Sensor Failure Detection and Accommodation Based on Neural Networks (신경회로망을 이용한 센서 고장진단 및 극복)

  • This paper presents a neural networks based approach for the problem of sensor failure detection and accommodation for ship without physical redundancy in the sensors. The designed model consists of two neural networks. The first neural network is responsible for the failure detection and the second neural network is responsible for the failure identification and accommodation. On the yaw rate sensor of ship, simulation results indicates that the proposed method can be useful as failure detector and sensor estimator.

  • It is well-known that the redundancy can be exploited to avoid the singular regions of the redundant manipulator by increasing the manipulability. The method, however, requires exprecessive energy and gives rather large tracking errors since the manipulability is increased repidly so that the manipulator avoid the singular region quickly. In this paper, a new method is proposed in which the increasing speed of the manipulability is confined to a certain bound. Therefore, in the proposed method, the movement energy and the tracking errors are reduced. The computer simulation studies are performed to show the validity of the method.

  • 본 논문에서는 선진 제품의 신뢰성 수준과 국산 제품의 신뢰성 수준 비교 결과를 정량적으로 표시하기 위한 신뢰성지수를 개발하여 제안하였다 본 연구에서 제안한 신뢰성지수는 가장 우수한 제품의 신뢰성수준과 비교하고자 하는 제품의 신뢰성 수준을 점수화한 신뢰성점수의 비로서 나타낸다. 이 때 신뢰성점수는 제품 초기 특성값 산포, 환경시험 후의 특성변화율, 제품 설계 여유도, 제품 수명 또는 고장률의 4가지 항목을 고려하여 미리 정한 점수 산출 기준을 통하여 산출한다. 제안한 신뢰성지수의 적용방법에 대한 이해를 돕기 위하여 구체적인 적용례도 함께 제시하였다.

Comparison of Safety Margin of Shallow Foundation on Weathered Soil Layer According to Design Methods (설계법에 따른 풍화토 지반 얕은기초의 안전여유 비교)

  • In this paper bearing capacity and safety margin of shallow foundation on weathered soil ground against shear failure by using current design method of allowable stress design (ASD), load resistance factor design (LRFD) based on reliability analysis and partial safety factor design (PSFD) in Eurocode were estimated and compared to each other. Results of the plate loading test used in construction and design were collected and analysis of probability statistics on soil parameters affecting the bearing capacity of shallow foundation was performed to quantify the uncertainty of them and to investigate the resistance bias factor and covalence of ultimate bearing capacity. For the typical sections of shallow foundation in domestic field as examples, reliability index was obtained by reliability analysis (FORM) and the sensitivity analysis on soil parameters of probability variables was performed to investigate the effect of probability variable on shear failure. From stability analysis for these sections by ASD, LRFD with the target reiability index corresponding to the safety factor used in ASD and PSDF, safety margins were estimated respectively and compared.

Effects of Cooking, Reheating Methods and Storage Conditions on the Thiamin Content in ′Nuhbiani′ (조리 방법 및 저장 조건이 ′너비아니′의 티아민 보유량에 미치는 영향)

  • The changes in thiamin content of an experimental product, 'Nuhbiani' were measured at the end of the process of simulated home prepared precook/storage/reheat system. The retention of thiamin in Nuhbiani after reheating by pan or microwave were compared. Statistical analyses indicated that there were no significant differences in thiamin contents due to the method of precooking and reheating. However, there were significant thiamin losses due to the storage period but no differences between the storage conditions. There were significant thiamin losses after 7 days of refrigeration (p < .05). The points causing significant thiamin losses in food product flow were precooking and 7 days of refrigerated storage.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a design and operation technical guideline for meeting the appropriate design criteria to bio-gasification facilities treating organic wastes. Based on the results obtained during the field surveys, the overall design and operation guidelines for bio-gasification facilities, monitoring items, cycle and commissioning period were presented. According to the flow of anaerobic digestion process, Various design factors for bio-gasification facilities were proposed in this study. When designing the initial anaerobic digestion capacity, 10 ~ 30% of the treatment capacity was applied considering the discharge characteristics by the incoming organic wastes. At the import storage hopper process, limit concentration of transporting organic wastes was limited to TS 10 % or less, and limit concentration of inhibiting factor was suggested in operation of anaerobic digester. In addition, organic loading rate (OLR) was shown as $1.5{\sim}4.0kgVS_{in}/(m^3{\cdot}day)$ for the combined bio-gasification facilities of animal manure and food wastes. Desulfurization and dehumidification methods of biogas from anaerobic digestor and proper periods of liquifization tank were suggested in design guideline. It is recommended that the operating parameters of the biogasification facilities to be maintained at pH (acid fermentation tank 4.5~6.5, methane fermentation tank 6.0~8.0), temperature variation range within $2^{\circ}C$, management of volatile fatty acid and ammonia concentration less than 3,000 mg/L, respectively.

