Developing algorithms for providing evacuation and detour route guidance under emergency conditions (재난.재해 시 대피 및 우회차량 경로 제공 알고리즘 개발)

  • The transportation network is a critical infrastructure in the event of natural and human caused disasters such as rainfall, snowfall, and terror and so on. Particularly, the transportation network in an urban area where a large number of population live is subject to be negatively affected from such events. Therefore, efficient traffic operation plans are required to assist rapid evacuation and effective detour of vehicles on the network as soon as possible. Recently, ubiquitous communication and sensor network technology is very useful to improve data collection and connection related emergency information. In this study, we develop a specific algorithm to provide evacuation route and detour information only for vehicles under emergency situations. Our algorithm is based on shortest path search technique and dynamic traffic assignment. We perform the case study to evaluate model performance applying hypothetical scenarios involved terror. Results show that the model successfully describe effective path for each vehicle under emergency situation.

  • Grid is a new Information Technology (IT) concept of "super Internet" for high-performance computing: worldwide collections of high-end resources such as supercomputers, storage, advanced instruments and immerse environments. The Grid is expected to bring together geographically and organizationally dispersed computational resources, such as CPUs, storage systems, communication systems, real-time data sources and instruments, and human collaborators. The term "the Grid" was coined in the mid1990s to denote a proposed distributed computing infrastructure for advanced science and engineering. The term computational Grids refers to infrastructures aimed at allowing users to access and/or aggregate potentially large numbers of powerful and sophisticated resources. More formally, Grids are defined as infrastructure allowing flexible, secure, and coordinated resource sharing among dynamic collections of individuals, institutions and resources referred to as virtual Organizations. GRID is an emerging IT as a kind of next generation Internet technology which will fit very well with agrometeorological services in the future. I believe that it would contribute to the resource sharing in agrometeorology by providing super computing power, virtual storage, and efficient data exchanges, especially for developing countries that are suffering from the lack of resources for their agmet services at national level. Thus, the establishment of CAgM-GRID based on existing RADMINSII is proposed as a part of FWIS of WMO.part of FWIS of WMO.

  • With the launch of the new government in 2017, National Planning and Advisory Committee (NPAC) announced the five-year plan for the government administration and the 100 national tasks. The Ministry of Science and ICT (Information & Communication Technology) (MSIT) and other government agencies issued work plans for 2018, including R&D plans. Analyzing the changes in government policy will be a major task of public research and development institutions. This study analyzed the changes of the R&D policy of the new government and the R&D policy direction and strategic plan of the government departments related to the geoscience and mineral resources in 2018. The results of the analysis are as follows: 1) to lead the innovation growth through the 4th industrial revolution, 2) to supply clean energy and to cope with climate change in the environment and energy field, 3) to improve the quality of life through problem solving in the life of the people and disaster prevention. Considering the investment direction of the government, it is necessary to lead the geoscience and mineral resources R&D to solve problems of the society and to grow by the science and technology.

  • The emergence of the fourth industrial revolution is rapidly changing the conventional society and the industry, eroding the boundaries among the technology, culture, and finance. In the mobility industry, as the engineering-based industry converges with the information technology, the mobile space is changing from mobility or safety-centric space into space where the passengers can consume infotainment or contents services. The contents evaluation of the future mobility is conducted in terms of usability or technology acceptance aspect, but according to the trend analysis, the mobility industries, such as vehicle OEMs, it is necessary to evaluate the emotional or sensibility factors for the development of their future mobile space design. Herein, this research study evaluates which sensibility factor should be evaluated in priority to develop the contents interaction in the future mobile space. Thus, using Patrick Jordan's Four Pleasure Model, the priority evaluation has been conducted among 116 Korean drivers. As a result of the statistical analysis and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), it has been found that first, it is necessary to evaluate psychological, ideological, social and physical sensibility in the respective order, and second, it is necessary to evaluate based on the contents user type.

