Development of Load-Cell-Based Anemovane (로드셀형 풍향풍속계 개발)

  • A load-cell-type anemovane operates based on wind vector properties. The developed load-cell-type anemovane is of a fixed type in which the wing does not rotate, unlike in the case of existing anemovanes. The load-cell-type anemovane is required to accurately derive the correlation between the load ratio and the wind direction in order to develop a qualified product. This is because the load ratio repeats every $90^{\circ}$ owing to the use of four load cells, and its value varies nonlinearly according to the wind direction. In this study, we compared analytical results with experimental results. Fluid analysis was carried out using ANSYS CFX. Furthermore, the prototype was tested using a self-manufactured wind tunnel. The wind direction was selected as the design variable. 13 selected wind direction conditions ranging from $0^{\circ}$ to $90^{\circ}$ with an interval of $7.5^{\circ}$ for analysis were defined. Furthermore, 10 wind direction conditions with an interval of $10^{\circ}$ for the experiment were defined. We derived the relations between the pressure ratio and the wind direction through the experiment and fluid analysis.

  • An experiment of rapid pressurization-induced crack propagation of solid propellant was conducted by using a windowed test chamber. A pre-cracked specimen of solid propellant is installed in the chamber, and highly compressed nitrogen gas in a accumulator pressurizes the chamber until the chamber pressure reaches set-up pressure to make the chamber depressurization. Pressure-time trace was obtained from the experimental result, and pressurization rate was defined from the trace. In this study, three pressurization rates (64.34, 73.86 and 85.44 MPa/s) are considered, and propagation lengths are measured. Also, a progression of the crack propagation recorded by a high-speed digital camera is presented.

A Study on the Burst Pressure of Composite Motor Case due to the Change of Metal Boss PDR Design (금속 보스 압력분포비 설계 변경에 따른 복합재 연소관 파열압력에 관한 연구)

  • Composite motor cases fabricated by the filament winding method are structurally weak in the dome when they are required to withstand the internal pressure of the combustion gas. In this study, a finite element analysis is conducted to compare the burst pressure of a composite dome according to the variation of the pressure distribution ratio(PDR). The performance of the composite motor case was compared quantitatively by calculating the stress on the inner and outer dome surfaces and metal boss volume. As a result, the critical point of the failure mode was observed at a PDR between 2.5 and 3.0. A design at a PDR of 2.5­-3.5 can reduce the weight of metal boss without fluctuation in the burst pressure of the combustion motor case. Moreover as the design reference value changes according to the dome shape and opening size, further analysis and testing are necessary.

  • Starting characteristics of the axi-symmetric second throat exhaust diffuser (STED) with zero-secondary flows are numerically investigated. Renolds-Average Navier-Stokes equations with a standard ${\kappa}-{\varepsilon}$ turbulence model incorporated with enhanced wall treatment are solved to simulate the diffusing evolutions of the nozzle plume. Minimum (optimum) starting pressure difference of 20$\sim$25% between 1-D theory and the measured data validated from previous results[5] is also applied to predict the range of an effective diffuser expansion ratio (Ad/At) in this system.

  • 버섯의 감압건조시험을 할 수 있는 요인시험장치를 제작하여 시험한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 가. 댐퍼조절방식 감압건조장치로 건조시험한 결과, 표고버섯은 건조온도 5$0^{\circ}C$에서는 나타나 건조실 압력에 따른 건감률의 변화는 크게 나타나지 않았으나, 건조온도 6$0^{\circ}C$에서 건조실 내부압력이 990hPa일 때 4.57%/hr로 1,013hPa에 비해 높게 나타났으며, 색차면에서는 온도 5$0^{\circ}C$일 때 건조실 내부 압력이 낮아질수록 변화가 적은 것으로 나타났고, 수축률은 압력별로 거의 변화가 없었으나, 건조온도 6$0^{\circ}C$, 압력 990hPa에서 다른 조건에 비해 양호한 것으로 판단되었으나 건조실 내부에 공기분배가 일정하지 않고, 건조실 내부압력 강하성능이 떨어지는 문제점이 발생하여 솔레노이드를 이용한 압력조절방식으로 보완 제작하여 건조시험을 실시하였다. 나. 솔레노이드방식 감압건조장치로 건조시험 한 결과, 표고버섯은 열풍온도 5$0^{\circ}C$, 건조실 내부압력 940-980hPa에서 건감률 2.69%w.b./hr, 갓의 복원률 90.1%로 가장 높았고, 색차 및 수축률이 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났으며, 건조실 내부압력을 900-940hPa로 고정하고 열풍온도를 40, 50, 6$0^{\circ}C$로 표고버섯을 시험한 결과 건감률은 6$0^{\circ}C$일 때 가장 높았으나, 색차, 수축률, 복원률을 고려할 경우 열풍온도 5$0^{\circ}C$가 가장 적합한 것으로 판단된다. 다 솔레노이드방식 감압건조장치로 건조한 표고버섯으로 품위에 대한 유의성 검증결과, 표고버섯의 경우 온도별로는 색택과 복원률, 건조실 내부 압력별로는 수축률, 복원률에서 유의차가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 라. 본 연구에서 구명된 감압건조특성을 기초로 하여 배치식 감압건조기를 설계 제작에 활용하고자 한다.

