The objective of this study was to examine the effect of storytelling-used drawing activities on young children's creativity and linguistic expressiveness, thus working out basic data to help young children's development of creativity and linguistic expressiveness. Study subjects were 20 4-year old children at D Child-care Center in Anyang City, Gyeonggi-do. The experiment group conducted storytelling-used drawing activities, whereas the control group carried out drawing activities after viewing famous paintings and hearing fairy tales. Study findings are as follows: First, young children in the experiment group who carried out storytelling-used drawing activities presented significantly higher improvement in creativity than children in the control group did. Regarding the sub-variables of creativity, the score of the experiment group was higher in sensitivity, originality and flexibility than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant. Second, young children in the experiment group who carried out storytelling-used drawing activities presented significantly higher improvement in linguistic expressiveness than children in the control group did. Regarding the sub-variables of linguistic expressiveness, the score of the experiment group was higher in the area of 'story development after seeing paintings' and 'connected story development after seeing paintings' than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant. In conclusion, the significance of this study seems to be in that it verified storytelling-used drawing activities have positive effects on young children's improvement of creativity and linguistic expressiveness, and confirmed storytelling-used drawing activities are an effective technique to improve young children's creativity and linguistic expressiveness.
To determine food preferences and nutrients intake of nursery school children, 199 children, ages 1 to 6 years, were assessed with a structured questionnaire completed by their mothers. The questionnaire included questions related to dietary habits, mother's interest in the child's health, family history of diseases, etc. The nutrients intake was measured by 24-hour recall method. Children's weight and height were measured by trained investigators on the same day. For analysis purposes, the subjects were grouped into underweight, normal and overweight groups based on the z-score of weight for height. Only 58.3% of the subjects were grouped into the normal weight group. On the other hand, 19.1% were in the underweight group and 22.6% were in the overweight group. Forty four percent of them showed unbalanced dietary habits such as preference for picky foods, 40.0% of them disliked vegetables, and 46.7% disliked minor grains other than rice. Children in the underweight group showed a higher score of inappropriate dietary habits compared to those of normal or obese groups. The level of nutrients intake of the subjects was higher than the Korean RDA value in general, except for Ca, calories, and Zn. However, 87.4% of the children showed a higher intake level than 125% of KRDA in protein, and 18.2% and 41.4% of them showed a lower intake level than 75% of KRDA in Fe and Ca, respectively. Children in the underweight group showed a higher percentage of eating less than 75% KRDA in niacin compared to those of the normal or overweight group (p<0.05) and we found a similar tendency in Fe, Zn and Vitamin $B_1$ intake.
The purpose of this study was to investigate of gender difference on dietary behavior and food preferences of elementary school children. This survey was carried out through questionnaire method for 274 male and 257 female of the 6th grade elementary school children in Anyang city. By calculating WLI(weight-length index), 26.9% of students were overweight, and 26.2% were under-weight. Average height of male was 147.9cm and that of female was 148.9cm, and their weight was 40.9 kg and 39.2kg respectively. The average BMI(body mass index) was 18.1 kg/㎡. The self-recognition of health status was different according to gender, male recognized better health status than female. There was no significant difference of parents´ education level and the occupation depending on gender. The 56.7% of students had regularly for breakfast, and 60% for lunch and 42.9% for dinner. The female students had irregular meal time more frequently than male did for dinner(p<0.01). They skipped more breakfast(7.0%) than other meals. Reasons of skipping meal were lack of time to eat(50%), boring side-dishes(17.0%) etc. For snacks, choice depends on taste (55.4%), and they bought at the shop nearby (36.5%) and convenience shop(29.9%). They had a meal outside once a month(42.9%), and selected Korean traditional food(52.5%). For almost all of foods male students´ preference showed higher than female except cucumber. Low score of preference was obtained in such as salted vegetables, soy pastes, and fish(shellfish) groups raw or fermented. The preference level was a little higher in such as vegetables & kimchi group and pot stews. The results assert the importance of nutrition education for the students in puberty. It is necessary breakfast should be taken regularly, and therefore we should carry out the education of importance of nutrition and health for children considering the dietary behavior and food preference for balanced diet.

