Recently, role-based distributed system models have been proposed to support adaptive interactions in ubiquitous application environment. A Role-based distributed model regards an application as an organization composed of roles, and separate players running role processes from the roles. When an application is running, it binds a role with a player, and the player runs dynamically assigned role processes provided by an application for supporting adaptability. However, there has not been much attention on researches about development and runtime environment for role-based distributed systems. In this paper we suggest an application framework as an environment for developing and executing role-base distributed systems. The application framework is divided into two parts: an organization framework to manage and construct an organization composed of roles necessary in the application, and a player framework to provide running environment for players. In this paper, we focus on the organization framework which supports the creation and management of organizations, directory service for players and allocation of players to roles, and message brokering between roles and players. The proposed framework makes developers to be able to develop highly adaptive distributed systems in the ubiquitous environment.

This study is focused on the public developer's role of urban regeneration projects in Japan to derive implications for economy-based-urban regeneration programs by the Special Act on Activation and Support for Urban Regeneration (Urban Regeneration Special Act). 4 case studies; Otemachi 1-1, Shinonome, Shibuya Station and Osiage-Narihirabashi were delivered to review public sectors' roles. Central government, local government and public developer play key roles each step. Urban Regeneration Special Act doesn't set up public sector's role to deliver urban regeneration projects after establishment of master plan. These cases build the governance organization to deliver urban regeneration projects among diverse interest groups including private sectors and landowners. Especially, public developers play a key role as a coordinator and a developer throughout whole urban regeneration projects.

Role-Based Access Control Policy has a role hierarchies in which a higher case role can perform permissions of a lower case role. However, it is necessary for a lower case role to perform a higher case role's permission, which is not allowed to a lower case role, basically. In this paper propose a temporary permission delegation method. As the result of a temporary permission delegation, junior roles can perform senior roles' permissions in a dedicated interval.

This exploratory study reports how teacher-librarians perceive their roles as practitioners in school library media programs. Conducted within the framework of qualitative research, the study employed a focus group interview (Morgan 1997) with five teacher-librarians at elementary school level in Seoul. The findings suggest: (1) the roles of teacher-librarians are influenced a great deal by many factors in educational systems; (2) there is no consensus on how to define and perform their role as teachers; (3) there seems to be increasing emphasis on their program administrator's role; (4) there is no consensus on prioritizing the five roles suggested by the AASL (2009), but all the participants agreed that the leader's role is most crucial for the success of pursuing the rest of the roles, and (5) there seems to be no clear boundaries as teacher-librarians perform their roles. Putting all the results together, the researcher was able to conclude that teacher-librarians are frequently asked to be flexible and negotiable and have great burden in the affective, cognitive, and physical realm for the roles imposed and expected of them.

Many approaches exist for studying travel service quality, employee's satisfaction, and traveler' satisfaction. Although tour conductor play an important role in travel service, there is a lack of research on how to conceptualize and measure tour conductor's role, role stress and service delivery level. So this paper presents a conceptual framework and research approach for examining the role conflict, ambiguity, overload, and service delivery level of tour conductor in group package and the impacts of role stress on service delivery level. Results indicate that there are significant affection on service delivery level of TC among the role conflict, ambiguity, and overload. For the most part, the role conflict and ambiguity more impacted on responsibility and empathy with service encounter, the role overload affected on professional and tangibles. In conclusion, the studies reported here highlight the importance of individual effort as well as organizational police in reducing strain and improving service delivery level.

The purpose of this study was to make a further analysis on potential correlations of male spouses' role performance (daily life assistance, sexual life satisfaction and marital conflict) and their marital stability in international marriage. In order to meet the purpose, this study used a questionnaire form to survey Korean men who married and kept a marital relationship with foreign brides (survey dating from Dec. 12, 2010 to May. 3. 2011). Out of total 300 sheets of questionnaire form distributed to a population of those men, 247 sheets of questionnaire form were collected from them. Then, total 220 sheets of complete and valid questionnaire form except incomplete 27 sheets were finally selected for statistical data analysis. Major findings of this study can be summed up as follows: First, in terms of role performance, it was found that group with more daily life assistances had higher marital stability than group with less daily life assistances. Accordingly, it was found that daily life assistance was correlated with marital satisfaction. Secondly, in terms of role performance, it was found that group with more marital conflicts had higher marital stability than group with less marital conflicts. Based on these findings, it is concluded that male spouses' positive role performance in international marriage has positive effects on marital stability in relationships with their foreign female spouses.

본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 상황 인지 역할 기반 접근 제어(CA-RBAC: Context-Aware Role-based Access Control) 모델을 제안한다. 이 모델의 설계는 이러한 응용에서 상황 기반 접근 제어 요구사항에 의해 안내된다. 이러한 요구사항은 역할에서 사용자의 멤버쉽(memership), 역할 멤버에 의한 수행을 허용하는 것과 하나의 응용 환경에서 상황 기반 서비스 통합과 관련된다. 상황 정보는 역할 멤버에 의한 수행을 허용하는 것과 관련된 정책과 역할 멤버에 의해 역동적으로 인터페이스되는 서비스의 접근과 관련된 정책인, 역할 허용 정책에서 사용되어진다. 상황 정보의 역동적인 속성은 어떤 상황 조건이 유지되는데 실패했을 때, 허용 활동과 역할 멤버쉽의 해제를 위한 모델 수준의 지원을 요구한다. 이러한 모델을 근거로 하여 본 논문에서는 상황 인지 응용을 구축하기 위한 프로그래밍 프레임워크를 표현하고 상황 기반 접근 제어 요구 사항을 명시하고 강화하는 메커니즘(mechanism)을 제공한다.

정보화 사회의 진전과 더불어 정보통신의 역할이 사회에 미치는 파급효과가 갈수록 커지고 있다. 이러한 파급효과 중 최근 주목을 받고 있는 이 방재이다. 특히, 자연재해의 경우 엄청난 재산상 및 인명상의 피해를 가져오게 된다. 하지만, 자연재해가 갑자기 발생하는 경우는 매우 드물다. 따라서, 재해 발생 징후를 탐지하여 이에 신속하게 대처하거나 재해 발생시에 신속한 상황처리가 이루어진다면, 재산상 및 인명상의 피해를 최소화할 수 있게 된다. 이러한 과정에서 정보통신은 커다란 역할을 수행하게 된다. 본 고는 이러한 재해와 관련되어 정보통신, 특히 위성통신과 이동통신이 어떤 역할을 수행하게 되는지에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.
