아바쿠스 학교에 대한 연구 (A study for Abacus School)

  • The Abacus schools were created by the needs of merchants who had accumulated wealth through trades in Italy during the Renaissance. Teachers in the Abacus school taught practical mathematics mainly used in commerce and trade, and the schools had courses in the fields of management and accounting today. This Abacus school also served as an educational institution, but also provided the opportunity to develop into today's mathematics. In this paper, we investigate about the background and role of the Abacus school.

수정 Gurson 모델을 이용한 균열성장 해석 (Analysis of crack growth by modified Gurson model)

  • Modified Gurson model (Gurson-Tvergaard-Needleman model) was used to analyze crack growth in M(T) and C(T) specimens. A commercial finite element code ABAQUS/Explicit is used to account for total failure of material point by cavity coalescence, and crack growth was simulated by finite element extinction. Crack growth resistance curve was obtained by calculating J-integral. Crack growth under residual stress was investigated.

ABAQUS 를 이용한 수소확산 해석 (Coupled Analysis of Hydrogen Transport Within ABAQUS)

  • In this paper, the coupled model with hydrogen transport and elasto-plasticity behavior is introduced. This model is implemented to the general-purpose FE code, ABAQUS, via the user-defined subroutine UMAT and UMATHT. In UMAT, the spatial gradients of hydrostatic stress and hydrogen induced deformation are calculated, and then are passed into UMATHT. Heat transfer equation within UMATHT is substituted by hydrogen transport equation including the effects of stress states and strain hardening. To validate this model, the finite element analyses coupled with hydrogen transport and mechanical loading are performed for the boundary layer specimens with low and high strength steel properties. The FE results are compared with the previous studies by Taha and Sofronis (2001).

  • 수소 확산과 탄-소성 거동이 결합된 모델은 이미 제시되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 수소확산에 미치는 인자들과 그 영향에 대해 연구하였다. 각 인자들의 영향을 비교하기 위해 저탄소강 재료의 균열이 있는 무한 평판 모델에 대해 수소확산과 기계적 하중이 연계된 유한요소 해석을 수행하였다. 유한요소 해석 결과는 Taha와 Sofrinis의 연구(2001) 결과와 비교하여 검증하였다.

  • A three dimensional transient thermo-elastic frictional contact analysis of airplane brakes is performed. The velocity history of the airplane during braking is calculated from energy conservation law. ABAQUS code is used in the analysis, and user subroutines supported in the ABAQUS are coded to calculate the frictional heat generation between pads and linings attached to back/pressure plate and rotor, respectively. Numerical results are compared with experimental ones.

  • An infinite element for impact problem has been developed using ABAQUS/Standard UEL. 4-node plane strain element was considered, and the constitutive equation was derived from properties of propagation plane body waves. The element acts as unbounded domain to the plane waves generated by impact. The numerical method was tested for the simulation of plate impact. The results show the effectiveness of the infinite element.

  • In this study, to create circular holes on an inclined conic face, we developed a novel process of vertical piercing on the plane before drawing, instead of applying an expensive cam-piercing method. The pierced holes are deformed during the drawing, and their shapes are affected by the size of the center hole. Using the Abaqus CAE program, the deformation tendency of the holes, according to the diameter of the center hole, was identified, and the diameter for securing the roundness of the side holes were determined through actual experiments. The developed process was successfully applied to mass production of the part, and a cost reduction is expected.

  • 국내의 내화성능평가는 대부분 사양적설계 방법인 품질시험을 통해 이뤄지고 있다. 하지만 시험 특성상 많은 비용과 시간을 요구하며 다양한 건축구조에 대한 내화성능평가에는 어려움이 많다. 따라서 본연구에서는 성능적 설계를 위한 연구로 유한요소 구조해석 프로그램인 ABAQUS를 사용해 H형강 휨재를 대상으로 변수에 따른 열응력 해석을 통해 내화성능을 검토하며, 하중비별 한계온도를 제안한다.

  • Little attention has been paid to static-strain-dependence of dynamic complex modulus of viscolelastic materials in computational analysisso far. Current commercial Finite Element Method (FEM) codes do not take such characteristics into consideration in constitutive equations of viscoelastic materials. Recent experimental observations that static-strain-dependence of dynamic complex modulus of viscolelastic materials, especially filled rubbers, are significant, however, require that solutions somehow are necessary. In this study, a simple technique of using a commercial FEM code, ABAQUS, is introduced, which seems to be far more cost/time saving than development of a new software with such capabilities. A static-strain-dependent correction factor is used to reflect the influence of static-strains in Merman model, which is currently the base of the ABAQUS. The proposed technique is applied to viscoelastic components of rather complicated shape to predict the dynamic stiffness under static-strain and the predictions are compared with experimental results.

  • 본 연구는 터널의 유지, 보수, 보강에 필요한 가설공사용 스페이스 트러스 프레임 구조물을 소개한다. 기존 가설공사 시공방식과 장비들의 현황 및 문제점을 분석하고, 터널 설계의 핵심 구성요소를 파악함으로써, 제안된 새로운 가설 시공기술 시스템을 개발하는 과정을 순차적으로 설명한다. 그리고 개발된 가설 시스템을 발주처, 시공사, 터널 이용자 관점에서 사용성 및 경제성을 분석하고, 구조적인 안전성 검토와 최적단면 산정 평가를 상용 유한요소 해석프로그램인 ABAQUS 6.5로 구현하여 본 가설 시스템의 현장적용 기반을 구축한다.