Efficient Pseudo Random Functions for the e-seal Protection Protocol (e-seal 보안 프로토콜을 위한 효율적인 Pseudo Random Function)

  • e-seal은 RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) 기술을 사용하여 원격에서 자동으로 봉인상태를 확인할 수 있는 컨테이너 봉인 장치를 말한다. RFID의 특징상 반도체 칩에 기록된 정보를 제 삼자가 쉽게 판독 및 변조할 수 있다는 취약점으로 인하여 활성화되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. ISO에서는 RFID의 취약점을 보안하기 위한 표준작업(ISO 18185)을 진행 중이다. 이 중, ISO 18185-4는 e-seal에 저장되는 자료나 리더와의 RF통신에서 데이터 보호를 위한 표준이다. 이와 관련된 연구로는 인증 프로토콜과 ISO 18185-4를 위한 보고서로 제출된 보안 프로토콜이 있다. 제안된 e-seal 보안 프로토콜을 적용하기 위해서는 e-seal과 리더 간의 데이터를 암/복호화할 키가 필요하지만, 키 서버를 통해 전달받은 마스터 키를 데이터 암/복호화 키로 바로 사용하는 것은 보안 상의 문제점을 야기할 수 있기 때문에 PRF(Pseudo Random Function)을 이용하여 마스터 키로부터 MTK(Mutual Transient Key)를 유도하고, MTK를 암/복호화 키로 사용해야 한다. 기존의 PRF는 일방향 해시 함수(MD5, SHA 등)를 기반으로 하는 HMAC[2. 3]을 일반적으로 사용하였다. 그러나 일방향 해시 함수는 e-seal과 같은 제한된 자원을 갖는 환경에 적합하지 않다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 e-seal 보안 프로토콜을 위한 효율적인 PRF을 제안한다. 기존의 일방향 해시 함수 기반이 아닌 블록 암호화 알고리즘을 기반으로 하는 MAC을 이용하여 PRF을 보다 효율적으로 구현하였고, 블록 암호화 알고리즘은 AES를 선택 합성체 $GF((2^4)^2)$을 통해 하드웨어 모듈을 최적화 하였다. AES를 기반으로 하는 MAC은 HMAC에 비해 면적 및 처리율에서 뛰어난 결과를 보여주었다.<0.01).이상의 연구 결과, cook-chill생산 시 녹차 추출물의 첨가가 미생물적 품질유지에 효과가 있다고 사료되는 바 본 연구결과를 기초로 급식소에서 음식 생산 시 녹차 추출물 및 천연 항균성 물질 첨가에 따른 미생물적 품질 및 관능적 품질검사를 통한 레시피 개발에 관한 지속적인 연구가 수행되어야 하겠다.다.다리다보니 점심시간을 활용할 수 없게 되는 문제점에 대한 재검토가 필요하다. 따라서 차후 학교급식의 안전성 확보를 위한 급식환경 개선의 일환으로 식당공간 확보 시 신속한 시간 내에 급식이 가능하도록 넓은 공간과 쾌적한 환경의 식당 조성에 대해 관심을 기울여야 할 것으로 사료된다. 이상 여부를 반영하는 임상증상의 빈도가 높은 청소년기 남녀 중학생의 경우 아침과 저녁의 결식빈도 및 외식과 간식의 빈도가 높았고, 아침식사의 질과 체형만족도가 낮은 것으로 나타나 청소년의 건강과 식습관 및 체형만족도가 상호 관련성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구 결과는 성장기 청소년의 건강 유지를 위하여 바람직한 식습관의 중요성을 재인식할 수 있었으며, 올바른 식습관 확립을 위한 영양교육의 중요성이 재확인되었다.경제적일 것으로 판단된다.er 90 % of good relative dynamic modulus of elasticity due to fineness of formation caused by the increase of the unit powder content and the improvement of flowability, without regard to the replacement of crushed stone fines.   • To improve the efficiency and safety of railway systems, the train control system has considerably evolved from the ground-equipment-based control system (e.g. track circuit, interlocking system, etc.) into the on-board-equipment-based control system. In addition, this train control system enables the rolling stock to intelligently control the trackside facilities by introducing information and communication technologies (ICT). Accordingly, since the ICT-based train control system simplifies the railway system (i.e. the heavy ground-equipment can be removed), an efficient and cost-effective railway system can be realized. In this paper, we perform a feasibility test of the ICT-based train control system using a simulation. To this end, we implement a test-bed consisting of prototype machines of on-board/ground equipment and introduce an integrated operation scenario for the train control. The simulation results satisfy all the requirements of train operation according to the scenario and show the effectiveness of the proposed train control system.

