A Study of Effective Privacy Protection System on High Concurrent Transaction Database System (동시 트랜잭션이 많은 데이터베이스에서 효과적인 개인정보보호 시스템 연구)

  • Recently, according to the establishment of personal information protection Act, the public and private organizations are taking a step to protect personal information rights and interests by employing the technical methods such as the access control mechanism, cryptography, etc. The result of the personal information leakage causes a serious damage for the organization image and also has to face with the responsibility by law. However, applying access control and cryptographic approach on the personal information item for every connection to large database system causes significant performance degradation in a large database system. In this paper, we designed and implemented the light weight system using JVM (Java Virtual Machine) for the Oracle DBMS environment which the concurrent transaction occurs many, thereby the proposed system provides the minimum impact on the system performance and meets the need of personal information protection. The proposed system was validated on the personal information protection system which sits on a 'A' public organization's portal site and personnel information management system.

  • A controller who is responsible for visitor's safety makes a decision about measures for visitor safety in human-based decision making process. Many potential accidents that are caused by human error lurk in results of the process. The accidents can be decreased by changing the decision making process from human-based into technology-based. Technology-based decision making process can catch a controller's attention through data filtering, alarm filtering, and so on. So, the controller can get information on occurrence of an unforeseen accident pro-actively. Development of 3D SICS is caused of this needs. This paper shows a methodology of this research, results of up to now, study plan of next year, and contribution of 3D SICS development.

  • 2001. 9. 11 aviation terror showed us that there are lots of problems in aviation security and we need efficient counter-plans. According to this event, many countries are coming up with various countermeasures. After first hijacking in 1950, the aviation terror is occurring with more various methods until these days. And the scale is bigger than former so they're making much bigger damages. Especially, the case of 9.11 terror attracted people's eye of the world because of enormous casualties and damages. It aroused many people's self-awakening therefore as an important factor the security is given much weight in the aviation safety. In order to keep the step like this tendency and the development of aviation security, beginning with America lots of countries of the world are pursuing diverse aviation security's counter-plans of new side. At this point of time, for our development in aviation industry we should make efficient aviation security countermeasures. In this study, We compared our aviation security activities with major countries after 9.11 terror.

Constructing a Database Structure for the Domestic LP Gas and Natural Gas Accidents and its Analysis (국내 LP 및 천연가스사고 Database 구축 및 분석에 관한 연구)

  • We have garnered 3,593 data of gas [Natural Gas (NG) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)] accidents reported for 16 years from 1991, and then analyzed the accidents according to their types and causes based on the classified database. According to the results the gas leak has been the most common accident followed by the explosion and then fire accidents. The most frequent accident-occurring locations for fire, explosion and leak are recognized around the valve, hose and pipeline, respectively. In addition, we have applied the Poisson analysis to predict the most-likely probabilities of fire, explosion and release in the upcoming 5 years. From this research we have assured the successive database updating will highly improve the anticipating-probability accuracy and thus it will play a key role as a significant safety-securing guideline against the gas disasters.

  • Recently gene fabrication foodstuffs, remained chemicals and heavy metal on the agricultural product gets prominent, consciousness of consumers is getting higher regarding safety and quality problems of consumer products. A measurement should be done immediately because the research concerned about this has not been made compared to the foreign countries such as Europe, United States, Japan and so on has quickly accepted production record system. In this paper, we designed all the procedures among the production, postharvest, packing, storing should be done without any kinds of harm that could be happened from the farm to the dinner tables of each family as possible as we can. And also we defined the data system in accordance with the domestic agricultural system and realized the production trace system on the base of Good Agriculture Practices(GAPs) in order to let the consumers confirm the procedures themselves.

  • Many organizations operate security systems and manage them using the intergrated secutity management (ISM) dechnology to secyre their network environment effectively. But current ISM is passive and behaves post-event manner. To reduce cost and resource for managing security and to remove possbility of succeeding in attacks by intruder, the perventive security management technology is required. In this paper, we propose PRISM model that performs preventative security management with evaluating the security level of host or network and the sensitivity level of information asset from potential risks before security incidents occur. The PRISM can give concrete and effective security management in managing the current complex networks.

