, the rotation sample design can be used by the method replacing the panel research. This paper is the study of comparison to equal weight method, Duncan weight, Design weight method, weight share method in rotation sample design. More specifically, this paper compared variance estimators about the existing each method for the efficiency comparison, and to compare the precision using the relative efficiency gain by the Coefficient Variance(CV) after getting the design weight from the actual data.

  • This study attempts to create an analytical framework of the transformation and transmission of knowledge by teachers to students. I focuses on the assertion that the cognitive thinking of a teacher is reflected in his use of mathematical language. Mathematical language is one of the critical elements of communicating mathematical knowledge to students. I examined the cognitive teaching style of different teachers as expressed in their use of mathematical language. An analytical framework of Mathematics Teaching styles was created integrating thinking factors of each visual and analytic style into 5 categories. After that, I regarding the teaching style of mathmatics teachers places its significance not on which teaching style is right or wrong but on identifying the strong and weak points of the teaching styles through actual analysis. With the help of this analytical framework, I conducted an analysis on the videotaped classes and found that the teachers were not biased to one side but in fact there were teachers who demonstrated visual, analytic or mixed teaching style. Therefore, I concludes that math teachers can analyze their teaching styles and improve them through the analytical framework provided in these findings.

  • The construction failures can be decreased by continuously improving the construction process based upon the information of construction failures. Herein, the information of construction failures can be utilized as the key factor far identifying the ineffective process and providing the improved construction process that can prevent failures. The objective of this research is to suggest a model for improving construction process continuously by using the information of construction failures. An extended review and analysis of literatures related to the construction failure are performed to investigate the definition, type, cause, and lesson teamed of failure. This research also identifies that process modeling methodology and case-based reasoning are applicable to the construction process improvement, and then it suggests a framework of CIMCP(continuous improvement model of construction process based on the module of case-based reasoning such as case retrieval, case index, and case adaptation.

Case Study on Science Classroom Analysis (과학과 수업 분석에 대한 사례 연구)

  • This case study exemplifies science classroom observation and analysis. Data from two-day classroom observation, pre- and post-instruction interviews with the teacher and instructional materials were used to analyse the features of a science classroom. A teacher's classroom practices were examined in terms of the following six categories: (1)curriculum and science content, (2)teaching and learning methods, (3) teacher' s knowledge about learners, (4)classroom environment, (5)assessment, and (6)teacher's efforts for professional development. The teacher in this case study not only improved his own classroom practices, but also took an active role in teachers' in-service education to share his practical knowledge with others. Implications that valid evaluation(or observation) frameworks of classroom practices have on teacher education and teachers' inservice education are also discussed. These evaluation frameworks should provide teachers with a vision of highly accomplished practices.

Development of the Analytic Framework for Dialogic Argumentation Using the TAP and a Diagram in the Context of Learning the Circular Motion (원운동 학습 상황에서 Toulmin의 논의구조(TAP)와 다이어그램을 이용한 대화적 논의과정 분석틀 개발)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop analytic framework for dialogic argumentation to show the context and flow visualizing interactions of argumentation, to be able to present quality of argumentation specifically. For this, we formulated a method of the argumentation diagram using feature of diagram simple and structurally visualizing interrelation between argument components, and then quantified quality of argumentation to argument level score on this basis. We have developed the learning material for argumentation about a vertical circular motion and used the obtained translations from applying it in developing the framework. We chose argument statements among full transcript and then coded as Toulmin's argument components, and these codes was effectively arranged and linked to show argumentation diagram. Results by argumentation diagram could be useful understanding of interactive argumentation context and the flow and present frequency, the combination of argument elements, rough qualitative level of argumentation. To quantify argumentation quality, we gave different scores to different link lines reflecting indication of argumentation quality like that diversity of argument component, justification, presence or absence of rebuttals. The process of identification of argument level is very simple, qualitative level of argumentation represented as concrete score could present various and concrete argument level. Developed analytic framework might contribute to argumentation research field, because it can present effectively dialogic argumentation result. Also, various analysis cases might guide designing an effective argumentation practice and circular motion learning.

  • 본 논문의 목적은 첫째, 자본자유화로 인해 통화공급 구조가 이미 균형에서 이탈하여 심각한 수준의 불균형 상해에 있다는 점을 실증적으로 입증하고자 한다. 둘째, 자본유입에 따른 정책조정 비용을 감안한 통화정책 모형을 통해 주장에 대한 이론적 근거를 제시하고, 정책 조절에 수반되는 손실비용(損失費用)과 Mundell의 $\ulcorner$할당 문제(割當 問題)$\lrcorner$를 다시 조명해 보고자 한다. 세째, 자본유입에 따르는 문제점들을 해결할 수 있는 정책방안들을 Modigliani ar Miller의 명제(命題)에 입각한 새로운 각도에서 합리적 인 증시정책을 모색해 보고자 한다. 분석의 이론적 틀로서는 자본유입에 따라 수반되는 불확실성하의 정책조절 비용을 감안한 손실비용 최소화(loss cost minimization)를 통해, 통화 당국자는 총통화량을 정책적으로 내정된 목표값에 수렴시킨다고 가정하였다. 다른 한편, 자본유입에 따르는 문제점들을 통화시장에만 제한시키는 부분적(部分的) 균형분석(均衡分析) 대신, 이를 증권시장으로 직접 연계시켜 두 시장으로 확장된 틀을 활용하였다. 본 논문의 연구방법은 다음 두가지 측면의 접근식을 따랐다. 첫째, 자본자유화정책의 특성을 살펴보기 위해, 자본자유화 시점을 기준으로 삼아 과거 자본통제 시대의 $\ulcorner$사후적(事後的)인 중화정책(中和政策)$\lrcorner$에 의존하는 $\ulcorner$소극적(消極的)인 증권정책(證券政策)$\lrcorner$과 자본자유화시대의 $\ulcorner$사전적(事前的)인 상살정책(相殺政策)$\lrcorner$에 의한 $\ulcorner$거시적(巨視的)인 증권정책(證券政策)$\lrcorner$을 통해 고찰하는 비교분석론에 입각한 접근식을 택했다. 둘째, 외국자본의 유입동기(流入動機)를 문제해결의 시발점으로 삼아 이를 새로운 개방정책과 직결시켜 문제해결의 실마리를 풀어 보려는 선험적(先驗的) 접근식(接近式)을 택했다.

