Study Recognizing the Explosives Detection Service of Explosive Detection Dog Handlers (폭발물 탐지견 도수사들의 폭발물 탐지업무에 관한 인식 연구)

  • This study conducted a perfect detection of explosives by placing various devices and personnel in place of terrorist bomb detection in a situation that is difficult to detect and protect against the use of explosives not only in countries but also in civilians. The result is that the legal system applies, first, the obligation to introduce bomb-sniffing dogs for national critical and large civil facilities. Secondly, it introduces a certification system for bomb-sniffing dogs to verify their detection capabilities. Third, it is to introduce a system for fostering expert manpower to activate expert water supply companies that operate bomb-sniffing dogs.

Improvement of access re-review in archives : The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Cases (기록관에서의 공개재분류 제도 개선 방안 서울특별시교육청 사례 중심)

  • Access re-review is a process to reclassify the non-disclosure documents to open accessible documents, and it has to be performed in every five years. However, current procedures of the access re-review in many archives have not been properly working, due to the shortage of the available archivists for providing enough access re-review. Although many difficult situation for the re-review such as enormous amount of re-review documents and lack of archivists, access re-review was included in the administrative evaluation list, of which it makes the re-review for just evaluating process. In this study, the access re-review of Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, which have performed by external service companies as well as the other institutions' progresses were summarized for improving access re-review process. Although Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education processed 610,000 re-review with 100,000,000 won budget for 4 years, the project has been failed to get more budget support because of the claim for the budget efficiency. The other institutions also could not focus on the actual access re-review. Considering all the points, current access re-review process is clearly required to be improved.

The Impacts of Work Environment on the Job Satisfaction among the Landscape Architecture Workers in South Korea (조경분야 종사자들의 직무환경이 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this study was to empirical understanding on the impact of work environment on the job satisfaction among the landscape architecture workers through conduct survey. The results was found that the affecting factors of environment in landscape architecture workers were work environment, personal relationship, and job compensation on jab satisfaction, but were not affected between workload and job satisfaction (p<0.05). And this implied that personal relationship in job environment factors was critical factor to decide the levels of job satisfaction (${\beta}$ value 0.233) across the landscape architecture workers. The results guessed the factor that workload among the job satisfaction is or is not statistical significant in many research were because it depends on whether the task is passively recognized or positive recognized according to the job recognition situation. The results was guessed the fact that the affecting factors of the workload among the job satisfaction of landscape architecture workers is not statistical significant were because they have their works cut out for them, makes worthwhile if they thinks that were meaningful and feel have been growing capabilities and recognized that there is a social contribution, and feel the great sense of accomplishment of self-development and self-realization nevertheless they have much their's works.

A Subjectivity Study on the Leadership Types of the Executive Chef Recognized by Hotel Cook (호텔조리사가 인식한 총주방장의 리더십 유형에 대한 주관성 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze hotel chefs' perceptions of each type of leadership, to help improve teamwork and work efficiency through the improvement of job satisfaction and work skills by hotel cooks and the impact of leadership on human relations. In particular, by conducting Q methodological analysis on the subjectivity of the total chef's leadership type recognized by hotel chefs in vertical command systems according to the nature of the work in the hotel company. The analysis of leadership types showed that Type 1 (N=4): both transformative and servent leadership is a combination of preferences or non-preferences, Type 2 (N=4): transformative leadership preference, Type 3 (N=3): both transformative and non-preferred leadership. The leadership of the executive chef, recognized by hotel chefs, is believed to prefer leadership that is considered for individual situations that match each other's experiences and work skills (ability values) rather than uniform leadership such as transformational or servent leadership. Along with the theoretical discussion of Q methodology, the leadership type is explained, and based on the subjectivity research analysis method of Q analysis, the subjectivity of hotel chefs will be identified in various ways and new leadership will be presented.

  • This study surveyed the perception of university students about employment in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises(SME) in the Chungbuk area to prepare improvement measures. In particular, the data were collected in descriptive questions along with the existing survey methods, and the perception of SME and decent work was identified using text-mining. As a result of the analysis, there are positive perceptions of jobs at SME such as various work experiences and low job competition rates, while there are generally many negative perceptions in pay, work and welfare. However, as a result of co-occurrence network analysis of responses to decent jobs, 'Information' was derived as a keyword. Currently, college students' negative perception of SME is affected by the lack of sufficient information, which needs to be improved first. To solve this problem, it was proposed to establish and operate a platform that can provide information on employment of SME and select necessary personnel.

