The Need for Education on Health and Medical Law for Nursing Students (간호대학생의 보건의료법에 대한 교육의 필요성)

  • This study aimed to find out the learning outcomes of the program belonging to law and ethics, which is the category of the 4th cycle nursing certification evaluation, and to find out the direction of health care laws and regulations belonging to the related category accordingly. In the 4th cycle, 4 sub-competences were presented, and "learning outcomes are to practice nursing in accordance with law and ethics". Planning is recommended. In particular, health care laws and regulations are an important subject in the national examination for nurses, and the number of students who failed in the recent national examination for nurses was 1st to 2nd. However, if these subjects are recognized only as memorization-oriented national tests, the learning outcomes of the Nursing Education Accreditation and Evaluation Institute cannot be achieved. In particular, with the demand for high-level nursing care as a nurse and the expansion of work, related responsibilities and duties are increasing, so it is necessary to recognize the importance of achieving learning outcomes for health care laws and regulations and to make efforts to link learning outcomes.

Development of Python Education Program with Computational Thinking

  • In this paper, we propose a python education program that applies computational thinking for non-majors and programming beginners. In this study, we focus on the basics of program logic, breaking away from the difficult grammar and memorization-oriented programming education. And by applying the problem-solving procedure of computational thinking, we propose an educational program that allows non-majors and programming beginners to learn programming easily. In this paper, an 8-week educational program was applied to middle school students with little text coding experience. and through a post-satisfaction survey, it was found that their confidence in programming increased, and they were able to apply computational thinking could be applied to life and other subjects. Although the importance of programming education is being emphasized, it is expected that it will be used as a useful educational program when composing program education for non-majors and beginners in programming for learners who still find it difficult to learn programming.

Development of a Writing Program Using a Mind-map Software (마인드맵 소프트웨어를 활용한 논술 프로그램 개발)

  • The aim of teaching writing is not to memorize a single piece of knowledge but to acquire higher thinking that could be related to other fields using learners' various reading experiences and schemata. Among several strategies or techniques to write well, it is recommended to use a mind-map technique. A mind-map software applies the mind-map technique into computer for learners to study autonomously. However, the mind-map software is not common in educational fields yet and there are only few studies on the effect of it. Therefore, this study analyzed various curricula to extract the elements of writing and developed a mind-map software program which was applied and tested. As a result, the writing program using the mind-map software was effective in promoting learners' motivation and lowering anxiety. It also improved learners' competence of writing such as understanding, analytic thinking, creativity, ability to organize, and expression.

  • The conception of the computer education should be paid attention to use, as it has meaning of the education using the computer and the education learning the computer. As a notion of the latter, the computer education points at survey of calculation and study which is related programing. Especially study of programing demands various understandings of external fields in programing like operating system and knowledge of hardware with complex courses like coding, compiling, debugging. Existing programming has set importance on mechanical memorizing and using programing grammar so that it has not been suitable for cultivating logical thoughts. So this paper intends to analyze simple game sources coded by C which is based of programing language to develop a fundamental insight.

  • Nowadays it is required for a student to have the ability to select right things in quantity of knowledge and constructing those in the right way for the individual. Because memorizing a little bit of everything doesn't allow a person to work up to their potential and be the person society wants. In the basis on the revised Information and Communications Technology guidelines at elementary and middle school, it is demanded to start education in elementary schools. Meanwhile elementary school students usually feel bored or find it difficult in learing through the existing program. So I will plan the lesson by Scratch program for programming education and see the effect of this after using that method.

  • The main purpose of Iowa Chautauqua Program(ICP) and Iowa-Scope, Sequence. and Coordination (Iowa-SS&C) was to educate K-12 science teachers so that they could teach science in a human context using the constructivist strategies. The major task for the participating teachers to perform was to develop modules with the emphasis on STS and constructivist approach. which were supposed to be taught in the respective classrooms. Teachers worked together for two weeks for the development of modules during the summer, and attempted the modules with their students. The participating teachers met regularly during the autumn semester to share and reflect their experiences and obtain additional information on science education reform and its implications. During the winter break. the teachers improved and extended the STS modules. The Iowa Chautauqua Program and Iowa-SS&C had two important implications for Korean science education. First, they made the most of the resources they had in order to provide the practicing teachers with recent research findings on the nature of science. science learning and teaching, that is. the constructivist approach. Second, they emphasized both cooperation of teachers and long-term training to realize the reform in school science education.