  • A turnout system which permits trains to pass from one track to another is a combination of the switch, the crossing, lead rails which are necessary to connect the switch and the crossing, two guard rails and a switch machine for operating the switch. A turnout is the sole moving part among the railway components and has complex configuration, so the safety has always been raised an issue. In Korea, it is planned to adopt the high speed tilting train, which operates at the maximum speed of 200km/h, at conventional lines by the year of 2010. However, for the application of the tilting train to conventional lines, it is prerequisite to establish a stable turnout system allowing the tilting train to pass through it without reducing speed. Therefore, the improved turnout system for the speed-up of conventional lines has been developed and the prototype of the turnout system has been constructed. In this study, simulation of noise and vibration around the improved turnout system was performed in order to predict the generation level of noise and vibration due to passing of the tilting train through the turnout system.

  • Recent proliferation of advanced technologies such as wireless communication, mobile, sensor technology and so on has caused significant changes in a traffic environment. Human beings, in particular drivers, as well as roads and vehicles were advanced on information, intelligence and automation thanks to those advanced technologies; Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and autonomous vehicles are the results of changes in a traffic environment. This study proposed considerations when designing a simulation model for future transportation environments, which are difficult to predict the change by means of advanced technologies. First of all, approximability, flexibility and scalability were defined as a macroscopic concept for a simulation model design. For actual similarity, calibration is one of the most important steps in simulation, and Physical layer and MAC layer should be considered for the implementation of the communication characteristics. Interface, such as API, for inserting the additional models of future traffic environments should be considered. A flexible design based on compatibility is more important rather than a massive structure with inherent many functions. Distributed computing with optimized H/W and S/W together is required for experimental scale. The results of this study are expected to be used to the design of future traffic simulation.

Experimental Study of a Seismic Reinforcing System without Power Interruption and Movement for Electric Panel on the Access Floor (무정전-무이설 방식의 전기판넬 내진보강시스템 시험연구)

  • The seismic reinforcing system is developed to prevent damage to electric panels which are installed on the access floor and are essential to the operation of various basic facilities such as electric power and communication etc., from earthquakes. The seismic capacity of seismic reinforcing system is verified through the shaking table test. The seismic reinforcing system is intended for the electric panel on the access floor, and installation is possible without movement and power interruption of the electric panel. The enveloped response spectrum is adopted considering the location of the electric panel in the building as input motion for the shaking table test. The shaking table tests are carried out with two electric panels that can be considered representative of general electric panels, and two types of access floors such as wood panel and steel panel, which are commonly used in the industrial field. As a result of tests, it is confirmed that the seismic reinforcing system secures the seismic safety of electric panels by preventing the overturning of electric panels during and after the shaking table tests. In the event that the seismic reinforcing system is applied to the electric panel on the access floor, damage to the electric panel from an earthquake can be effectively prevented, which can greatly contribute to the stable operation of domestic basic facilities.

Development of RFID terminal for the Blind to Voice Guide Pharmaceutical E-pedigree (시각장애인을 위한 RFID 의약품 음성안내 단말기 개발)

  • We developed a RFID terminal to voice guide the blind who have difficulties in reaching out to the pharmaceutical information. In this work, we used RFID technology to instruct the pharmaceutical information to the blind. The voice guidance reader was made to read the RFID tag attached to the drugs and announced the pharmaceutical information matching to the tag specific ID. We had the reader to obtain the pharmaceutical information from the ezDrug site operated by Korea Food & Drug Association. The voice guidance reader was fabricated as necklace type for the easy carry, and we added mp3 player as dual uses. ARM series Cortex M3 chip was used for the reader's core chip and low power MFRC523 chipset of NXP was used to construct RFID circuit. MFRC523 chip uses low power to meet the mobile application. We used VS1003B MP3 Decoder IC to make the voice generation circuit and CC2500 chipset for the wireless communication to the pharmaceutical information server. We also developed the system that can support ISO 14443A type and ISO 14443B type so that the system can be used to extend to various RFID protocols. Utilization of this system can conveniently convey the pharmaceutical information to the blind and reduce the drug abuse.
