In this paper we study the expectation from the past which would be based in the initial Probability Theory. These study can show the value of expectation in the initial concept of Probability and illuminate the concept being taught.

This research is an attempt to investigate cultural identity at the international level. Asia is one of the weakest communities in the world due to discrepancies in terms of political, economic, social and cultural aspects. Additionally, Asia has never been independent in communication flows since imperialist history until the Korean wave emerged at the turn of this century. The Korean wave reflects complex power embedded in postcolonial world in addition to cultural commonality among Asian audiences. I have conducted audience researches on Korean drama fandom in Japan and China. I adopt Lacanian psychoanalysis in order to interpret identity issues of Asian media audiences. Particularly, Deleuze and Guattari's theories are useful to scrutinize group identity of Asian community. Additionally, I refer to theories of nationalism.

The importance of the convergence education is getting more and more emphasized. But the university convergence education has not yet met today's needs. So this study is focused on showing effective practice methods and finding development directions of the university convergence criticism education. One of a significant trend of the contemporary academic education of liberal arts is the tendency of the convergent and integrative studies. What is essential in the convergent and integrative studies creativity. The zeitgeist of knowledge-based society is change and innovation. In response to its request, college education is being asked to do convergence education, And general education as the basis of convergence education is strengthened.

한국 사회가 나아가야 할 역사 지향과 유기적으로 접목되는 선택을 하기 위해서는 미래를 조망하는 장기적 구도를 나름대로 구상하는 것이 긴요하다. 이러한 합리적.거시적 선택이야말로 민족사의 주체로서 부여된 역사적 책무가 아닌가 여겨진다. 이 역사적 책무는 대학생에게 국한되는 것이 아니라, 바로 우리들 지식인에게 더욱 적용되는 문제이다.

급속한 고도성장에 의한 도시화는 인구의 고밀도화, 교통문제, 도시문제 등의 각종 환경문제를 야기시키고 있다. 특히 교통문제는 늘어나는 교통량에 비해 교통기반시설이 너무도 부족하여 시간대 구분없이 교통체증이 날로 심각해지고 있다. 따라서 지상교통 수단의 한계를 해소하기 위해 많은 승객들을 신속하고 안전하게 수송할 수 있는 교통수단으로 지하철을 건설하게 되었다. 지하공간의 활용이 증가되면서 도심지 지하상가와 지하철 역사를 연결하여 경제성 높은 상권을 형성하는 지하상가가 발달하고 있다. (중략)

한국 사회과학이 근대적 학문으로 정립된 역사는 일천하다. 여기서 일천하다는 것은 그 역사가 짧다는 뜻이 아니라 학문이 발전될 수 있는 사회적 조건이 덜 성숙돼 있었다는 의미다. 지식인 사회가 서구 중심의 시각으로 무장하고 있는 상황, 한국의 경험적인 연구를 가능케 하는 자료의 부족, 한국인의 주체적인 문제의식의 방황(지식인 사회에서의 자기 문제에 대한 평가 부족), 연구방법에서 지나친 서구 의존은 바로 사회과학이 발전하기 어려운 상황을 증명한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 지식인 100명이, 한국인이 저술하고 한국을 연구대상으로 삼은 책을 8권 선정한 것은 이러한 사회적 조건 아래에서도 문제의식.자료.연구방법의 측면에서 높은 수준을 보여줬다는 점을 평가했을 것으로 추측된다.

본 연구는 임진왜란이 기억의 주체에 따라 다양하게 변용되는 방식을 사관, 신하, 작가, 영화감독의 텍스트를 통해 밝힌 것이다. 이를 통해 역사의 진실이 변주되는 양상을 보여주었다. 문제는 역사적 사건이 기억의 범주에서 돋보이고 은폐됨에 따라 역사의 진실은 당시와 현재에도 다르게 나타난다는 것이다.

This study focuses on Korea films of historical communication. Narrative analysis was conducted on the films in 2000s including , and <26 Years> that mainly have dealt with the 'Gwangju Democratization Movement'. As a result of the syntagmatic analysis, these films try to stabilize 'social imbalances' in the aspect of individuals and conceals issues of social structure. In addition, the result of paradigmatic analysis reveals that textual factors of 'active involvement of female characters', 'continuity of history through the survivors' demonstrate its strategies to publicize the historical truth. Consequently these films show its limitations that weakens historical meaning by placing unsolved problems of social structure as well as the love story. But rather than describing it as a history of the past, these films act as a catalyst to bring thins specific historical issue to our present lives and publicize it as a current issue. Therefore, the historical film not only allows current generation to remind to history but also to provide an opportunity to publicize the important issues of social structure in the present society.

Continuous provocation of Japanese government to a Dokdo issue and Agreement on Fisheries between the Republic of Korea and Japan evokes a rage and resistance to whole nation in South Korea. In view of mass culture, Japanese Rightists cartoonists, Kobayashi Yoshinori and Yamano Syarin show distorted history in their works. Therefore the consideration of the birth of the Japanese right-wing cartoon is needed in historical, social and cultural viewpoints. First, the actual condition and historical background of Japanese Rightist will be showed. Second, a new Japanese history textbook which was written by right-wing organizations and Yasukuni-jinja will be discussed objectively. Finally, the representative of Japanese right-wing cartoons, and by Kobayashi Yoshinori and Yamano Syarin about historical distortion will be analyzed carefully. In this dissertation, through the factual analysis of cartoons, in opposition to a prejudice and distortion about Korean history of Japanese Rightist, cartoonists' precise and academic posture is proposed.

The purpose of this article is to review the historical media and reenactment activity which is used in history education. Especially, teachers are very interested in how to develop the interest of the students in class. In this article, we review the characters of the reenactment activity as well as the drama and film. The definition of the reenactment activity is to act like a historical persons. 'Reenactment activity' is not familiar to us in Korea but it is very famous to the students and the teachers who want to re-act the historical life. Reenactment actvitiy is more efficient than movie because doing reenactment is much cheeper than making film.
