Mathematization is cognitive process of empirical phenomena into mathematics. The article shows that mathematization is an fundamental element in the process of westernization and the difference between the East and tile West is due to the existence of mathematics.

This study investigates on emergent process of the library in Republic of Indonesia through historical review. Under the Dutch and Japanese colonial control for around 350 years, library played a role as information control center. After independence of Republic of Indonesia, library was built as a result of government literacy project, but it has not been settled down as a public information center. Therefore, as an alternative activity, community libraries have been constructed to give a books and programs with its local community users in a private sectors. This situation represents that it is urgent to discuss with all society sectors to improve library role as a lifelong learning center and give a way to have a cultural sprit the citizens. The study suggests several policy agendas to improve library's public role in Indonesia society.

During the ASEM(Asian-Europe Meeting) the president Kim Dae-jung have a conference with France president Jacques Chirac about the Waikyujanggak book restitution which the president Mitterand promised in 1993. The results of conference, equivalence of quality and quantity, have stirred up Korean public sentiment. The restitution of cultural asset is a very subtile problem in all of the country. The united Germany and from the Soviet Union dismantled Russia also have begun to discuss the library book restitution. These two countries had plundered library books each other during the World War II. To resolve the issue Germany and Russia are having several Round Table at governmental level and library expert level. However except Lituania and Georgia three are not many successful outcomes. This study based on the process of the book restitution the Germany and Russia being under way. Though our historical background is different from these two countries, we have a same problem.

The reality which cannot protect existing tangible intangible modern cultural heritage in Daejeon is makes historical value and identity of a city weakened and then, this leads to absence of the foundation of urban regeneration based on the history. References as recording inheritance indicates characteristics or identity of the area and they represent the physical mental symbol of the area; images of diverse structures or sceneries with historical or cultural characteristics are contents of urban regeneration based on history and culture, which can be utilized as historical sources to verify realness of disappearing modern cultural heritage. Therefore, understanding and utilization of modern cultural heritage through this study on regional archiving can be deemed to be the first stage to bring community spirit, affection and pride to local residents. In this connection, this study intends to suggest a policy direction not only to maintain realness of modern cultural heritage through preservation and utilization but also to expect formation of settling and fellowship as well as cultural economical effect from the viewpoint of urban regeneration.

The museum, run by the archives, should show historical facts about the president through objective records that are not fully evaluated. The wartime atmosphere should maintain solemnity to highlight the evidential value of records about history, but include an interesting element that allows visitors to come comfortably. It would be possible to accommodate 360 viewers at the same time, and it would be an option to limit the number of visitors considering the operation of weekend events and the donor honor hall. In this study, we established and presented an image integration plan centered on the color plan and the signature plan. Although the real image integration plan is a case study that starts with symbols and logos and is conducted through an integrated and systematic system through the basic design and application design system, it is considered to be a meaningful study in terms of practical use.

