A Study on Architecture Design of Power Supply for SIL4 Safety Related System (SIL4 안전관련 시스템에 적합한 전원장치의 구조 설계에 대한 연구)

  • This paper introduces the architecture of the power supply in order to achieve the safety integrity target for power supply which is a part of safety related system. The integrity level for safety is set 4 and according to the IEC 62425 which is standard for railway application the architecture design is conducted and process for design is developed. The procedure for design consists with 6 steps. The architecture of power supply that is able to keep the safety integrity against of failure of power supply is derived through the analysis and it is suggested that the power supply adopted the result in this paper is suitable to apply in safety system. Also, the failure frequency that is a quantitative value for the power supply is proposed.

  • For the purpose of evaluating the availability of manifold safety devices installed in the LPG(Liquefied Petroleum Gas) refuelling stations, the quantitative analysis of the frequency on BLEVE(Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion) scenario was performed. The amount of frequency reduction was the way of assessing safety devices availability. In this analysis, we could find out what sorts of safety devices are essential to satisfy acceptable social risk criteria and are prioritized to install in the future.

  • This paper is the product development of environment and safety. In growing society, the bicycle is need to have a common goals for consumers convenience and theft prevention. The bicycle is movable means. But as times passed, that bicycle is strongly recommended to replace other vehicles because that is not produced to air pollution and energy(gas, diesel etc) insufficiency. As workers using a bicycle are increased, road for only bicycle is made by additionary. The bicycles happens to several moving accidents such as car accidents because of signal mismatch between bicycle users. However, using the development products of this paper, many accident problems for bicycle can be solved. As increasing of bicycles numbers, the high cost bicycles are too increased. So, the more theft of bicycle is also happened. The developed products(turn signal system and theft prevention system) through this study kept your bicycles from more convenience and more safe.

A Study on the Optimization of Suspension Characteristics for Improving Running Safety of Railway Vehicle (철도차량 주행안전성 향상을 위한 현가장치 최적화 연구)

  • A suspension is the most prior apparatus to decide vehicle's running safety and ride comfort, also the suspension stiffness is the most important parameter for the designing of the vehicle. Providing the strong stiffness with the primary suspension in order to improve the running safety with high speed, but it causes a problem with a curve running performance of a railway vehicle. Therefore, many studies deal with the optimal value of suspension stiffness. In this paper, we aim to optimize the suspension system to improve running safety by varying stiffness values of railway vehicle suspension. We have proceeded an analysis by design variables which are position, length, width, stiffness and damping coefficients of primary and secondary suspension to optimize the suspension characteristics. As a result of the optimization, we verified that the derailment coefficients of inside and outside of wheel are decreased in comparison with initial model.

  • The Safety Transmission Unit(STU) is a critical device used in railway systems to ensure safe and efficient operations by providing communication between trains and railway infrastructure. It is responsible for transmitting vital information and commands, allowing for the control and coordination of train movements. The STU plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety of passengers, crew, and the overall railway network. This paper presents the design and testing of a STU for the next-generation wireless-based train control system. An analysis of european and domestic standards was conducted to review requirements and ensure the design of a STU for the train control system meets international standards. Based on this analysis, hardware and software designs were developed to create an internationally recognized level of safety for the communication device. To verify the functionality of the STU, a simulator was developed, and it was confirmed that the designed features were successfully implemented.

  • 철도 신호제어장치들은 각자 고유기능을 수행함으로써 철도시스템의 안전운행을 도모하고 있다. 따라서 대부분의 신호장치는 바이탈한 제어장치로서 안전측 동작(Fail-safe)을 보장하기 위하여 기존에는 기계적 또는 전기적인 계전기 로직에 의해 각 장치 고유의 기능을 수행하였다. 그러나 최근에 들어 전자, 컴퓨터, 통신 기술의 발달에 따라 철도신호제어장치들도 전자화된 장치들로 대체되어가고 있는 추세이다. 이처럼 신호제어장치들이 전자화되어감에 따라 각 장치간 인터페이스를 위한 링크도 디지털 통신채널로 대체되어가고 있다. 따라서 이러한 각 장치간 인터페이스를 위한 통신링크에 대한 중요성이 증대되고 있다.   • High pressure devices are used widely. Interest in rupture disc to people is the increases in protect of facilities and people. A rupture disc consists of mainly three parts: holder, plate and vacuum support. Rupture discs are rusted or destroyed by diverse environments. Rupture discs are made from STS 316L stainless steel because of its high corrosion resistance and yield strength. In this study, modeling of a rupture disc by CATIA V5 and finite element analysis by ANSYS were carried out. The finite element analysis results executed to predict properties of the rupture disc with thickness and height.

  • 철도신호제어장치는 열차의 안전운행을 책임지는 매우 바이탈한 제어장치이다. 이러한 바이탈 제어장치는 최근 들어 컴퓨터 및 통신기술의 발달에 따라 각 장치들간 인터페이스를 통한 통합 시스템화 되어가고 있다. 이에 따라 이들 각 장치들간 인터페이스를 위한 통신 프로토콜 또한 높은 안전성이 요구된다 국내에서 몇 년간의 연구를 통한 이러한 철도신호설비들간 인터페이스를 위한 통신프로토콜에 대한 연구가 이루어 졌으며 이를 통해 표준으로 제정되어 현재 적용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 바이탈한 제어장치인 철도신호설비들간 통신프로토콜의 설계, 검증 그리고 표준화 과정의 분석을 분석하였다. 이러한 프로토콜의 설계 및 표준화 과정의 분석을 통해 높은 안전성이 요구되는 국내 적용 중인 통신프로토콜이 가지고 있는 안전성 특성을 확인하였다.

  • 디지털 카메라란 일반적인 광학 카메라와 달리 렌즈를 통과한 피사체의 영상을 필름이 아닌 1과 0의 디지털 데이터로 메모리에 저장하는 첨단 카메라를 말한다. 따라서 기존의 카메라에는 필수적인 필름이 필요없게 되고 디지털 데이터를 보관할 수 있는 기억장치 또는 데이터를 외부의 기억장치에 전송할 수 있는 전송장치가 필요하다.
