The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between recognition about patient safety culture, patient safety competence, and safety nursing activities for emergency room nurses. The subjects of this study were 121 nurses working in the emergency room among the nurses with more than one year working in 9 general hospitals. The research tools were structured questionnaires of patient safety culture, patient safety competence, and safety nursing activities. As a result of this study, the perception of the patient safety culture was 3.51 out of 5, and the patient safety knowledge / attitude at the individual level was the highest. Patient safety competence was 3.60 points out of 5, and sub-domain showed 3.91 for attitude, 3.47 for skill, 3.24 for knowledge. Safety nursing activities showed 3.85 points out of 5 points and sub-area showed the highest level of medication. There was a positive correlation between safety nursing activities and patient safety culture(r=.40, p<.001), patient safety competence, and safety nursing activities(r=.70, p<.001), patient safety competence and patient safety culture(r=.40, p<.001). Especially, it was found that among the characteristics showing differences in the perception of the safety culture, patient safety competence, and safety nursing activities, the safety education within the last one year was influential. The lowest score in the knowledge domain was found to be the lowest among sub-scales of patient safety competence, and it was found that efforts to increase the knowledge level of patient safety were needed.

With the aim of preventing safety accidents at construction sites, the company aims to create safe behaviors intended through variables called smart safety and health activities to help reduce industrial accidents. Purpose: It analyzes how smart safety and health activities affect accidents caused by unsafe behavior and changes in worker behavior, which is the root cause, and verifies the hypothesis that it helps prevent safety accidents and protect workers' lives. Method: Smart safety and health activities were selected as independent variables (X), and intended safety and anxiety, which are workers' behavioral intentions, were set as dependent variables (Y), attitude and subjective norms, and planned behavioral control as parameters (M). Exploratory factor analysis, discriminant validity analysis, and intensive validity analysis of safety and health activities were used to analyze the scale's reliability and validity. To verify the hypothesis of behavior change, the study was verified through Bayesian model analysis and MC simulation's probability density distribution. Result: It was found that workers who experienced smart safety and health activities at construction sites had the highest analysis of reducing unstable behavior and performing intended safety behavior. The research hypothesis that this will affect changes in worker behavior has been proven, the correlation between variables has been verified in the structural equation and path analysis of the research analysis, and it has been confirmed that smart safety and health activities can control and reduce worker instability. Conclusion: Smart safety and health activities are a very important item to prevent accidents and change workers' behavior at construction sites.

This paper presents the methods to acquire the Safety Certificate from Independent Safety Assessment based on the IEC standard62279 which is commonly applied to railway system for Automatic Train Control(ATC) system in accordance with Urban Maglev project. This also shows approach methods and relative activities for project life- cycle to accomplish and ensure the system requirements of ATC system, RAMS and S/W quality activities. Furthermore, the key tasks conducted with ISA are noted in detail. These kind of activities for software quality of ATC system to obtain S afety Certificate could be a CASE model to improve the quality of domestic railway system and products, and also contribute to the growth of railway business and toward the achievement of overseas' railway signaling markets.

최근 현대사회는 자동차, 철도 및 항공 등 대형 복합 시스템의 체계 속에서 지내고 있으며, 고장 및 사고로 인한 시스템의 안전 설계에 대한 고려와 안전에 대한 인식이 증가하고 있다. 따라서 기존의 시스템공학 프로세스에서 다루는 시스템 설계에 대한 단계별 안전 활동의 강화의 필요성 역시 강조되고 있다. 그 중에서도 시스템 설계의 최종 활동에 해당하는 검증 단계 활동이 제대로 수행되어야만 초기에 의도한 시스템 설계의 안전도 향상을 바라볼 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 안전 활동을 고려한 시스템공학 프로세스의 검증 단계의 개선사항 도출과 모델링을 통해 안전중시 시스템인 철도 차량 운전실 시스템을 대상으로 적용 및 조정 구축에 대한 내용을 기술하고 있다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 향후 품질 향상 및 비용 절감과 데이터의 관리 및 추적기능을 개선함으로써 안전사고 발생 가능성을 줄일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This study is to test the influence of safety management activities and employees' safety awareness on safety behavior in the construction company following the atmosphere of a safety-driven society. Recently, the perspective of many individuals and companies for safety management is changing and the recognition is spreading that physical and conscious investment on the safety of industrial sites are not an useless cost but the vital element to enhance the corporate competitiveness. CEOs have an emphasis on the safety management in their workplace as a top priority. For this study, the data were collected and analyzed from 300 employees of industrial sites. Firstly, the results showed that safety management activities and employees' safety awareness had a positive impact on organizational trust. Secondly, the organizational trust had a positive impact on safety behavior. Thirdly, safety management activities and employees' safety awareness had a positive impact on safety behavior. And also found out the organizational trust had the mediating role between safety management activities and safety behavior, and between employees' safety awareness and safety behavior. The results of this study suggested that safety management activities and employees' safety awareness in the construction companies are very important factors influencing on the safety behavior, and the investment for the safety of the construction company should be continued.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of emotional labor and job stress on patient safety management activities in emergency room nurse. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires from 143 nurses working in the emergency room of small and medium-sized hospitals. As factors influencing patient safety management activities, emotional labor, job stress, demographic characteristics, and work characteristics were investigated. Stepwise multiple regression analysis were used for factors affecting patient safety management activities. There were significant differences in patient safety management activities by age, experience in emergency room, position, work pattern, and intention to move to another department. In the regression analysis, the factors that had a significant effect on patient safety management activities were job stress and choice to work in the emergency room, and the explanatory power of these variables was 27%. It was found that the higher the job stress, the lower the patient safety management activity. In conclusion, it is necessary to manage job stress arrange departments according to individual needs to improve patient safety management activities of nurses in the emergency room of small and medium-sized hospitals.