Due to the sudden drop in the number of students currently, Korea is facing a turning point in the urgent need to revise the school acceptance plan policy. Especially, in the case of the decrease of the number of students, the reckless establishment of a school in a certain area has an adverse effect of further reducing the number of students in the nearby school. The purpose of this study is to provide basic data on the appropriate scale policy through the correlation between the opening school year and the number of enrolled students in 19 out of 1,179 schools. The results of the linear regression analysis are as follows : First, in 19 cities nationwide, 17 cities except Suwon city and Anyang city had a hypothesis that 'the number of new school students is more than the number of existing school students'. Second, not only the results of the analysis of 1,179 schools in Korea, but also the results of regional analysis showed a hypothesis. Third, there are many small schools and oversized schools in the national city. It is necessary to establish an appropriate school policy.
This study was conducted to the early diagnosis of injuries on needles of conifer by acid rain and air pollutants in metropolitan area, Korea. It was executed to calculate of injured index, contact angle measurement, nutrient content analysis in needles, analysis of soil chemical properties from June 1990 to June 1991. The sensitive species (Picea abies, Abies holophylla) for acid rain and air pollutants were used as the study materials. And the results from this study were as follows : Degree of Injured index was divided into three groups in June 1990. The first group (not injured sites) was Kwangnung and Yangpyung. The Second group (slight injured sites) was Inchon, Boramae Park, Kwachun, Seoul Women's Univ., Anyng, and Yangsuri. The third group (serious injured sites) was Namsan, Seoul City Univ., Children's Park, and Kumgok Royal Tomb. But, Inchon, Kwachon area were changed from slight injured areas to serious injured areas in December 1990. As time goes on, the degree of injured gets worse. In contact angle analysis, value of December 1990 was lower than that of June 1990, especially, that of two-year-needle were lower than of one-year-needle. The correlation between injured Index and contact angle was significantly negative. In the result of needle nutrients analysis of Picea abies, Abies hozophylla, Ca, Mg, K contents was higher in December 1990 than that in June 1991 and that of one-year-needle were prominantly higher than that of two-year-needle. In case of wax quantity analysis in injured area, the older the leaf age is, the smaller the contented wax quantity is. In injured area, the higher a leaf age is, the much that of index is. As a result, the method of analysis referred in the former, is applied by a complementary cooperation. That of method is done sustainably in the future, the correct results will be expected.

Now, UTIS collects and provides traffic information by building RSE 1,150(unit) and OBE about 51,000(vehicle). it's inevitable to enlarge traffic information sources which use to improve quality of UTIS traffic information for Stabilizing UTIS's service. but there are missing data sections. And, In this study as a way to overcome these problems, based on BIS(Bus information system) installed and operating in the capital area to develop normal vehicle's link transit time estimation model which is used realtime collecting BMS data, we'll utilize the model to provide missing data section's information. For these problem, we selected partial section of suwon-city, anyang-city followed by drive only way or not and conducted model estimating and verification each of BMS data and UTIS traffic information. Consequently, Case2,4,6,8 presented highly credibility between UTIS communication data and estimated value but In the Case 3,5 we determined to replace communication data of UTIS' missing data section too hard for large error. So we need to apply high credibility model formula adjusting road managing condition and the situation of object section.