구술채록은 특정 주제의 연구사 기록화 작업에 있어 후대에 생생한 역사체험을 전승할 수 있는 최적의 연구사업이다. 특히 국내 천문우주과학 분야의 원로들이 대부분 연로하다는 점에서 한국천문학 발전사에 대한 구술채록은 시급성이 더욱 요구되고 있다. 이에 한국천문연구원 고천문연구센터는 그간 기관에서 자체적으로 수행해 온 사료분류체계 수립작업과 단발적인 구술채록 경험을 기반으로 본격적인 구술채록 연구사업을 수행할 계획이다. 이 연구는 한국천문학 발전사 구술채록 사업의 절차적 방법에 대한 기획론이다. 크게 (1)구술채록 로드맵 수립, (2) 구술기록 생산 프로세스, (3) 산출물 관리 및 활용으로 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 구술채록 로드맵 수립에 있어서는 현대 한국천문학 발전의 태동기 1950년대 중반을 기점으로 역사연구 및 주제분류를 중심으로 천문학 구술기록 특성화를 기한다. 이를 기반으로 구술대상자를 선정하고 큰 맥락의 역사와 개인 생애사를 교차하는 분석 틀을 중심으로 인터뷰 질문지를 추출한다. 이 과정에서 구술대상자의 소장 사료를 도출하여 미리 잠재적 사료 수집을 도모하도록 한다. 둘째, 본격적 구술기록 생산 프로세스에서는 전 단계에서 이행한 수집정보를 바탕으로 구술 산출물을 제작한다. 면담일지, 상세녹취록, 요약본, 이용동의서 등 기타 필요한 구술 제반 서식을 바탕으로 구술 동영상을 산출하고 라벨링한다. 이 산출물에 대한 사실관계 검증 후 최종 산출물 완성 및 기타 행정 처리로 제작은 종료된다. 마지막으로 산출물 관리 및 활용에 있어서는 사료 수집 전략의 기반 자료와 다양한 지식정보콘텐츠의 활용체계를 수립한다. 더 나아가 향후 이 연구사업은 구술DB화와 서비스 체계화를 위하여 구술아카이브 시스템을 설계하는 데 성과물을 활용한다. 이 연구기획론은 한국천문학이라는 특정 주제에 대한 것이므로 큰 틀에서의 방법은 기록학적 전개방식을 차용하지만, 역사연구와 기록의 특성화에 있어서는 한국천문학 연구사에 대한 깊은 이해가 동반되어야 한다. 따라서 광범위한 한국천문학 네트워크에 해당하는 다양한 학회, 교육기관, 연구기관 및 각종 사단법인 등의 역사와도 긴밀히 연결되어야 성과물은 비로소 가치 있고 풍부할 것이다. 이 연구를 시발점으로 향후 한국천문학 발전사 구술채록 사업에 대한 다양한 관학연구의 인식 공감대가 마련되기를 기대한다.

In recent papers (Pak et al., Pak and Kim), it was suggested to positively use the history of mathematics for the education of mathematics and discussed the determining problem of the order of instruction in mathematics. There are three kinds of order of instruction - historical order, theoretical organization, lecturing organization. Lecturing organization order is a combination of historical order and theoretical organization order. It basically depends on his or her own value of education of each teacher. The present paper considers a concrete problem determining the order of instruction for the concept of angle. Since the concept of angle is defined in relation to figures, we have to solve the determining problem of the order of instruction for the concept of figure. In order to do this, we first investigate a historical order of the concept of figure by reviewing it in the history of mathematics. And then we introduce a theoretical organization order of the concept of figure. From these basic data we establish a lecturing organization order of the concept of figure from the viewpoint of problem-solving. According to this order we finally develop the concept of angle and a related global property which leads to the so-called Gauss-Bonnet theorem.

이 연구의 목적은 인지적 전략인, 갈등도(Oh, 2011)를 기반으로 학생들이 명시적으로 과학의 본성(NOS)의 교육을 돕기 위하여 과학의 본성요소뿐만 아니라 과학의 역사를 담은 NOS Flow Map을 개발 제안하는 것이다. 예비적으로 과학의 본성의 교육을 위해 제안한 NOS Flow Map을 사용에 대한 이해를 탐색하기 위하여, 자신들의 NOS 이해를 강화하기 위해 우리가 제안한 NOS Flow Map의 유용성에 대한 예비 초등교사들의 인식를 조사하였다. 과학의 본성에 대한 중요한 관점들은 Kuhn의 과학철학과 역사가 아주 잘 일치된다. 즉 Kuhn의 과학혁명의 예로 가장 중요한 Copernicus의 혁명과정이 과학의 본성 중요한 요소들과 잘 일치됨을 보여준다. 따라서 이 연구에서 인지갈등을 통한 NOS 흐름도는 과학의 소양교육을 강화하는데 명시적이고 반성적인 도구이며 유망한 방법이라고 조심스럽게 제안한다.