Conceptual Description of Hierarchical Structure in Discourse (담화 내 계층 구조의 개념 구조적 기술)

  • The distinction between main structure and side structure in discourse which was central to narrative studies has lacked an adequate. formal definition. This study supports the contention that there exists a hierarchical structure between discourse units constituting main structures, substructures, and side structures. The aim of this study is twofold: (j) to present an adequate. formal definition that provides a general identification criterion for distinguishing main structure from substructure and side structure proposed by Kuppevelt, and (jj) to propose conceptual relations representing hierarchical structures in discourse based on Sowa's Conceptual Structure Theory. The proposed conceptual relations which represent hierarchy and pragmatic relations of discourse segments are: DIGR (digression). T-SHFT (topic shift), and FRAM (frame). This s study shows pragmatic functions can be incorporated within CST in a systematic way.

  • This study is to present development plan for next study on applying the method of case study by applying scientific inference focusing on analysis and generalization of case study or study question about the tendency of thesis for case study of the field of crisis management released since 2004. As the result of analysis, the study on crisis management of Korea is almost individual technical case study and it is rarely to get proper study which can contribute theoretical formation for development of individual course of crisis management. Furthermore researchers are required to study in-depth about study plan that presents organization of study or logic of case selection and formality for data analysis.

An Analysis and Retrofit of U-rib Fatigue Cracks in the Steel Deck Bridge (강바닥판 교량의 U리브 피로균열 해석 및 보강)

  • In the steel deck box girder bridges, the deck is composed of deck plate, longitudinal and lateral direction ribs. The bridge, that is considered in this study, has been used for about 40 years and, recently, several cracks were found in the connection area of U-ribs. Further, additional cracks were occurred after some lateral rib plates and longitudinal frames were attached for the purpose of reinforcement. Therefore, the connection method in the U-ribs reinforcement was changed from the bolting to the weldment to get rid of stress concentration and further cracking. In this study, the stress in the U-ribs connection was analysed numerically and variable amplitude stress for the real traffic loads was measured experimentally before and after the frame reinforcement. Finally, the effects of reinforcement method were investigated and discussed.

  • 모래, 실트 및 자갈과 같은 비점착성 유사는 하천에서의 이동 형태에 따라 소류사와 부유사로 구분된다. 부유사는 난류로 인해 흐름 내에서 부유 상태로 이동하는 유사로, 대부분의 자연 하천에서 유사는 부유사 형태로 이송된다. 유수동역학적 조건 하에서 이동하는 부유사의 입도 분포는 유사 입자의 부유와 퇴적에 따라 불규칙적으로 변화하기 때문에 여러 연구에서 주요한 문제로 다뤄지고 있다. 부유사의 입도 분포는 흐름 유속, 부유사의 부유 높이, 하상 재료의 특성 등에 따라 변화하며, 로그 정규분포를 따르는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 여러 다양한 하천 흐름 조건에서 부유사의 입도 분포를 모의할 수 있는 입도 분포 모형에 관한 개념적 틀(Framework)을 제안한다. 유사 입자의 입도 분포 모의는 추계학적 방법의 적용을 통해 얻어진다. 본래 점착성 유사의 입도 분포를 모의하기 위한 추계학적 입도 분포 모형으로부터 제안된 개념적 틀로, 다양한 흐름 조건 하에서 특정 확률 분포형을 띠는 입도 분포를 모의할 수 있다. 점착성 유사의 이동 모형에서는 점착성을 띠는 유사 입자들의 응집 현상에 따른 크기 변화를 모의하기 위한 응집 모형이 필수적이다. 시간에 따른 크기 변화를 모의하는 응집 모형에서, 흐름 내 여러 특성들에 의해 결정되는 응집 인자와 달리 파괴 인자의 경우 불규칙적 난류 운동으로 인해 무작위한 특성을 띤다. 모형에서 요구되는 파괴 인자를 특정 확률 분포형을 띠는 난수로 고려함으로써 점착성 유사의 입도 분포 모형이 개발되었다. 이 때, 점착성 유사는 프랙탈 구조를 가지는 것으로 가정하기 때문에 크기에 따라 밀도와 침강 속도가 변화한다. 반면 비점착성 유사는 크기에 따른 밀도 변화가 일어나지 않으므로, 고정된 밀도와 프랙탈 차원을 적용하여 점착성 유사의 입도 분포모형으로부터 비점착성 유사의 입도 분포 모의가 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 추계학적 방법의 적용을 통해, 하나의 경계 조건으로 대변되는 하상 특성에 따른 단점 또한 보완될 것으로 예측된다. 예를 들어 로그 정규 분포를 띤다고 가정할 때 보정을 통해 결정해야하는 변수는 평균과 분산으로 두 개가 요구된다. 유사의 평균 크기로부터 확률분포형의 평균값이 결정되면, 하상에 존재하는 유사의 특성에 따른 입도 분포의 분산은 난수의 분산을 결정함으로써 모의할 수 있다.
