The purposes of this study were to review the necessity and establish the direction of verbally gifted education. To fulfil purposes, the following studies were carried out: (1) The necessity of verbally gifted education was reviewed based on the social, educational and personal aspect. (2) The concept of verbal talent was reviewed. According to the research of verbal talent, we called a person who has a high level of language intelligence a verbal talent. Or verbal talent can also be a person who accomplished a high level in anyone area among reading, writing, hearing, speaking, and foreign language. (3) The present condition and research states of verbally gifted education were analyzed. (4) The direction of verbally gifted education were proposed.

What has been rapidly changed and developed is not only technology, but also language and culture, of which the diverse consensus has been speedily formed between generations and spread throughout all the social grades. Therefore, Neologisms need to be understood as part of the cultural history that is created at each period. We cannot keep neologisms, initially formed among the youths, from spreading all over the generations, not just for their enjoyment, convenience, and familiarity, but more for the fact that they are impossible to be replaced in use. Another reason is that a community is created according to language. The youths would like to make distance from the existing community by building an invisible wall of new language. This paper is intended to deal with neologisms, centered on visual pun. The characteristics of the Neologisms are the result of the tendency of the younger generation to avoid interference and to enjoy adding ingenuity to the existing order.That is why in all ages Neologisms are created, and although they differ in form, the principles of new word generation are old. We will also consider the historical characteristics of neologism in this paper.

본 논문에서는 한국사회에서 미래 100년 동안 사회 경제 분야의 가장 중요한 핵심 문제로 대두되어질 다문화가정과 관련하여 IT와 융합된 전자책 시스템을 기반으로 자녀교육에 대한 해결책을 제시하기 위하여 7개국의 유명한 전래동화책을 수집, 분석하고 번역하여 다국어 전자책으로 제작하고 서적, CD, 웹사이트, 스마트폰을 이용하여 세계 각국의 다문화가정 교육모델로 제시하고 서비스한다. 구현되어진 다국어 전자책 모델 시스템은 국내 다문화가정 어린이의 이중 언어 교육을 통하여 부모와 연계된 다문화 시대의 문화적 언어적 문제를 해결하며 다문화 어린이들의 글로벌 마인드 함양 및 다문화를 기반으로 한 사회적 통합을 추진하며 세계 최고수준의 유비쿼터스 인터넷 인프라 기반 서비스를 통하여 전자책 서비스의 글로벌 표준을 제시한다. 다국어 전자책 모델 시스템은 국가지원과제 신청을 통하여 지역사회를 통한 복지 분야 행정시스템을 기반으로 무료 보급하며 2011년 독일에서 개최되는 국제도서전에 출품하여 글로벌 보급 활성화와 교육성과에 대한 발표를 추진한다.

소크라테스는 진리를 언어 밖에서 찾으라고 말했다. 플라톤은 언어를 어떤 모방의 형식이라고 생각했다. 미메시스 개념에 기초한 언어관 때문이다. 따라서 그들에 의하면, 책이란 진리의 시체 통조림이자 영혼을 망쳐놓는 흉물에 불과하다. 그러나 아리스토텔레스의 "오르가논"은 언어를 상징의 형식으로 이해하면서 책을 진리의 잔치마당으로 여긴다.

남북한 사이에 언어이질화 현상이 나타나는 것은 이상한 일이 아니다. 언어의 갈라짐은 다른 공간과 시간을 요건으로 이루어지기 때문이다. 그런데, 남북언어의 차이는 이러한 일반적인 요인에서가 아니라 다른 특별한 요인에서 비롯된 것이 대부분이라는 데 문제가 있다.

It would have a trouble to communicate mathematically without an appropriate use of mathematical language. Therefore it is necessary to form mathematics classroom culture to encourage students to use mathematical language precisely. A four-month teaching experiment in a 4th grade mathematics class was conducted focused the accurate use of mathematical language. In the course of the teaching experiment, children became more careful to use their language precisely. The use of demonstrative pronouns such as this or that as well as the use of inaccurate or wrong expressions was diminished. Children became to use much more mathematical symbols and terms instead of their imprecise expressions. The result of the experiment suggests that the culture that encourage students to use mathematical language precisely can be formed in elementary mathematics classroom.

In this paper, we try to criticize a bias that liberal arts are not practical. First, I introduce holistic models of knowledge and constructivism in education. Second, I suggest 'linguistic turn' as another noticeable phenomenon. Language is an element of culture, but a priviledged one because culture, in itself, is linguistic. So culture is a sort of a text. We can see that liberal arts or humanities to deal with texts, contexts and languages can have an important role to read, understand and construct a world. So the rediscovery of the traditional model of the education of liberal arts like processes of graduating studies of liberal arts or humanities, is relevant to a new 'practical' model of reading and leading recent social transformations. An important point is academic contribution. And current situation called 'Knowledge-Based Society' also supports my point in another way. The situation of rapidly changing knowledge requires an education of problem-solving ability by unifying and reconstructing knowledge supporting with constructivism in education rather than the cramming system of education.

This study aims to investigate language society cultural aspects in a community, examining and comparing linguistic errors of English signboards (ES) at home and abroad. The data comprised the ES in 5 cities, Korea and in Paris, France. The findings showed that the errors of the ES in Korea reached to 39.2%, whereas those in Paris contained 24.7%. In Korea, ES and errors were the most in Myeong-dong area. In Paris, the most ES were in the area of Eiffel Tower, but the most linguistic errors appeared at the 3, 4 districts of Marais. Those errors belonged to most in the business of drink, food, and clothes in turn in Korea, while this was the case in the field of clothes, food, and culture in Paris. The frequent errors were classified into semantic, morphologic, and syntactic aspects in turn. The regulations on signboards of foreign languages existed but were not abided by in the both countries. Thus, more practical and reasonable devices and policies are required to establish a more harmonious atmosphere of the ES.

In this paper, through conducting a survey from 547 male and female high school students in Busan, we found their favorite computer games are about five and the highest linguistic problem in on-line computer games was vulgar languages. Most of respondents thought that the vulgar languages on the on-line games were serious and said that we have experienced the vulgar languages before high school. Therefore, in this paper, we suggest it is necessary to prepare a countermeasure system about adolescents' vulgar languages on the on-line games and for adolescents to take etiquette lessons on the on-line games from either the primary school or before then.

Our society is moving from a monocultural society of a homogeneous nation to a multi-cultural society as a lot of foreigners are flowing into the country with the advent of globalization and with an effort to secure labor force for economic growth. So, multi-cultural families composed of members using different languages spring up everywhere, but the children in these multi-cultural families have difficulties in acquiring Korean language and are socially maladjusted because of the bilingual environment. The goal of this study is to help enhance the language capabilities and socialities of the children in the multi-cultural families through fine arts using artistic methods. The study method was to analyze the high-quality effects of the fine arts with the theoretical research materials and theses showing the real conditions of the multi-cultural families. And I proposed some ways to improve the linguistic abilities and socialities of the children in the multi-cultural families with the utilization of fine arts. As a result, Firstly, An active use of the bilingual instructors and artistic multimedia is educationally necessary to overcome language restrictions. Secondly, Various ways to utilize fine arts are necessary to improve learning abilities of other subjects. Thirdly, Artistic plays and experiential activities need to be largely applied to education to enhance the abilities of emotional control and socialities. Finally, Integrated culture and art education is essential not only for creativities and socialities but also for personalities for community life.
