Effects of Positive Affect and Negative Affect on the Life Satisfaction: The Role of Work Self-Efficacy and Work Meaningfulness (긍정 정서와 부정 정서가 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향: 업무 효능감과 업무 의미감의 역할을 중심으로)

  • In this paper, we examined the effect of positive affect and negative affect on the life satisfaction in the workplace. Also, this study focused on an empirical test of the role of work self-efficacy and work meaningfulness in the subjective well-being of office worker. To achieve this purpose, we suggested a research model consisting of factors such as work self-efficacy, work meaningfulness, positive affect, negative affect, life satisfaction. Data was collected using the survey method, and analyzed using structural equation model. According to PLS analysis, first, lower negative affect was associated with higher life satisfaction. Secondly, work meaningfulness was a very important predictor for the subjective well-being of office worker.

A Study on Development of Private Security Service: -Focused on event security service- (민간경비업무의 발전방안 연구: 이벤트 경비업무를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the development methods of private security services based on the problems that field experts in charge of event security are currently aware of. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, we conducted interviews with 4 professors in relevant fields and 6 field experts with more than 10 years experience and analyzed the data. They suggested the development of private security services as follows. First, education that is related to event security work is necessary. Second, training should be conducted in response to audience and audience complaints. Third, service-related training is required. Fourth, in the Security Law, the provisions of the collective complaints field should be adjusted to the reality. Fifth, improving poor working conditions. Sixth, it is necessary to educate to develop responsibility and sense of mission.

  • China's rapid economic growth is continuous but the country still has a long way to become a center for creativity. Leaders have no idea how to encourage their employees to work more efficiently in Chinese companies. Meanwhile the majority of employees are not fully engaged in their work, sometimes they think their work is not meaningful. The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between transformational leadership and employee creativity, through perceptions of meaning in work and work engagement among employees working in XunLei Networking Technology Corporation. 140 valid data were collected and were analysed using SPSS and AMOS. Results showed that transformational leadership has a positive and significant influence on meaning in work and work engagement. Meaning in work has a significant effect on work engagement, and work engagement has a significant influence on employee creativity. This study provides both academic and practical implications about transformational leadership and employee creativity through meaning in work and work engagement.

A Study on the Investigation into Obstacles in Construction Budget Estimating (건설기업 실행예산 편성업무의 애로요인 분석에 관한 연구)

  • Under the circumstances where the profitability has become a more critical issue for general contractors, the objective of the study is to identify and discuss obstacles and their key characteristics in the construction budget estimating. Through the questionnaire survey and interviews with experienced estimators of general contractors, the study identified 18 obstacles by 6 groups. It discussed that although various obstacles exist, there are key obstacles to which general contractors should pay attention for the realistic construction budget estimating. In particular, improving subcontractors' estimating competency and incubating estimating experts are identified as the key issues to overcome obstacles in the construction budget estimating.

A Study on the Characteristics of Architectural Publicity for Stairs in the Office Buildings (업무공간계단의 공공적 특성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the importance of stairs and to provide information on exploring desirable directions for stairs' designs by analyzing the architectural publicity characteristics for stairs in the office buildings. The research method was as follows: 1) Preparatory study and literature reviews to extract the elements of architectural publicity 2) Based on the elements of architectural publicity, each stairs in the office building was evaluated. The results of the case study show that the stairs of office building built since 2000 were characterized by improved architectural publicity. It was concluded that the stairs in an office building should accommodate and provide architectural publicity characteristics such as approachability, openness and amenity for enhancing the interactive atmosphere within the people in the office building.

  • 다양한 정보기기들이 출현함에 따라 UI가 제품성공의 중요한 요인으로 부각되고 있다. 이러한 중요성을 인식하고 Microsoft, Nokia, HP, Motorola 등 해외 선진기업들은 UI 연구에 주력해 오고 있다. 국내 기업들도 2000년대부터 본격적으로 기업 내 UI팀을 구성하기 시작하여 점점 그 규모와 역할을 확대해 나가고 있지만, 개발시간의 촉박함, 체계적인 방법론에 대한 인식 부족, 전문인력부족 등으로 인해 UI업무가 효율적으로 진행되지 못하고 있다. 선진기업과 경쟁하기 위해서는 사용자 경험 측면에 대한 투자가 시급하며, 국내 UI전문가의 역할이 크게 요구되고 있는 시점이다. 따라서 기업 내 UI업무의 현주소를 파악하고 통합적인 고객체험 디자인을 목표로 하는 UI팀의 발전방향을 모색하고, 비전을 제시하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 삼는다. 본 연구의 방법으로는 문헌조사와 선행연구를 통해 UI, UX의 개념과 UI관련 조직의 구성과 역할을 살펴보고, 국내 모바일 및 전자제품 제조사, 유무선 인터넷을 기반으로 하는 컨텐츠 서비스 업체의 UI실무자를 대상으로 한 인터뷰와 설문조사를 통해 현재 기업 내 UI팀의 현황(조직구성, 업무의 범위 및 프로세스, 조직 내에서의 위상 등)을 분석하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 문제점들이 도출되었다. 첫째 조직구조상의 문제점, 둘째 업무 프로세스상의 문제점, 셋째 전문인력의 부족 등이다. 본 연구를 통해 기업 내 UI팀의 역할과 위상이 그 중요도에 비해 미약한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 향후 통합적인 UX디자인을 접목한 미래 지향적 UI팀으로써 전체 프로세스 과정에 비전을 제시하기 위해서는 다양한 분야의 전문가들로 구성된 독립적 UI팀 구성이 이루어져야 한다. 또한 기획, 디자인, 개발 등 타 부서와의 보다 적극적인 업무교류를 통해 사용자의 입장을 대변하는 역할을 해야 한다.

  • The 10,876 school buildings(year 2006) including elementary, junior high and high schools have been operated and the number of school buildings will increase with BTL(Build Transfer Lease) projects. However, as population is expected to decrease rapidly with low birth rate, it needs to pay more attention to managing existing school buildings. The present maintenance and management system is not being operating with regular plans but with making repairs when if problem happens. Therefore, in this study I will propose a new maintenance and management system which will improve the process of maintenance and management works and reflect the needs of related officials in charge of with analyzing a present maintenance and management system through making research into documents and questionnaires. It enables to simplify maintenance and management work, to manage budget with transparency and to make better communication between each work so that it promotes efficiency of maintenance and management work.

  • This study has the primary purpose to understanding the present situation through research on the actual condition about human resource outsourcing in the stocks and KOSDAQ enterprises, and would give the basic and useful data to develop human resource outsourcing. Data were collected from 1,500 charge of human resource management in the stocks and KOSDAQ enterprises which introduced or will be introduced human resource outsourcing. Frequencies, cross-tabs and independent-samples t-test were used to understanding the actual condition. Research findings are summarized as follows. First, as the introduction area of human resource outsourcing following training and development on the list were personnel information system, recruitment and selection. Second, tasks that transfer outsourcing supply firms owing to human resource outsourcing were common and typical operation function than complex and specific planning function.
