A Simulation of Nighttime Thermal Infrared Image Colorization considering Temperature Change between Day and Night (주야간 온도변화를 고려한 야간 열적외영상 컬러화 모의)

  • In order to improve the visibility of nighttime thermal infrared images, a simulation method with daytime color images was proposed. As a simulation method consisting of two steps, the daytime thermal infrared image was simulated by learning the unpaired nighttime thermal infrared image and daytime thermal infrared image, then the result was translated into a daytime color image. A temperature change regression equation was constructed and applied to reflect the systematic characteristics of temperature changes in daytime and nighttime images, and day and night simulation and colorization were trained and modeled by CycleGAN. For the experimental area, 100 images were captured and used for training. As a result, the simulation showed an average SSIM of 0.2449 and a PSNR of 51.2254. It was confirmed that the method could simulate complex and detailed features such as vegetation.

Physiological Responses and Fruit Quality Changes of 'Fuji' Apple under the High Night Temperature (야간 고온에 의한 사과 후지 품종의 생리반응 및 과실품질 변화)

  • Tropical night phenomenon has been increasing due to global warming recently, it is expected that fruit quality of apples will decrease due to elevated night temperature condition. In the present study, fruit quality at maturity, periodic anthocyanin biosynthetic gene expression and sugar contents in leaves and fruit flesh were investigated to establish the physiological responses of 'Fuji' apples under high night temperature. The night temperature were treated with such as ambient (control), ambient $-4^{\circ}C$, and ambient $+4^{\circ}C$. After the treatment, high night temperature didn't affect fruit diameter, weight, and soluble sugar contents. Coloration of ambient $+4^{\circ}C$ was poor than that of control, however there was no significant difference between these genes expression of control and that of ambient $+4^{\circ}C$ treatment in the late coloration season. Increase of sorbitol and glucose contents at ambient $+4^{\circ}C$ in leaves were smaller than those at control, and then sorbitol and sucrose contents in fruit flesh at ambient $+4^{\circ}C$ were smaller than those at control. The cross section of leaves showed that there were no differences with the structure of parenchyma and epidermis tissues between the treatments, but starch granules in the palisade parenchyma cells decreased in high night temperature treatments. Consequently, high night temperature didn't affect the fruit quality, but changed sugar contents in leaves and fruit flesh, and suppressed coloration regardless of anthocyanin biosynthetic gene expression.

성지곡수원지 부근 산공풍의 기단변질과정에 관한 수치실험

  • 부산의 대표적 큰 계곡인 성지곡수원지는 남쪽으로 부산의 최대 도심인 서면을 향해 열려 있고, 그 이외의 삼면은 높은 산지로 둘러싸여 있다. 그래서 성지곡-서면-남항 일대는 낮에는 해풍이 곡풍(남풍)의 형태로 불고, 야간에는 산풍이 육풍(북풍)의 형태로 불고 있다. 이렇게 형성된 국지풍 순환의 규모와 특성을 평가하기 위하여, 계곡 입구와 도심인 서면 부근에 자동기상관측장치를 설치하여 특별 관측을 수행하였다. 관측결과 주간에는 서면 부근의 기온이 성지곡 입구보다 낮았고, 야간에는 이와 반대로 나타났으며 그 차이는 대체로 $3^{\circ}C$ 내외였다. 이것은 주로 지표면 가열의 의한 기단변질의 결과로 판단된다. 관측 일에 확인된 도로표면온도는 낮에 약 65도까지 상승하였으며 야간에도 30도 정도의 고온이 유지되었다. 이 연구에서는 현장관측으로 확인된 기단변질과정을 이해하기 위하여 2차원 대류모델을 이용한 수치실험을 수행하였다. 수치실험의 결과 낮에는 지표로부터 약 $150W/m^2$이상의 현열이 보급됨이 확인되었다. 야간에도 $10W/m^2$ 내외의 현열이 대기 중으로 보급되어 성지곡 수원지에서 발원된 냉기류를 가열시키고 있음이 확인되었다.