Followed by government authorized data that Ministry of Education submitted, safety accident at school has been increased year by year. Safety accident occurred 33,834 in 2005, 29,955 in 2004, and 22,722 in 2003. It shows that it has been increased about 12.9% from 2004 and 48.9% in 2003. Level of student's development, students are at the point of not having enough judgement and ability to adapt at emergency situation. They are learned about safety by education and management by teachers but teachers will get heavy burden and anxiety if government doesn't provide more improved support and restraint. On this situation, educational authority can be attacked and it legally charged by nation, owned property can be loss or prosecution can be occurred. Also school safety accident which occurs in these days is working as an negative insecurity element that teachers cannot concentrate on the education.

This research will incorporate cases from U.S public schools to analyze the factors which influences the security within the school and efficient security patterns to suggest an adequate suggestion to elevate domestic school security system. This study is divided into two following models: a serious criminal offense model, which considers crimes occurred on campus as subordinate variables, and a school violence model, which considers as subordinate variables after limiting an act of delinquency and an a group action that can harm the safety of students, although they are not included in the categories of crimes. First, from analyzing the factors which influences security within school, the explanation power of serious crime offense safety model and school violence safety model is measured 12% and 11.3%. In serious crime offense safety model, the safety education for students, among the safety programs provided by schools(t=2.548, p=0.011), parent participation to school management(t=10.694, p=0.000), Security activities on campus(t=3.643, p=0.000), and CPTED activity(t=6.467, p=0.000) are statistically significant, as affecting factors on the safety from serious crimes. Similarly in school violence model, the safety education for students, among the safety programs provided by schools(t=3.228, p=0.001), parent participation to school management(t=12.034, p=0.000), security activities on campus(t=2.663, p=0.000), and CPTED activity(t=3.928, p=0.000) are statistically significant, as affecting factors on the safety from school violence. Second, according to the analytic results on figuring out the optimal pattern to heighten the security activities, the serious offence model's explanatory power was 4.4% and school violence safety model rated 3.9%. With the serious offense safety model, the activity factors which showed statistically significant in influencing safety from serious offenses were cooperation with local police force (t=2112, p=0.035), school policy management (t=3.309, p=0.001), security patrolling activity (t=2.548, p=0.011). In the school violence model, security activities initiated by the school which showed statistically significant from serious offenses were cooperation with local police force (t=2.364, p=0.018) and policy management (t=4.142, p=0.000). In accordance with the result of this study, education for students rather than education for teachers is more positive in terms of the safety on campus, and parent participation, like education, is consistently needed for the safety on campus. In case of CPTED activity, reinforcing plans should be prepared by intactly accepting examples in the USA. In case of security activity, plans that can increase visibility and reinforce cooperation with local police in a smooth way will provide a positive effect to the safety on campus.

본본 논문에서는 Space Syntax 이론에 기반하여 여성의 안전한 여가활동 경로를 추천하는 어플리케이션을 제안한다. 이 어플리케이션은 접근성, 지역 간 상호관계 등을 바탕으로 한 계산을 통해 추천경로를 만든다. 이는 일반적인 네비게이션이 가지는 최단시간, 최단거리 탐색과는 차별성을 가지며, 안전을 최우선으로 한 경로를 탐색한다. 오늘날 늘어난 여가시간에 따라 사람들의 레저 활동이 많아지며, 따라서 여성의 경우도 참여율에 높아진다. 이 때 여성의 경우 안전적 문제에 있어 레저 활동 장소까지의 경로를 추천하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 제안하는 레저활동과 여성안전에 관련한 어플리케이션은 다양한 위험요소를 염두에 두어 계산을 통해 안전한 경로를 제공하는 알고리듬으로 주관적 선택사항을 적용하여, 자기맞춤형 경로를 선택 가능하게 한다.
