  • The small/medium sized firms have big part and affect a national economy in the world. They underestimated in market until now make big change by standing out in international market. The Korean small/medium sized firms also get out of a domestic market stagnated and try to make inroads into international market. Especially, the Korean small/medium sized construction firms have very huge potentiality in international market globalized rapidly. But, the role of these firms actually have been insignificant in international market until now. This paper tried to present the alternatives to revitalize the overseas expansion of the Korean small/medium sized construction firms which have the potentiality. It analyzed the international contract trend of advanced construction firms to classify each group by using ENR data from 1996 to 2005, and presented the new standard of the Korean small/medium sized construction firms according to international contract portion, data, and legal bases. Finally, it used the expert interview method to refer to the revitalization of making inroads into international market.

Effect of Retailer Credibility on Attitude to Private Brand and Product Purchase Intention (유통업체 신뢰성이 유통업체 브랜드(PB)에 대한 태도 및 PB상품의 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The market share of private brand(PB) is growing at a rapid pace. Based on the previous studies, consumers pay more attention to the extrinsic cues when they buy the PB products. This paper proposes an integrated model to examine how the retailer credibility which is one of the important extrinsic cues affects perceived quality variation, value consciousness, attitude to PB, and PB product purchase intention. Also, familiarity with PB is regarded as a moderating variable that can interact with retailer credibility. An analysis of 199 useable questionnaires found that retailer credibility has a significant impact on the attitude to PB, directly and indirectly. Further, the moderating effect of familiarity with PB was significant. For this, we interpret that when consumers are more familiar with the private brand, they tend to have few bias toward the quality of PB. These findings provide several effective strategies for the development of PB, such that retailers must improve consumer's familiarity with PB via various promotions like free samples or testing events. Academic and practical implications of the study findings and future research directions are also discussed.

  • 2022년 1월 「중대재해처벌법」시행 후 기업에서 경영책임자로써의 안전보건확보 의무에 대한 책임이 강화되어 건설산업에서는 안전보건관리체계를 구축하고 이행 확인 활동을 통하여 중대산업재해예방에 노력하고 있다. 동법 시행령 제4조 제9호에서 요구하는 안전보건 역량을 평가하여 업체를 선정할 수 있는 기준과 절차 즉'적격수급업체 선정체계'가 중대산업재해 예방에 핵심과제라 할 수 있으며, 이를 위해서는 안전보건수준을 평가할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 이에 건설업에서 민간기업 스스로 적격수급업체 선정을 위한 안전보건수준평가를 운영하고 있으나 전문성과 신뢰성이 부족하다. 또한 민간 건설업체마다 안전보건수준 평가방법이 명확하지 않고 표준화 되어 있지 않아 하수급업체에서는 입찰마다 평가 수검을 받고 있어 효율성이 낮게 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 선행연구 고찰과 공공기관에서 운영되고 있는 건설업 원도급사에 관한 안전 평가제도 실태조사를 통하여 하수급업체 안전보건수준평가 인증제도의 필요성을 확인하였다. 이에 건설업의 적격수급업체 선정체계 운영이 필요한 표준화된 안전보건수준 인증제도 도입 방안을 제시하기 위함이다.

Spatial Characteristics of the Relationships Between Urban Large Retailer and Agro-food Suppliers (대도시 대형유통업체의 농식품 구매 및 거래관계의 공간적 특성)

  • The purpose of this paper is to find out the spatial characteristics of the relationships between urban large retailer and agro-food suppliers. For this purpose, Dong-A department store which is one of the most famous local distribution company was selected as a case study firm. The case study company has its own systematic food supply chain in the process of food procurement, selection, delivery, and marketing. It mainly does businesses in Daegu and Gyeongbuk province, but also procures and delivers products all around the country. Customers' recent concerns over the freshness and the period of circulation made the company use the local physical distribution system that it purchases products in nearby areas and perform procurement and delivery in nationwide areas. It is identified that trading types are significantly different by locations of suppliers in that more thin 40$\%$ of suppliers in Daegu are food manufacturers, whereas suppliers in Gyeongbuk mainly belong to the ones in fresh food production areas. In terms of durability of the retailer-supplier relation, the case study firm has relatively long-term relationship with suppliers, maintaining the relationship fer over 5 years in more than 70$\%$ of suppliers.

A Study on the Locational Patterns of Wedding Shops in Seoul : A Case of Gangnam-Gu (서울시 웨딩 업체의 입지 패턴에 관한 연구 : 강남구를 사례로)

  • Wedding shops, which had been located in Jung-gu, Jongno-gu, Seodaemun-gu, and Mapo-gu in 1990, have been shown a rapid change in light of location since the year of 1995. Thus, most of shops are concentrated on Gangnam-gu in 2010. Wedding dress shops in Gangnam-gu were distributed between Kanglim Church and Apgujeong station in the early 1990s, and then moved gradually to Dosan park and then to Cheongdam-dong after passing through Hakdong intersection. Luxury image in Cheongdam-dong was the main reason for integration of wedding businesses. This intergration of shops showed the peak at the Cheongdam intersection. A motive of having come to start business in Cheongdam-dong was selected the high awareness and image in district, and was taken the ease for business-based cooperation and connection. High rent and inconvenient transportation were reasons for dissatisfaction. The business-based cooperation and connection were mostly formed through a consulting company. Level and reputation of relevant shops were important elements. Even the connective and associative shops are located the most in Cheongdam-dong followed by Nonhyeon-dong, Shinsa Apgujeong-dong in order. The cluster relationship was most noticeable in wedding studio, wedding dress, wedding consulting, and hanbok(Korean traditional clothes) business. Frequency of vertical cluster was indicated to be more than horizontal cluster. User behavior of wedding businesses in Seoul has been collecting wedding information through internet and wedding consulting business.