  • 지표면의 파장별 방출율을 알고 있다는 가정하에 대기의 흡수효과가 상이한 두 파장역을 이용하여 대기효과를 보정해주는 일반적인 분리대기창(Generalized Split-Window) 방법으로 MTSAT-1R 자료로부터 지표면 온도(LST) 산출 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 지표면온도 산출 회귀식은 대기복사전달모델 MODTRAN4.0으로 위성으로부터 LST를 산출하는데 영향을 주는 여러 가지 요소(주/야간,수증기, 방출율,위성관측각 등)들을 고려하여 모의된 자료로부터 도출하였다. 개발한 LST 산출알고리즘의 수준을 분석하기 위해 MSGl SEVIRI 센서에 적합하도록 개 발된 Sobrino and Romaguera(2004)의 알고리즘과 GMS-5 VISSR 센서에 적합하도록 개발된 Prata and Cechet(1999)의 알고리즘과 비교하였다. 3 알고리즘을 MTSAT-1R 자료에 적용하여 LST를 산출한 결과 LST의 공간분포는 정성적으로 서로 유사하게 나타났으나,정량적으로는 지리적 위치,계절 및 주간/야간에 따라서 LST가 다르게 나타났다.

An Analysis of Rational Green Area Ratio by Land Use Types for Mitigating Heat-Island Effects (도시열섬완화를 위한 토지 이용 유형별 합리적 녹지율 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze reasonable green area ratios for mitigating urban heat island considering various land use types. Land uses of 5 types such as single residential, multi residential, commercial area, public facility, and industrial area were considered. Green areas were extracted from the tree attribution of land cover. Effect of urban heat island was analysed by the surface temperature of ASTER thermal infrared radiance scanned daytime and nighttime. Mitigation effect of green area at daytime was higher than nighttime. Surface temperature of green area was low in single residential at daytime. But the difference of surface temperature by each land use type was small. The effect of surface temperature mitigation of green area was lower in industrial area. The results of reasonable green area ratios for mitigating urban heat island indicate that surface temperature was the lowest with green area ratio of 40~50% in single residential, multi residential, and commercial area at daytime. Surface temperature of nighttime was not changed much by green area ratios. Therefore, the results of this study will be suggested in urban development planning to construct effectively green area for mitigating urban heat island.

  • Smart farms, which have been receiving attention as a solution to recent rural problems, refer to technologies that optimize the growing environment of crops and increase the productivity and quality of crops through efficient management. If the relationships between environmental data in smart farms are analyzed, additional productivity enhancement and crop management will be possible. In this paper, we propose a method for acquiring and analyzing nine environmental data, including temperature, humidity, CO2, soil temperature, soil moisture, insolation, soil EC, EC, and pH. Data acquisition is done through RS-485 communication between the main board and the sensor board and stored in the database after acquisition. The stored data is downloaded in Excel sheet format and analyzed through histograms, data charts, and correlation heatmaps. First, we analyze the distribution of total, day, and night data through histogram analysis, and identifiy the average, median, minimum, and maximum values by month through data chart analysis separating day and night to see how the data changes by month. Finally, we analyze the correlation of the data through a correlation heatmap analysis separating day and night. The results show a very strong positive correlation between temperature and soil temperature and soil EC and EC during the day, and a very strong positive correlation between temperature and soil temperature and soil EC and EC at night, and a strong negative correlation between temperature and soil EC.

Effects of Beehives Number on Inside Temperature of Wintering Beehouse (저장봉군수가 저온양봉사 내부온도에 미치는 영향)

  • 꿀벌의 실내월동에 이용되는 월동용 저온양봉사의 내부환경에 영향을 주는 요소에는 외기온, 저장봉군수, 환기량 등이 있다. 이러한 환경요인을 고려하여 설계 제작된 국내 월동용 저온양봉사의 성능 및 저장봉군수와 양봉사 내부온도의 관계를 분석하고자 경상북도의 7개 지역에 설치된 월동용 저온양봉사(내부크기 폭4.5m×길이3m×높이3m)에 대하여 2000. 11. 25부터 2001, 2. 15까지 실내월동 실험을 수행하였다. 실험대상 지역은 포항, 문경, 상주, 칠곡, 성주, 영양, 안동이며, 지역별 저장봉군수는 각각 14, 74, 85, 110, 163, 170, 260군이다(Table 1). 꿀벌의 월동기간 중 안동과 성주지역을 제외한 5개 지역의 실내 월동성적은 폐사율이 10%미만으로 대체적으로 우수한 것으로 조사되었으나, 월동기간중 지역별 외기온을 분석한 결과, 평균외기온 및 최저외기온이 가장 낮은 지역은 안동이었으며, 그 값이 각각 -3.1℃와 -9.4℃일 때 양봉사 내부의 평균온도와 최저온도는 5.2℃와 3.8℃로 나타났다. 반면에 평균외기온 및 최저외기온이 가장 높은 지역은 포항이었으며 그 값이 각각 1.3℃와 -4.1℃일 때 양봉사 내부의 평균온도와 최저온도는 각각 3.1℃와 1.2℃로 나타나 저온양봉사 내부의 온도환경 조절성능이 모두 우수한 것으로 판단되었다(Table 1). 또한 월동기간중 주.야간으로 양봉사 내.외부의 온도변화를 분석한 결과, 저장봉군수의 증가에 따라 주야간 모두 양봉사 내.외부 온도편차가 증가하는 경향을 나타내었으며 양봉사 내부의 주.야간 평균온도는 모두 꿀벌의 월동에 적정한 범위인 2℃-9℃를 유지하는 것으로 분석되었다(Table 2). 그리고, 월동기간중 외기온이 가장 낮은 시기(1월 13-19일)의 평균 외기온이 -8℃--9℃로 유사한 문경, 상주, 영양, 안동지역의 월동용 저온양봉사의 평균 내부온도는 각각 -2.0℃, -1.0℃, 0.2℃, 4.2℃로 나타나 저장봉군수가 증가함에 따라 월동용 저온양봉사의 내부온도가 증가하여 꿀벌의 월동에 적합한 온도범위를 유지함을 알 수 있었다. 실험기간동안 대부분의 저온양봉사 내부온도는 꿀벌이 월동하기에 적정한 온도범위(2℃-9℃)로 유지하였다(Fig. 1).

