This article describes (1) 2 and 3 dimensional electromagnetic finite element models for an active heteropolar radial magnetic bearing, (2) the procedure for obtaining the bearing stiffnesses by simulating the models and (3) the reviews of the models by comparing an experimental test to the ideal closed loop analysis with the stiffnesses calculated from (2). The 3 dimensional model for the magnetic bearing may be very effectively applied to several types of magnetic bearings.

It is very important to increase defence capability rapidly against any surprise attack. This can be done by fast deployment of mobilization reserved resources. This paper is forcused on optimal allocation of special reserved resources. First of all, the location of special reserved resources is identified and then the location of combat and mobilization units and amount of requirement resources of each unit are identified. Finally, optimal allocation of the special reserved resources is obtained by Out of Kilter method.

The Purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of the space composition of Korean traditional residence by analysing the meaning and function of traditional residence's An-Daecheong of late Chosun dynasty, as well as its interrelationship with other spaces. It can be analysed. then that such factors as the weak economic ablility of the current agricultural society and reduction of the number of family member have made the function of the An-Daecheong weak, and that such factors as westernization of life style and modernization of residence facilities have reduced the functional interrelationship of the An-Daecheong. An-Madang and Kitchen.

This article suggests an improved method for more accurate load forecast for the power system. The authors propose an improved load forecast expert system based on expert's know-how. A field manual for the load forecast can be made using proposed method. The authors expect this article could give a guidance to those who wish to be load forecast expert.

1987년 창립이래 전자식안정기 규격제정 및 신기술 개발의 선두주자로 업계의 발전과 조명산업의 발전을 위해 노력하고 있는 (주)중앙엔룩스의 안정수 대표이사를 찾아가 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 인터뷰의 서두에서 안대표는 "최근 수년사이 야경을 밝히는 조명 및 청계천 경관조명과 각 산업분야에 사용되는 특수조명 등을 보면 조명사업의 향후 발전 가능성은 무한히 큰 분야라고 생각된다"며, 조명 산업의 발전가능성과 그 가능성을 (주)중앙엔루그가 이끌어 가겠다는 포부를 밝혔다.

This study deals with roughing planning by cross sectional information generated from sculptured surfaces. Bicubic Bezier surface is adopted as sculptured surfaces in this paper. The system consists of 3 pstyd : 1) modeling sculptured surface, 2) reconstruction of cross-section in 2D coordinates, 3) determination of roughing tool path with structural data. The system is developed by using BIM-PC in the environment of Auto CAD R11, AutoLISP and MetaWare C. The proposed system shows an efficient algorithm for roughing planning with cross sectional information.

음이온계와 양이온계의 계면활성제를 사용하여 천연세정성분인 리모넨의 유화특성을 고찰한 결과 두 계열 모두 만족할 만한 결과를 나타내지 못하였고, 교반속도는 1500 rpm이상에서는 영향이 거의 없었으며, 유화온도는 상온에서도 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 유사한 구조와 물성을 가지는 리모넨과 ${\sigma}$-피넨을 비교한 결과 리모넨이 우수한 것으로 나타났으며 무독성인 IPA를 첨가한 경우가 첨가하지 않은 것보다 양호한 결과를 얻었다.

최근 인터넷의 발전으로 인해 설계환경이 독립적인 환경에서 점차 협업이 가능한 설계환경으로 확대 되어가고 있다. 이는 지리적인 차이를 극복할 수 있는 유용한 방법으로 제시되고 있다. 일반적으로 다수의 협업 설계자들은 협업설계를 하는 과정에서 설계 데이터와 어셈블리 모델을 공유한다. 이러한 데이터의 처리와 활용방안에 따라 협업설계의 효과가 달라지므로 그 중요성은 커지게 된다.(중략)

1980년을 전후하여 카오스연구가 물리학에서 왕성하게 이루어졌다. 미국의 물리학자 파이겐바움(M. J. Feigenbaum)이 보편상수를 발견한 것이(1978) 중요한 계기가 되었다. 파이겐바움의 보편상수는 카오스현상에서 공통적으로 발견할 수 있다. 보편상수를 탐구하기 위해서는 주기, 배가, 파이겐바움 분기도에 대한 이해가 필요하다. 프로그래밍을 통하여 일반적으로 소개하고 있으므로, 프로그래밍에 대한 깊은 이해없이는 분기도를 탐구하기 어렵다. 프로그래밍을 통해서는 나타나는 결과만을 이해할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 학습자가 프로그래밍 이전에 엑셀의 기능을 이용하여 파이겐바움 분기도를 그릴 수 있는 방법을 제시하고, 파이겐바움의 주기에 대해 엑셀을 이용하여 시각적으로 이해할 수 있도록 한다.