  • The purpose of this study is to find the way to build the concept image about natural logarithm and the method is using definite integral in calculus under GeoGebra environment. When the students approach to natural logarithm, need to use dynamic program about the definite integral in calculus. Visible reasoning process through using dynamic program(GeoGebra) is the most important part that make the concept image to students. Also, for understand mathematical concept to students, using GeoGebra environment in dynamic program is not only useful but helpful method of teaching and studying. In this article, about graph of natural logarithm using the definite integral, to explore process of understand and to find special feature under GeoGebra environment. And it was obtained from a survey of undergraduate students of mathmatics. Also, relate to this process, examine an aspect of students, how understand about connection between natural logarithm and the definite integral, definition of natural logarithm and mathematical link of e. As a result, we found that undergraduate students of mathmatics can understand clearly more about the graph of natural logarithm using the definite integral when using GeoGebra environment. Futhermore, in process of handling the dynamic program that provide opportunity that to observe and analysis about process for problem solving and real concept of mathematics.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an artificial-intelligence STEAM program for real-time interactive online class for elementary science and to analyze its effect on science academic achievement and creative problem-solving ability. The applied unit was 'Life of plant', a 4th grade science subject with high difficulty in teaching and learning mainly by memorization. The theme of the program is 'Creating a doctor of plant artificial intelligence chatbot'. The results of this study were as follows: The program developed in this study had a positive effect on elementary school students' science academic achievement and creative problem-solving ability. Therefore, the artificial intelligence STEAM program for elementary science interactive online class is effective in improving students' scientific academic achievement and creative problem-solving ability, and further research on artificial intelligence STEAM education theory, method, and practice is required.

  • There is an increasing concern about computer education with the age of knowledge-based society. The learning programming language is taking an important role of computer education. However, the special emphasis in learning programming language has been attached to memorizing the programming language by rote and learning computer programs. Therefore, those were not much useful tools to develope a logical intelligence of the meanings of programming language and the methods of realization. It is positively necessary to improve the programming education efficiently because of the objects of knowledge of computing and raising an efficiency of problem solving. Under the circumstances, this research is aimed at representing an useful education model through developing a mathmatical program into each part of the C programming language, which would be a new supplier of an basic insight into the programming language and techniques. Accordingly it is thought that the research material will be an useful model to increase interests and concerns as well as to raise an efficiency of problem solving or a logical intelligence going through the process of studying programming language.

Analysis of the Effect of Self-Directed Learning Method in Medical Team Education (의학용어학습에서 자기주도학습준비도 촉진 수업방식의 효과 분석)

  • This study was designed to examine whether the self-directed learning method could improve self-directed learning readiness and the effects of academic achievement level. Self-directed learning readiness was investigated among 63 first-year Medical Terminology undergraduates in the C area. A repeat measurement variance analysis of the general linear model was conducted to evaluate the effects of improving self-directed learning readiness according to the general characteristics and level of academic achievement, while a regression analysis was performed to identify the factors affecting self-directed learning readiness. Self-directed learning readiness increased from 177.3 to 180.8 for those under 18 years of age, and 192.9 to 196.5 for those over 19 years of age (p<0.05). After the team activity, the overall self-directed learning readiness was improved, and both high- and low-achieving groups showed statistically significant improvements (p<0.05). The environment surrounding learners was confirmed to have a positive effect on improving self-directed learning when given the right degree of self-directed learning and appropriate feedback. The study results are expected to form basic foundation material for professors and class designers who want to draw self-directed learning skills from memorizing subjects.