  • 전력계통에서 역률개선을 위해 사용하는 전력용 콘덴서(이하 SC bank)는 전력계통의 운전상 전압 제어와 역율개선이라는 두가지 측면에서 매우 중요한 전력설비이다. 또한 최근에 전력산업 구조조정에 의해 발전분야가 분할되는 시점에서 SC bank의 역할의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SC의 고장원인이 무엇인지를 현장조사를 통해 수행하였다. 그 결과 SC bank를 구성하고 있는 리액터, 콘덴서, PT, 혹은 CT 흑은 방전코일의 열화원인이 대부분 차단기의 투입서지와 차단서지에 의해 발생되고 있음을 확인하였다 또한 기존의 보호시스템은 SC Bank의 보호에 적합하지 않음을 검토하였다 차단기 서지에 대한 대책으로는 투입시 전압영점투입과 중성점 저항기의 취부로 투입서지 및 차단서지를 효과적으로 감소되는 현상을 모의와 현장실측을 통해 확인하였다. 또한 기존의 보호방식이 과전류와 과전압 부족전압 혹은 CT와 PT를 이용한 차동방식에 의해 셀의 경련변화를 감지하고 있으나 이 경우 보호맹점이 존재하게 됨을 검토하였다. 이러한 보호상의 문제점을 보완하는 방법으로 SC bank는 임피던스가 늘 일정하는 점에 착안하여 전압과 전류를 이용하여 임피던스의 변화량을 감시하고, 또 한가지 방법은 SC bank의 운전특성상 무효전력만을 발생시킨다는 점에 착안하여 만일 유효전력 성분이 SC bank에서 감지된다면 소자의 이상이나 비정상적은 전류경로가 된다는 결론에 도달하고 유효전력감시를 통한 SC bank의 열화감지가 가능하다는 결론에 도달하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 3가지의 방법, 즉, 첫째 영점투입차단기 채택, 둘째, 중성점 저항기의 도입, 셋째 새로운 보호방식에 의한 기존의 보호맹점의 보완을 제안하였다. 위의 새로운 제안을 현장에 적용하는 경우 제작사의 제작불량을 제외한 운전상의 SC bank의 문제점 및 고장빈도는 현저히 감소하게 될 것으로 사료된다.

Study on the Automatic Strip Layout Design of Shield Connector (쉴드 커넥터 스트립레이아웃 자동설계에 관한 연구)

  • A shield connector is an automotive electrical component that is used to connect electrical wiring in a vehicle. This part is made by progressive pressing using a phosphor bronze material with high electrical conductivity. The shape of the product is not complicated, but plastic forming techniques are required, such as deep drawing and bending, as well as shearing techniques such as piercing and notching. The finite element method was used to model the process. The strip layout design stage of the progressive die makes it possible to examine the thickness change, the stability of the forming process, and the spring-back. As a result of this analysis, it is possible to predict the correction values for the tendency of cracks, wrinkles, and incomplete plastic deformation, and to identify possible problems in advance. As a countermeasure against the forming error caused by the drawing process analysis, the drawing shape was modified and applied in the process design. For effective material utilization, a 3D strip layout was designed using an optimized blank shape based on nesting. The results improve the crack stability and spring-back of shield connector products produced through progressive pressing.

  • When a fire breaks out, it is frequent that large sized miserable death is happened by seriousness of poisonous gas and peculiarity of space because the building construction is recently more complex and diverse. So early countermeasure in preparation for evacuation escape linked directly with a loss of lives is pressing. Because escape light that mark fixing one-way of existing way is not efficiently extricated refugees from dangers when a fire breaks out, construction of system that can extricate refugees from dangers and suppress early a fire by grasping correctly fire point is required urgently. When a fire breaks out, all escape lights connected with fire sensor and reception group which have ill aiming in these point will lead people to safe emergency entrance of opposite direction of place that a fire is broken out after being calculated the direction and speed of flame and smoke. There is the purpose of my research in development of artificial intelligent directional escape light that can mark direction to most suitable pull-out and assist in early extinguishing a fire.

  • Currently, the itemized box loading operation at the Agriculture Products Processing Center which distributes agricultural products for the region is carried out manually. The process of loading agricultural products requires great manpower and had been resolved through the part-time employment of the residents of farm villages. However, recently it has become quite difficult to secure manpower as the aging within the rural community has been intensified. Hence, the necessity for countermeasures such as facility automation or use of robots have become necessary. This study suggests an automatic robot system for the itemized loading of apple boxes at the Agriculture Products Processing Center. The suggested method is to design and develop equipment such as a conveyer, robot, and bar code reader. In addition, a sorting plan, operational control, generation of control information, and software module that could monitor the inside of the Agriculture Products Processing Center is needed. After test-operating and evaluating the developed system, the existing manual work would be replaced with the automated robot system in order to enhance work efficiency and resolve safety issues.