  • The growth of market share of distributors' brands, also known as private brand, has accelerated in recent years. Sales volumes and market shares of private brands, as well as their appeal to consumers have steadily increased. Carrying private brands comes with numerous advantages, one of which is the relatively high gross margin, which can be 20 - 30% higher compared to manufacturer brands. Recently, many big discount stores are expanding private brand for higher sales volume. Thus, private brands play an important strategic role for retailers. The tendency of growing private brand will decrease sales revenue of both channel members, distributer and manufacturer. The disadvantage for manufacturer is obvious, especially for the manufactures who not only produce their own brands but also retailer brands competing against their own. There are also possible to weaken the brand awareness of manufacturer's brand. The purpose of this study is to explore the perception gap between retailers and manufacturers. we investigated to identify how consumers perceive private brand. In other to study the impact of private brands on distributors, we surveyed the actual condition of private brand and perception towards private brands among consumers, retailers and manufacturers. Based these analysis, we recommended proposal for private brand policies as follows: First, it need to correct imbalance between large retailer and manufacturer. second, we suggest "win-win growth policy", Third, by registering trademark right of national brand, manufacturers have a way of protecting their brands. Forth, manufacturers are encouraged to produce PNB(Private National Brand).

Consideration on Precedence of Crime Occurrence on Stock Price of Security Company (범죄 발생의 경비업체 주가에 대한 선행성 고찰)

  • The purpose of this study is to derive an optimal regression model for occurrences of major crimes on a security company's stock price through identifying precedence of the occurrences of major crimes on the security company's stock price, relationship between the occurrences of major crimes and the security company's stock price. Followings are the results of this study. First, the occurrences of murder crime, robbery crime, rape crime, theft crime move along the security company's monthly stock price simultaneously, and the occurrence of violence crime precedes 6 months to the security company's monthly stock price depending on the results of cross-correlation analysis of precedence of occurrences of major crimes, such as murder crime, robbery crime, rape crime, theft crime, violence crime on the security company's monthly stock price. Second, the explanation of the occurrences of robbery crime, rape crime, theft crime on the security company's monthly stock price is 61.7%($R^2$ = .617) excluding murder crime, violence crime depending on the results of multiple regression analysis(stepwise method) by putting the occurrences of major crimes, such as murder crime, robbery crime, rape crime, theft crime, violence crime into the security company's monthly stock price.

Antecedents of Attitudes Toward Private Brands from the Perspective of Image Congruence (이미지 일치성 관점에서 본 유통업체 브랜드에 대한 태도 형성의 선행 변수들)

  • Despite importance of private brands in the retail industry, not many studies have been performed on factors affecting consumers' attitude formation toward private brands. This study tries to understand attitude formation toward private brands from the perspective of image congruence. Focusing on three types of image congruence-image congruence between a private brand and a consumer's self, image congruence between a store and a product category used for a private brand, and image congruence between a store and a consumer's self - this study explores relationships and effects of these three types of image congruence on attitudes toward private brands. According to results, image congruence between a private brand and a consumer's self has the strongest effect among three types of image congruence. Image congruence between a store and a product category also has a significant positive effect on attitudes toward private brands. Effects of image congruence between a store and a consumer's self on attitudes toward private brands were opposite to the hypothesized direction, and explanations about the unexpected result are provided.

The Influence of Firm Trust and Salesperson Trust on Commitment and Relational Citizenship Behavior (기업간 거래에서 관계적 시민행동에 관한 연구)

  • The primary purpose of this research is to develop and test a model that explains the process of how trust in a supplier firm and salesperson through relational commitment influence buyer's positive and desirable behavior. In order to do so, we are empirically to examine how a supplier firm and salesperson trust can reinforce buyer's relational commitment leading to relational citizenship behavior using over 138 buying firms, Through structural equation modeling, we find that trust in a supplier firm and salesperson influence the relational commitment and relational commitment enhance relational citizenship behavior. However, trust in a supplier firm is unrelated to the buying firm's relational citizenship behavior whereas trust in salesperson has direct effect on relational citizenship behavior. Finally, we discuss several theoretical and practical implications, and suggest limitations for the research and future research issue.

  • Many foreign freight forwarders make inroads into domestic markets. Korean freight forwarders are not competitive on th domestic logistics area because of higher customer services by foreign freight forwarders in Korea. The purpose of this research is to analyze degree of satisfaction on customer services attributes of freight forwarders in Korea, and to strengthen the competitiveness of customer services by Korea freight forwarders in contrast to foreign investment freight forwarders in Korea. The results of the research could be summarized as follows.: When freight forwarders are selected, the most important customer service attributes have been ranked in order with 'the accuracy management of shipping order' , the reasonable offers of freight rate' and 'the quick arrangement of vessels' when freight forwarders are selected.
