A Real-time Lane Tracking Using Inverse Perspective Mapping (역투영 변환을 이용한 고속도로 환경에서의 실시간 차선 추적)

  • In this paper, A real-time lane tracking algorithm is proposed for lane departure warning system. To eliminate perspective effect, input image is converted into Bird's View by inverse perspective mapping. Next, suitable features are extracted for lane detection. Lane feature that correspond to area of interest and RANSAC are used to detect lane candidates. And driving lane is decided by clustering of lane candidates. Finally, detected lane is tracked using the Kalman filter. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can be processed within 30ms and its detection rate is approximately 90% on the highway in a variety of environments such as day and night.

Finally, lane model is calculated using RANSAC and lane model is tracked using Kalman Filter. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can be processed within 20ms and its detection rate approximately 90% on the highway in a variety of environments.

  • Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), which provides images of targets using radio signals, enables monitoring at all times regardless of weather conditions. In this paper, the SAR system was installed on the test aircraft to collect SAR raw data on the ground and the sea, and the results of image formation using the backprojection algorithm were presented.

  • Autofocus(AF) Method is essential to overcome the performance degradation due to motion measurement errors under airborne SAR environment. In this paper, back-projection algorithm(BPA) is applied to SAR raw data acquired under the squinted mode, and preprocessing algorithm of AF for BPA is investigated. To apply AF to SAR image effectively, image backplane rotation method and doppler location alignment function for BPA are proposed. The proposed method is applied to SAR raw data acquired in a flight test and shows excellent performance improvement in real data.

  • 본 논문에서는 개선된 고속의 Back Projection 기법과 에지맵 보간을 이용한 단일영상 기반의 초해상도(super resolution) 영상을 생성하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 알고리즘은 영상의 색채 왜곡을 방지하기 위해 RGB 컬러 도메인에서 HSV 컬러 도메인으로 변경하여 밝기정보인 V만 이용한다. 먼저 잡음제거와 속도 향상을 위해 개선된 고속 back projection을 이용해 영상을 확대 재구성한다. 이와 함께 LoG(laplacian of gaussian) 필터링을 이용하여 에지 맵을 추출한다. 에지의 정보와 back projection의 결과를 이용하여 고해상도 영상을 재구성한다. 제안하는 알고리즘을 이용하여 복원한 영상은 부자연스러운 인공물을 효과적으로 제거하고, blur현상을 줄여 에지 정보를 보정하고 강조해준다. 또한 실험을 통해 제안하는 알고리즘이 기존의 보간법과 전통적인 back projection 결과보다 주관적인 화질이 우수하고 객관적으로 우수한 성능을 나타내는 것을 입증한다.

Efficient Object Localization using Color Correlation Back-projection (칼라 상관관계 역투영법을 적용한 효율적인 객체 지역화 기법)

  • Localizing an object in image is a common task in the field of computer vision. As the existing methods provide a detection for the single object in an image, they have an utilization limit for the use of the application, due to similar objects are in the actual picture. This paper proposes an efficient method of object localization for image recognition. The new proposed method uses color correlation back-projection in the YCbCr chromaticity color space to deal with the object localization problem. Using the proposed algorithm enables users to detect and locate primary location of object within the image, as well as candidate regions can be detected accurately without any information about object counts. To evaluate performance of the proposed algorithm, we estimate success rate of locating object with common used image database. Experimental results reveal that improvement of 21% success ratio was observed. This study builds on spatially localized color features and correlation-based localization, and the main contribution of this paper is that a different way of using correlogram is applied in object localization.

Fast Calculation Algorithm for Line Integral on CT Reconstruction (CT 영상재구성을 위한 빠른 선적분 알고리즘)

  • Iterative reconstruction of CT takes a long time because projection and back-projection are alternatively repeated until taking a good image. To reduce the reconstruction time, we need a fast algorithm for calculating the projection which is a time-consuming step. In this paper, we proposed a new algorithm to calculate the line integral and the algorithm is approximately 10% faster than the well-known Siddon method (Jacobs version) and has a good image quality. Although the algorithm has been investigated for the case of parallel beams, it can be extended to the case of fan and cone beam geometries in the future.

  • 최근 수년간 의료영상분야는 국내외적으로 급격한 발전을 거듭하고 있다. 특히 자기공명영상장치 (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), X-ray CT(Computed Tomography)와 단층촬영장치는 인체내부를 비침습적(non-invasive)으로 영상화함으로써 해부학적인 질병진단에 많은 장점을 가지고 있다. 이와같은 단층영상 재구성에는 역매트릭스법(matrix inversion). 반복재구성법(interative method), 역투영 법(back-projection), 2차원 Fourier 변환법(2D FFT), 중첩재구성법(Filtered back-projection) 등의 다양한 알고리즘을 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 X-ray CT에서의 단층영상재구성 기법 중 널리 사용되고 있는 Filtered Back Projection 기법의 연산순서도와 연산량을 분석하고 이를 시뮬레이션을 통하여 확인하고 실시간 영상재구성을 위하여 범용 Digital Signal Processor의 병렬처리시스템 구성에 기반된 최적 Architecture를 선정하고자 한다.

Depth Map Correction Algorithm based on Segmentation in Multi-view Systems (다중시점 환경에서의 슈퍼픽셀 세그먼테이션 기반 깊이 영상 개선 알고리즘)

  • In immersive media, the most important factor that provides immersion is depth information. Therefore, it is essential to obtain high quality depth information in order to produce high quality immersive media. In this paper we propose an algorithm to improve depth map, considering the segmentation of images and the relationship between multiple views in multi-view systems. The proposed algorithm uses a super-pixel segmentation technique to divide the depth map of the reference view into several segments, and project each segment into adjacent view. Subsequently, the depth map of the adjacent view is improved using plane estimation using the information of the projected segment, and then reversed to the reference view. This process is repeated for several adjacent views to improve the reference depth map by updating the values of the improved adjacent views and the initial depth map of the reference view. Through simulation, the proposed algorithm is shown to surpass the conventional algorithm subjectively and objectively.
