A Program-Plagiarism Checker using Abstract Syntax Tree (구문트리 비고를 통한 프로그램 유형 복제 검사)

  • Earlier program plagiarism check systems are performed by using simple text, attribute or token string base on match techniques. They have difficulties in checking program styles which have nothing to do with program syntax such as indentation, spacing and comments. This paper introduces a plagiarism check model which compares syntax-trees for the given programs. By using syntax-trees, this system can overcome the weekness of filtering program styles and have advantage of comparing the structure of programs by syntax and semantic analysis. Our study introduces syntactic tree creation, unparsing and similarity check algorithms about C/C++ program plagiarism checking for internet cyber education and estimate plagiarism pattern.

Development and Evaluation of an English Speaking Task Using Smartphone and Text-to-Speech (스마트폰과 음성합성을 활용한 영어 말하기 과제의 개발과 평가)

  • This study explores the effects of an video-recording English speaking task model on learners. The learning model, a form of mobile learning, was developed to facilitate the learners' output practice applying advantages of a smartphone and Text-to Speech. The survey results shows the positive effects of the speaking task on the domain of pronunciation, speaking, listening, writing in terms of students' confidence, as well as general English ability. The study further examines the possibilities and limitations of the speaking task in assisting Korean learners improve their speaking ability, who do not have sufficient exposure to English input or output practice due to the situational limitations where English is learned as a foreign language.

A stemming algorithm for a korean language free-text retrieval system (자연어검색시스템을 위한 스태밍알고리즘의 설계 및 구현)

  • A stemming algorithm for the Korean language free-text retrieval system has been designed and implemented. The algorithm contains three major parts and it operates iteratively ; firstly, stop-words are removed with a use of a stop-word list ; secondly, a basic removing procedure proceeds with a rule table 1, which contains the suffixes, the postpositional particles, and the optionally adopted symbols specifying an each stemming action ; thirdly, an extended stemming and rewriting procedures continue with a rule table 2, which are composed of th suffixes and the optionally combined symbols representing various actions depending upon the context-sensitive rules. A test was carried out to obtain an indication of how successful the algorithm was and to identify any minor changes in the algorithm for an enhanced one. As a result of it, 21.4 % compression is achieved and an error rate is 15.9%.

English Learning Application by Animation and Multimedia Software (애니메이션과 멀티미디어 소프트웨어의 영어 학습 연구)

  • With the development of computer technology, the multimedia mediums that allow for animated videos, conversational illustrations are increasingly receiving attention for materials for educational purposes. Accordingly, there is a need to research whether multimedia resources and material is more effective compared to traditional educational material and resources. This study aims to compare traditional English reading and writing learning methods with learning methods using educational multimedia mediums such as illustrations or animation. Students were divided into a experimental group and a control group, and during 6 months the groups were exposed to different educational resources and on the basis of student evaluation feedback and grades, a new approach to English education is offered.

Performance Analysis of a PCI-Bus based RAID System (PCI-버스 기반 RAID 시스템의 버스 성능 분석)

  • A large RAID system may consist of several PCI bus segments since a PCI bus segment can connect only a limited number of disks. In this paver, PCI bus transactions in a RAID system are classified in terms of the initiator and the target of the transaction. Also, the data transfer time of each transaction type is analyzed. By using the analysis results, read and write performance of two RAID system configurations are formulated. From simulation of the RAID system using the DEVS formalism, performance of the configurations are evaluated and compared with the analytical results while changing various system parameters.