Effects of Night Alternating Temperature on Growth and Cold Stress at Nursing Stage in Tomato (토마토 육묘 시 변온이 생육과 저온 스트레스에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the applicability of alternating temperature control during night time in a nursery seedling production. Three groups of samples were exposed to three different environmental conditions for 6 days from 18:00 to 09:00; one was constantly 15 ℃, another was alternating between 15 ℃ for 2 hours and 11 ℃ for 2 hours, and the other was alternating between 15 ℃ for 2 hours and 11 ℃ for 4 hours. Leaf temperature and stem temperature was measured in real time. The influence of cold stress was analyzed by flavonoid content and growth of tomato seedling. The temperature of leaves and stem became equal to the ambient temperature over time, furthermore, there was no significant difference among the treatments. In conclusion, it is considered that heating costs can be saved considerably, as the alternating temperature has fewer effects on cold stress reaction by tomato seedling growth.

Control of Diurnal Night Temperature on Watermelon(Citrullus vulgaris S.) for Energy Saving Greenhouse (시설내 수박재배시 에너지 절약을 위한 야간온도의 조절)

  • In winter, most of the energy for a greenhouse crop is supplied during the night. Since watermelon is grown under high night temperature, the experiments were set up to investigate night temperature influence on watermelon in order to obtain the best economic output. Day temperatures ranged from $25^{\circ}C$ and 3$0^{\circ}C$ ; night temperatures ranged from 2$0^{\circ}C$ to 3$0^{\circ}C$ at 5$^{\circ}C$ interval. Two cultivars of watermelon(Citrullus vulgaris S. ‘Binna’ and ‘Kamro’) treated with 30/3$0^{\circ}C$ yielded maximum leaf areas, flowers and leaf numbers. 30(14h)/25(10h)$^{\circ}C$ or 30(12h)/25(12h)$^{\circ}C$ grown plants had higher germination ratio and more dry weight and chlorophyll than those of 30/3$0^{\circ}C$ which were the highest temperature integral. Although 25/$25^{\circ}C$ and 30/2$0^{\circ}C$ regime are same average temperature, the growth of watermelons at 30/2$0^{\circ}C$ was significantly higher than 25/$25^{\circ}C$. ‘Binna’ was growing more than ‘Kamro’ at the same temperature. Leaf area ratio(LAR) was reduced with increasing DIF temperature from 30/3$0^{\circ}C$ to 30/2$0^{\circ}C$, but leaf weight ratio(LWR) was increased.

An Analysis of Luminance and Chromaticity on Outdoor Lighting of Historic Buildings -focused on Namdaemun and Kwanghwamun- (휘도와 색도측면에서 본 역사적 건축물의 야간경관조명 분석 -남대문과 광화문을 중심으로-)

  • Recently, outdoor lighting of buildings has bemIre activated in national level of Korea. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the outdoor ljghting effect of historic buildings with particular reference to two traditional gates architecture - Namdaemtul and Kwanghwamun For the purpose, luminance and chromaticity of outdoor lighting are measured. The results of the study are as follows; $\circled1$ Outdoor lighting of the historic buildings were mainly illuminated by the floodlights. In addition, up-lighting and accent lighting were locally used. $\circled2$ Basements and rooflines were specially emphasized, and they represented the night image of historical buildings. $\circled3$ Chromaticity distribution of historical building was wlute during the day. However, it was yellow dL1Jing the night due to the color and color temperature of outdoor lighting.ghting.