  • In this study, we propose a new method for evaluating the vulnerability to flooding river levee. The purpose of this study is to examine how to apply the factors necessary to calculate the proposed levee flood index. To do this, the safety flood level was analyzed by applying the planned flood level. The levee flood vulnerabilities index was calculated based on seven factors such as freeboard, levee crown section, levee section ratio, safety factor, raised spot length, Seepage line change degree, and critical velocity. The Levee Flood Vulnerability Index(LFVI) of the levee developed in this study was used to levee vulnerability analysis. The results of the analysis were divided into 1 to 7 grades using Levee Flood Vulnerability Index(LFVI).

Stability Analysis of Three-Loop Autopilot with respect to IMU Position and C.G Variation Rate in Guided Missiles (IMU 탑재 위치 및 유도탄 무게 중심 변화율에 따른 Three-Loop 조종 알고리듬 안정성 분석)

  • Three-Loop autopilot is generally used for the acceleration control of guided missiles. Because the acceleration command to the three-loop autopilot is given as values at the center of gravity, feedback information of IMU should be obtained at the same position. However, the position of IMU might not be located at the center of gravity due to the sub-system assignment. This paper presents the stability analysis of three-loop autopilot with respect to the arbitrary position of IMU and variation rate of center of gravity. Gain and phase margins are calculated for several trim points for general anti-tank missiles.

Development of no-overtaking Model and Analysis of fundamentals of traffic flow Characteristics on Two-Lane Highways (양방향 2차선 도로의 추월금지 모형개발 및 교통류특성 분석 연구)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 2차선 지방지역도로에서 사용 가능한 No-overtaking Model의 개발과 현장조사를 통한 우리 나라 2차선 도로의 교통류 특성의 규명이었다. No-overtaking Model을 개발하기 위해서는 이미 개발된 바 있는 Slow moving Vehicle Model의 이론적 틀을 근거로 하되 중차량을 따라 피동적으로 주행하는 일련의 차량군에 또 다른 중차량이 포함된 경우에 대해서도 분석이 가능하도록 개선했다. 경기도 일원에서 약 3 개월동안 조사한 현장조사에서 나타난 우리 나라 2차선 도로의 교통류 특성은 첫째로, 2차 선 교통류의 주요 MOE(Measures of Effectiveness)들은 교통량에 의해 비교적 정확하게 산정 가능하다는 것과, 둘째로 우리 나라의 주요 MOE값은 외국의 경우와 비교했을 때 대 체로 유사한 결가를 보이나 평균속도의 경우 최소 5km/h 최대 15km/h 정도와 차이를 나타 낸다는 것, 그리고 셋째로 차량군의 선두차량 85%의 경우 그 속도는 100.4km/h이고 추월 에 필요한 반대편차선 차량과의 여유 거리는 754.8m이라는 것이었다. 향후 연구과제로는 중차량의 속도분포를 확률 분포식으로 나타내는 경우의 지체시간, 추월율 등의 2차선 교통 류 MOE를 산출할 수 있는 Model을 개발하는 것이며 현재 5분 교통량으로 표시된 교통량 을 보다 많은 현장수집 자료를 통해 1시간 단위의 교통량을 기준으로 하여 MOE를 산정해 보는 것이다.

Throughput Analysis of Right Turn Shared Lane with Lane Width Change (차로폭에 따른 우회전 공용차로의 통과교통량분석)

  • This study is about throughput analysis of the shared right turn lane at signalized intersection with lane width change. It is expected that the increased width of the right turn shared lane causes to increase the volume of right turn on red(RTOR) In this study, the throughput computation is designed to take into account the lost time which is caused by the blocked right turn due to the stop of through traffic. The saturation flow rate of right turn using the rest of lane after through traffic stops is included as well. Results show that the different RTOR volume levels due to the various shared lane width leads to a difference in throughput. For the shared right turn lanes. throughput capacity for various lane widths is bigger than that of the KHCM as much as from 1.1 to 2.1 times.