Heathcote (1998) identified a systematic, seven-step approach to general watershed planning and management. It consists of 1) understanding watershed components and processes, 2) identifying and ranking problems to be solved, 3) setting clear and specific goals, 4) developing a list of management options, 5) eliminating infeasible options 6) testing the effectiveness of remaining feasible options, and 7) developing the final options. In this study the first five steps of that process were applied to the Anyangcheon watershed in Korea, which experiences streamflow depletion, frequent flood damages, and poor water quality typical of highly urbanized watersheds. This study employed four indices: Potential Flood Damage(PFD), Potential Streamflow Depletion(PSD), Potential Water Quality Deterioration(PWQD) and Watershed Evaluation Index(WEI) to identify and quantify problems within the watershed. WEI is the integration index of the others. Composite programming which is a method of multi-criteria decision making is applied for the calculation of PSD, PWQD and WEI (Step 2). The primary goal of the study is to secure instreamflow in the Anyangcheon during dry seasons. The second management goals of flood damage mitigation and water quality enhancement are also set (Step 3). Management options include not only structural measures that can alter the existing conditions, but also nonstructural measures that rely on changes in human behavior or management practices (Step 4). Certain management options which are not technically, economically, and environmentally feasible, are eliminated (Step S). Therefore, this study addresses a Pre-feasibility study, which established a master plan using Steps 1 through 5.

The purpose of this study is to develop the clothing safety teaching/learning plan in Home Economics based on the health belief model and to examine the effects of the course using the developed teaching/learning plan on the health belief. Based on ADDIE model, 6 clothing safety teaching/learning plans were developed by applying the health belief model. They consisted of three learning factors of 'harmful substances that can be exposed during the production, wear, wash, and storage of clothes and textile products', 'environment friendly fibers' and 'natural detergents'. Then they were implemented on 7 classes in middle school located in Gyeonggi-do Province from August 20 to September 7 in 2018. The health beliefs data collected before and after the course were analyzed with paired t-test with SPSS/win. As a result, the perceived threat(combination of perceived severity and perceived susceptibility), the perceived benefit, and the self-efficacy were significantly improved. And the perceived barrier was significantly reduced. In conclusion, the home economics clothing safety education course using the health belief model was meaningful as the safety education to enable middle school students to practice safe clothing life from harmful substances. The results of this study are expected to be helpful for activating safety education in home economics.
This paper proposes a scheme to reduce spectral distortion in PAN-sharpening which produces a MultiSpectral image (MS) with the higher resolution of PANchromatic image (PAN). The spectral distortion results from reconstructing spatial details of PAN image in the MS image. The proposed method employs Spectral Adjustment and Anisotropic Diffusion to make a reduction of the distortion. The spectral adjustment makes the PAN-sharpened image agree with the original MS image, but causes block distortion because the spectral response of a pixel in the lower resolution is assumed to be equal to the average response of the pixels belonging to the corresponding area in the higher resolution at a same wavelength. The block distortion is corrected by the anisotropic diffusion which uses a conduct coefficient estimating from a local computation of PAN image. It results in yielding a PAN-sharpened image with the spatial structure of PAN image. GSA is one of PAN-sharpening techniques which are efficient in computation as well as good in quantitative quality evaluation. This study suggests the GSA as a preliminary PAN-sharpening method. Two data sets were used in the experiment to evaluate the proposed scheme. One is a Dubaisat-2 image of $1024{\times}1024$ observed at Los Angeles area, USA on February, 2014, the other is an IKONOS of $2048{\times}2048$ observed at Anyang, Korea on March, 2002. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme yields the PAN-sharpened images which have much less spectral distortion and better quantitative quality evaluation.
Earworm is very useful animal in soil ecosystem, however it is harmful for golf courses because they introduce many cast on turfgrass that reduces turf uniformity and play quality. However, no information has found on earthworm diversity and seasonal fluctuation in different Korean golf courses. In this study, we focused to carry out earthworm species composition and seasonal population structure in turfgrass of golf courses. During spring and fall season survey with direct digging and tea saponin drenching sampling in 5 different golf courses, 6 species under 3 families of earthworms were collected. Earthworm species composition and density was different among the golf courses. Aporrectodea caliginosa in Lumbricidae was dominant species in Anseong and Dongrae Benest Golf Club; however Amynthas carnosus in Megascolecidae was dominant species in Anyang and Glenrose Golf Club. Ap. caliginosa was collected only aclitellum in July and Am. carnosus was collected aclitellum and clitellum in August in golf courses. Seasonal population of earthworm was different depending on earthworm species (Am. hupeiensis was the highest in August and Ap. caliginosa was in April) however small number of collected earthworm species were not dominant trend in golf courses.