  • Aerodynamic noise generated by the surrounding flow of a train traveling at high speed affects both outdoor and indoor noise. This study's goal is to develop a test method to measure and quantitatively evaluate aerodynamic noise through pressure perturbation data on the train surface. To accurately evaluate aerodynamic noise, it is important to separate and evaluate the compressive and incompressible pressure fluctuations mixed in the acquired surface pressure fluctuation data. This is because the noise transmission characteristics of the two pressure fluctuations are different. First, the installation length and interval of the microphone were determined to acquire surface pressure fluctuation data, and wavenumber-frequency analysis was performed to separate incompressible pressure fluctuation and compressible pressure fluctuation to obtain a sound pressure level spectrum. Finally, as a result of comparing the test results measured in the train head and trail, It was confirmed that the pressure fluctuation on the train head surface was greater than that on the tail.

The Whole Region Pressure Measurement of Cavity Downstream using PSP Technique (PSP를 이용한 Cavity 후류의 전역적 압력분포 측정)

  • PSP (Pressure Sensitive Paint) technique can measure continuous pressure field by analyzing the oxygen quantity using optical method. The surface pressure of down stream after the sonic jet that injected transversely into the supersonic freestream was measured by PSP technique. Moreover the effect of various rectangular shaped cavities in front of the jet was measured by PSP technique. A comparison of the PSP results with conventional pressure tap and CFD indicates good agreement. The result shows that the cavity affects the pressure distribution in the rear of the jet injection.

  • ZnO:Al thin films were deposited by RF magnetron sputtering with various base pressure, and their structural, optical, and electrical properties were studied. The influence of the base pressure on the ZnO:Al thin film was confirmed and a high-quality thin film was obtained by controlling the base pressure. In all Al-doped ZnO thin films, the preferred orientation of (002) plane was observed and light transmittance in visible region (400 nm~800 nm) had above 85%. With decreasing of base pressure, crystallinity, resistivity, and figure of merit were improved. The improvement of resistivity with base pressure was attributed to the change of grain size.

  • 본 논문에서는 PMF와 FBG로 구성된 PDL 기반 사냑 간섭계를 이용하여 편광 간섭형 광섬유 압력 센서를 구현하였다. 여러 종류의 PMF들에서 압력 민감도를 비교하기 위해, 서로 다른 세 종류의 보우-타이형 PMF를 센서부로 사용하였다. 구현된 광섬유 압력 센서를 이용하여 0~0.3 MPa의 범위에서 압력 측정을 수행하였으며, 최대 압력 민감도는 근사적으로 -15.07 nm/MPa로 측정되었고, 센서의 선형성을 나타내는 $R^2$값은 ~0.992로 측정되었다. 제안된 센서는 FBG를 이용하여 외부 온도 변화의 보상이 가능하면서도, 이전의 편광유지 광자결정 광섬유 기반 압력 센서에 비해 압력 민감도를 4배까지 증가시킬 수 있었다.

정전 탐침을 이용한 산소 플라즈마의 음이온 발생 특성 연구

  • 산소 플라즈마의 음이온 발생 특성을 정전 탐침을 이용하여 관찰하였다. 탐침에 흐르는 음 전류는 전자 전류와 음이온 전류의 합으로 구성되며 음이온 속도는 전자 속도에 비해 작아 음이온의 발생 량이 증가함에 따라 음이온 전류의 크기는 감소하게 된다. 따라서 탐침에 흐르는 양 전류와 음전류의 비 Ii*/(Ie*+I-*)는 음이온의 발생량에 따라 변화하게 된다. 또한 플라즈마 전위와 부유 전위간의 전위차와 음 이온밀도와의 관계는 다음과 같은 관계식 e(Vp-Vf)/Te={3.35 + 0.5 ln$\mu$ - ln(ni/ne)]을 갖으며 이로부터 음이온의 밀도를 측정할 수 있다. 이들 두 가지 방법을 이용하여 정전 탐침에서 얻어지는 탐침 자료로부터 직접 플라즈마에서 음이온 발생에 관한 정성적인 특성 변화를 관찰할 수 있었다. 본 실험에서는 운전 압력(0.1-600mTorr)과 입력 전력(50-500W)에 따른 DC, ICP, CCP에서 발생하는 산소 음이온 플라즈마의 발생 특성을 분석하였다. 운전 압력이 증가함에 따라 음이온의 비율이 증가하다가 감소함이 관찰되었으며 400mTorr에서 최대 30%의 음이온 발생 비율을 갖음을 알 수 있었으며 더 큰 압력 하에서는 발생률이 점차 감소함을 관찰되었다. 또한 음이온의 발생 율은 입력 전력보다 운전 압력에 민감하게 변화하였다.