  • The critical strength of outsourcing system is to enhance the competitive power of the company by applying the centralization of management resources. This strategy has been used in library management and become the general method. The libraries in the U.S. stated to adopt the outsourcing system to organize the information of library works. Those in Korea also commence to use this method later on. The main reason of outsourcing the cataloging and classification works in the library was to reduce the budget; however, result were diverse. The efficiency on performing works was positive while the quality of bibliographic record was not guaranteed. Regardless of various opinions, The National Library of Korea decided to apply the method to cataloging and classification considered as a major work in maintaining library. This study is to analyze and criticize the decision made by The National Library of Korea.

  • This research paper surveyed the awareness of general administrative officials who oversee the disaster management and firefighting officials who take part in emergency rescue work in local governments on disaster response exercises. The result of the survey showed that both officials acknowledged the need of the equipment used in disaster response exercises, securing the budgets for exercises, establishing a network among related institutions, reflecting actual conditions and local characteristics to the exercises, reflecting the result of exercise evaluations to the disaster response manual and next exercises, and securing a command communication system required for exercises.

  • 최근 멘토링제도(Mentoring Program)가 신입사원 교육의 일환으로 기업들 사이에 확산되고 있는 추세이다. '후견인, 벗바리, 빅브라더, 가디언' 등이 그 대표적인 예라 하겠다. 이러한 멘토링 제도의 확산은 선배 사원의 회사 생활에 대한 적절한 조언과 업무 스킬 및 자식교육이 신입사원들의 회사 및 업무에 대한 신속한 적응에 유용하다는 인식에 기반하고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 한 예로, 작년 인터넷 채용 정보 업체의 잡링크가 160여 개 기업을 조사한 바에 따르며, 47.5%는 멘토링제도를 활용하고 있다고 응답하였으며, 42.5%는 적극 검토중이거나 도입할 예정이라고 한다. 그러나 멘토링은 신입사원에게만 국한되어 활용되는 것이 아니다. 기업이 직면하고 있는 상황에 맞게 다양한 목적으로 여러 구성원들에게 활용될 수 있다. 멘토링제도의 개념과 목적, 그리고 실행상의 핵심 포인트에 대해 살펴보자.

  • 지금까지의 전자정부 구축은 국민의 편의성과 정부업무의 효율성에 맞추어져 왔으며, 이는 경제적 사회적 흐름에 따른 IT서비스가 국민과 정부가 실제로 원하는 것을 찾아 지원하고 선도하여 줄 수 있도록 하는 것이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 엄밀히 말하면 우리의 전자정부 과제는 남한에 국한된 것이다. 헌법에 의하면 남한과 북한은 하나의 국가인데도 불구하고, 남북한 간의 한계성을 의식적으로든 무의식적으로든 인식하여, 남한으로 테두리를 정하고 u-Korea를 실행하고 있는 것이다. 이러한 상황에서 통일부가 운영하고 있는 남북교류협력시스템(http://inter-korea.unikorea.go.kr)를 바탕으로 남북교류협력을 위한 실질적인 프로세스 개선과 정보화 전략을 새롭게 수립하기 위하여 현황과 방향성에 대해 연구하여, 향후 남북통일을 위한 초석이 될 수 있는 IT서비스로서, 또한 남북간의 특이사항을 반영한 시스템으로 기타 전자정부 과제들의 통일 이후의 모습이라는 거시적인 미래과제를 풀 수 있는 한 도구로 본 연구가 활용되고자 한다.

An Empirical Analysis of the Influence of Connectivity and Context-Awareness Functions of Ubiquitous Decision Support System (UDSS) on User's Decision Making Process (유비쿼터스 의사결정지원시스템의 접속성과 상황인식기능이 사용자 의사결정과정에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study is aimed at proposing a new approach to designing UDSS (Ubiquitous Decision Support System) which allows context-awareness and connectivity. In the previous studies, the need to design UDSS and analyze its performance empirically was raised. However, due to the complexity of empirical approaches, there is no study attempting to tackle this research issue so far. To fill this research void, this study proposes a Mobile Delivery System (MDS) as a form of UDSS, empirically analyzing how users perceive its context-awareness and connectivity functions. Especially, to add more rigor to the proposed approach to know how much it works well in the decision-making contexts, we considered three decision making phases (intelligence, design, choice) in the research model. With the valid questionnaires collected from 340 users of the MDS, we induced statistically proven results showing that both context-awareness and connectivity of the proposed UDSS (or MDS) influence the decision making steps positively and then contribute to improving the decision making quality.
