냉방에너지에 대한 분석과 전기냉방에 대한 가스냉방의 경제성 및 향후 가스냉방의 보급전망을 기술하였다. 가스냉방 부하 가스냉방은 80년대 중반부터 하절기 최대 전력수요 억제의 일환으로 보급이 본격화되기 시작했으며 가스 흡수식 냉방기 및 냉온수기의 공급으로 대규모 건축물의 냉난방에 대한 개념이 서서히 바뀌기 시작하였다. 92년 7월 “건축물의 냉방설비에 대한 설치 및 설계기준” 이 제정, 시행됨에 따라 일정규모 이상의 건축물에 중앙집중식 냉방설비 설치시 주간 최대 냉방부하의 60% 이상을 가스냉방 또는 축냉식으로 설치 의무화됨으로써 냉방은 물론 난방까지 겸하는 흡수식 냉온수기의 보급이 크게 증가하고 있다.(중략)

본고는 지난 3월 18일 오전 5시 KBS 1FM에 방송된 "농수산 정책진단"(중앙대 윤석원 교수 진행)을 기록 발췌한 것으로, 방송에 참여한 협회 이승호 협회장은 한미 FTA 협상의 추진상 문제점과 낙농산업의 피해규모 양상을 열거하고 왜 기본적으로 한미 TA를 반대할 수 밖에 없는지의 당위성을 밝히며 당장이라도 협상은 중단되어야 함을 역설할 바 있다. 특히 유제품 시장개방 확대 위기속에 우리 낙농산업의 안정을 위한 정책과제로 전국단일쿼터제 실시와 변칙적인 수입유제품의 수입을 억제하기 위한 HS code의 세분화, 구내 치즈산업의 육성을 위한 제도마련, 학교우유급식 확대를 위한 급식관련법안의 개정 등이 제시되었다.

본 조사지역은 조수보호지역으로 대부분 지정되어 있어 동식물에 대하여 유의해야 한다. 따라서 현 서식환경을 대폭 변화시키는 대규모 개발을 억제하고 대형 콘크리트 구조물 등으로 인하여 서식지역과 개체군 분단에 주의해야할 것이다. 도로개축에 있어서는 특이 사항이 발견되지 않았으나 무까천에 공사 중에 토사유입을 주의하고 땅밀림 지역과 하안 침식지역의 정밀조사가 요구되었다.

멀칭이란 토양표면을 여러 가지 재료로 피복하는 것을 말하며, 이용성으로는 생육촉진, 한해경감, 동해경감, 잡초억제, 토양보호, 과실의 품질향상 등이 있고, 멀칭 재료도 투명필름, 흑색필름, 볏집, 알미늄반사필름 등이 있다. 또한, 광량이 부족한 겨울철 시설재배에서는 시설내 입사광을 될 수 있는 대로 많이 할 필요가 있다. (중략)

각종 통신기기의 주파수 합성기 등에 광범위하게 응용되고 있는 전압제어 발진기에 서 캐리어 대 잡음비(C/N비:Carrier noise Ratio)특성이 매우 중요하다. 특히 휴대용 단말기 에 쓰이는 소형 저소비전려의 VCO는 위상 잡음의 억제가 필수적이다. VCO의 C/N비 특성 은 공진회로의 선택도 Q와 능동소자의 각종 파라미터들 그리고 발전전력과 밀접한 관계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 CAD를 이용하여 우수한 C/N비를 갖는 900MHz대 VCO의 최적화 설 계방버을 제시하고 그 결과를 기초로 우수한 저잡은 VCO를 실현하였다.

A total of 5 different polar microorganisms were isolated from Arctic lichens and their bioactive compounds were extracted from cell culture using different solvents including acetone, water, chloroform, diethylether, ethanol, ethyl acetate, methanol, and petroleum ether. The antibacterial properties of the extracts were evaluated by disk diffusion tests and minimal inhibitory concentration tests against 6 bacterial pathogens; Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Micrococcus luteus, Enterobacter cloacae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli. Among the extraction samples, ethyl acetate extracts of Burkholderia sordidicola S5-$B^T$ (KOPRI 26644) showed the highest activity (inhibition zone, 7-10 mm; MIC value, 57.5-1000 ug/ml) against targeted bacteria. Among the various solvents used for extraction, chloroform extract exhibited the weakest, but still obvious, activity.

This study was focused on the evaluation of MarB alongside with MarA for its regulatory effects upon the efflux function of AcrAB pump, which were induced or not, perhaps as a target. Transductions of marR and/or acrAB mutation which were derived from Mar and/or AcrAB mutants of wild type E. coli K-12, respectively, into the multicopy plasmid in wild type E. coli backgrounds or into the chromosome of isogenic parents were done. Minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) of transduced mutants was compared with their original mutants. This study reports the indirect evidences that suggests a model in which MarB along with MarA have a putative negative regulatory effect upon the efflux function of AcrAB/TolC pump while MarA alone have a positive regulatory effect to the expression of acrRAB operon at transcription level. The target of MarB with MarA for its putative negative regulator might be the AcrAB efflux pump. Another efflux system (s) might be negatively regulated by MarB with MarA, and be involved in the efflux of antibiotics which were otherwise extruded preferentially by AcrAB efflux pump.

This experiment was performed to identify and isolate a growth inhibiting compound from Aralia continentalis. In order to isolate the growth inhibiting compound from Aralia continentalis the bioassay test of lettuce seed germination and rice seedling growth were used. Through these bioassays the growth inhibiting compound which was spotted at $R_f$ 0.51 on Tlc was isolated. This compound inhibited the lettuce growth by 79% at the concentration of 1000ppm. When sprayed with $FeCl_3$ reagent, it developed a bule spot. It had UV-absorbance at 217 nm and 342 nm, and $OH^-$ of $3600cm^{-1}$, C=O of $1700cm^{-1}$, C=C of $1600cm^{-1}$, and C-O of $1200cm^{-1}$ on IR spectrum. Through HPLC analysis this compound was identified as a ferulic acid ($C_{10}H_{10}O_4$) having 25 min. retention time.

This paper proposes a noise suppression method through SNR (Singal-to Noise Ratio) estimation in the two microphone array environment of close spacing. The conventional method uses a noise suppression method for a gain function obtained through the SNR estimation based on coherence function from full band. However, this method cause performance decreased by the noise damage that affects all the feature vector component. So, we propose a noise suppression method that allocates a frequency domain signal into N constant multi frequency band and each frequency band gets a gain function through SNR estimation based on coherence function. Performance evaluation of the proposed method is shown by comparison with PESQ (Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality) value which is an objective quality evaluation method provided by the ITU-T (International Telecommunications Union Telecommunication).
