컨테이너터미널 장치장에서 외부트럭 인터페이싱 방법에 따른 효율성 평가에 관한 연구

  • 초대형 컨테이너선의 출현 이후 각국의 항만들은 메가 허브 포트가 되기 위하여 첨단기술을 컨테이너터미널 업무에 적용하는 등 효율성과 생산성 향상을 위한 노력에 박차를 가하고 있다. 컨테이너터미널에서는 게이트, 야드, 안벽 업무로 나누어져 있으며, 이들 업무간의 효율성 향상을 위해서는 각 업무들 간에 인터페이스가 원활하게 유지되어야 한다. 현재 컨테이너터미널의 야드 업무에서는 외부차량과의 인터페이스를 원활하게 하기 위해서 바코드를 이용한 키오스크 기반 외부트럭 인터페이스를 사용하고 있으나 변화해가는 항만 환경 속에서 좀 더 효율적인 야드 업무 처리를 위해서는 신기술이 적용된 외부트럭 인터페이스가 개발되어야 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근 컨테이너터미널 야드 업무에서 외부트럭과의 인터페이싱 방안으로 활발하게 적용되고 있는 RFID 기반 외부트럭 인터페이스와 기존 사용되고 있는 키오스크 기반 외부트럭 인터페이스를 비교 분석을 통하여 효율성을 평가하고자 한다.

A Study on the Heuristic-Based Yard Crane Scheduling Method Using Truck Arrival Information (트럭 도착 정보를 활용한 휴리스틱 기반 야드 크레인 스케줄링 방법)

  • Literatures have considered mathematical model that change the job order of shipper for improving the operation time of yard crane. However, on the real site, it is impossible to change the job order decided according to the shipper's arrival order. Therefore, operation managers have been utilized the relatively simple strategy that job control is better but the process time of yard crane is longer due to the growth of yard crane's interference time and empty drive time. This study proposed a new yard-crane scheduling approach that decided the job order before the shipper's truck arrived the yard terminal. We utilize the Container Pre-Information Notice estimating the arrival time of truck. We developed the container terminal simulation model for validation of the effect of proposed scheduling approach. The results show that the proposed scheduling reduced the interference delay time and empty moving time of yard crane and shipper's truck delay time.

  • 해양수산부에서 추진 중인 "스마트 해상물류체계 구축전략"의 일환으로, 스마트 항만 도입 및 항만의 자동화를 위해서는 자율주행을 기반으로 하는 야드 트럭의 도입이 필수적이다. 항만의 야드 트럭 운영 환경은 무신호 교차로 주행, 낮은 GPS 정확도, 악천후 상황 주행, 컨테이너 이송을 위한 정차 등과 같이 일반 도로에서의 자율주행차량 운행 환경과는 달라 기존의 자율주행차량 기술을 바로 적용할 수 없어 항만 내 자율협력주행기반 이송장비 도입을 위한 별도의 방안 마련이 필요하다. 본 연구는 이송장비 도입을 위한 국내 컨테이너터미널 유형별 운영현황을 살펴보고, 이송장비의 투자가치 분석 및 민감도 분석을 통해 항만개발의 방향성을 제시하고자 한다.

  • This paper proposes a method for designing layout on the yard and evaluating alternative designs of the layout by applying simulation The design method is based on the concepts of the conventional port container terminal with yard layout. In general, yard design of the container terminal consists of the two major parts. One is to divide yard area between the number of sections and runs and the other is to decide the number of equipment including yard truck and yard crane. In the past days, this design was depended on the experience of the terminal operator and the reproduction of the conventional terminal layout because it is a very complex problem to be considering facilities and equipments. In this paper, we suggest a design method as a conceptual procedure used simulation method The number of sections and runs on yard area, the number of yard truck per container crane, and the number of yard crane per run are decided using simulation In addition, the traffic flow among blocks on yard layout is estimated in terms of rate.

  • In this paper, we developed a cooling system for the refrigeration truck using natural carbon dioxide refrigerant which is attracting attention as an environmentally-friendly refrigerant. We developed a high efficient environmentally-friendly refrigerated truck that converted the existing diesel vehicle into an LNG vehicle to improve emissions of truck and improved the efficiency of the cooling system by utilizing a heat of LNG vaporization. The COP of refrigerated truck system was increased 144%.

  • A basic concept of TAS(Tractor Appointment System), which not only enhances the terminal productivity, but also yields higher efficiency of domestic CT(Container Terminal), is developed in this paper for CT to more competitive and serviceable. To analyze the effects of TAS when applied to the existing four-tier CT, a quantitative analysis is performed.   • In general, the design of container yard and container handling system on container terminal are focused on operation of shipside than service about chassis from outside(C/O). It is not efficient for chassis from outside. The purpose of this paper is functional assessment of efficient container terminal and for higher performance of container terminal. first, the items which are concerned with container handling at the planning of container terminal are investigated and extracted through the practical data analysis of container terminal. Also, verified problems of planning and present condition through the functional assessment. Secondly, the improvements for container throughput in container yard are proposed and examined the effectiveness of improvements about queuing time of chassis from outside and service time of transfer crane by the evaluation decision model based upon multi criteria objectives.

  • Currently, global developed countries in shipping and logistics establish smart ports by introducing various digital technologies such as automated terminals and sharing platforms. This means that the importance of efficiency throughout the port by improving resource utilization efficiency and minimizing work idle time is increasing. Therefore, this study proposes a yard truck dispatching method of improving resource utilization efficiency. And we analyze the problems of the existing dispatching rules and develop Y/T dispatching algorithm that comprehensively considers related constraints. In addition, the simulation takes into account the terminal congestion based on the operation data of the Busan New Port, it is conducted using the existing dispatch method and developed Y/T dispatching algorithm. And the operational effects of analysis result are evaluated.

  • The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the efficiency of two yard layout of HSS at container terminal, one is that the container yard blocks are placed horizontally in parallel with berth, the other is that the yard blocks are arranged vertically in perpendicular to the berth. In stevedoring system of container terminal, stacking and transport performance are influenced according to block arrangement type of yard. Therefore, efficient design that can improve stacking and transport performance is required. In this paper, we compared their efficiency of two block arrangement concepts in terms of storage capacity, productivity, facility investments, truck service level.