  • 반도체 소자의 크기가 수십 나노미터 영역으로 줄어들면서, 메모리 소자 또한 미세화를 위해 새로운 기술을 요구하고 있다. 1T DRAM은 하나의 트랜지스터와 하나의 캐패시터 구조를 가진 기존의 DRAM과 달리, 캐패시터 영역을 없애고 하나의 트랜지스터만으로 동작하기 때문에 복잡한 공정과정을 줄일 수 있으며 소자집적화에도 용이하다. 또한 SOI (Silicon-On-Insulator) 기판을 사용함으로써 단채널효과와 누설전류를 감소시키고, 소비전력이 적다는 이점을 가지고 있다. 1T DRAM은 floating body effect에 의해 상부실리콘의 중성영역에 축적된 정공을 이용하여 정보를 저장하게 된다. floating body effect를 발생시키기 위해 본 연구에서는 SOI 기판을 사용한 MOSFET을 사용하였는데, SOI 기판은 불순물 도핑농도에 따라 상부실리콘의 공핍층 두께가 결정된다. 실제로 불순물을 $10^{15}cm^{-3}$ 정도 도핑을 하게 되면 완전공핍된 SOI 구조가 된다. 이는 subthreshold swing값이 작고 저전압, 저전력용 회로에 적합한 특성을 보이기 때문에 부분공핍된 SOI 구조보다 우수한 특성을 가진다. 하지만, 상부실리콘의 중성영역이 완전히 공핍되어 정공이 축적될 공간이 존재하지 않게 된다. 이를 해결하기 위해 기판에 전압을 인가 후 kink effect를 확인하여, 메모리 소자로서의 구동 가능성을 알아보았다. 본 연구에서는 상부실리콘의 두께가 감소함에 따라 1T DRAM의 메모리 특성변화를 관찰하고자, TMAH (Tetramethy Ammonuim Hydroxide) 용액을 이용한 습식식각을 통해 상부실리콘의 두께가 각기 다른 소자를 제작하였다. 제작된 소자는 66 mv/dec의 우수한 subthreshold swing 값을 나타내며 빠른 스위칭 특성을 보였다. 또한 kink effect가 발생하는 최적의 조건을 찾고, 상부실리콘의 두께가 메모리 소자의 쓰기/소거 동작의 경향성에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다.

  • 분산제어시스템은 지리적으로 분산되어 있는 제어장치들을 제어시스템과 HMI(Human Machine Interface) 소프트웨어를 통하여 감시제어 한다. 사용자는 HMI 소프트웨어를 사용해 전체 시스템을 제어한다. HMI 소프트웨어는 통신, 저장 화면 갱신, 데이터 분석 등 모든 작업을 수행한다. 분산제어시스템의 특성상 항상 동작 상태에 있어야 하기 때문에 HMI 소프트웨어의 부담은 고장 가능성을 증가시킨다. HMI 소프트웨어의 작업은 실시간 특성을 기준으로 나눌 수 있다. 작업은 실시간 데이터를 이용하는 감시와 레포트(report)와 데이터 분석을 위하여 저장된 데이터를 이용하는 작업으로 나눌 수 있다. 본 논문이 제안한 분산제어시스템에서는 제어시스템(PCS)과 제어감시 소프트웨어(HIIS)가 작업의 특성에 따라 동적(dynamic)으로 연결된다. HIIS는 동적연결을 통하여 디스크 쓰기 동작을 줄이고 제어시스템으로부터의 데이터 전송을 감소시킨다. 결과적으로 제어시스템과 HMI 소프트웨어의 작업량을 줄임으로서 분산제어시스템의 성능향상과 유효성을 증가시킨다. 본 논문에서는 HMI 소프트웨어의 작업(task) 특성을 고려한 분산 제어시스템 아키텍처를 제안하고 실험을 통하여 아키텍처 성능을 평가하였다.

  • The rapid growth of ubiquitous technology has increased the demand of storage capacity in mobile computing. iSCSI(Internet Small Computer Interface), a virtual storage protocol would be one of the possible solutions to resolve this problem. However, the insecure nature of this protocol makes it vulnerable to malicious attacks. In this paper, we aims to design and propose a new secure lightweight iSCSI-based virtual storage scheme for mobile devices. Suitable security mechanisms are considered in the design of our proposed solution in order to overcome existing security problems in iSCSI. Relevant experiments are tarried out and the results revealed that the efficiency of proposed algorithm in which it introduces over 100% Read/Write performance improvement compared with the IPsec approach.

A Case Study on Rater Training for Pre-service Korean Language Teacher of Native Speakers and Chinese Speakers (한국인과 중국인 예비 한국어 교사 대상 채점자 교육 사례)

  • This study pointed out the reality that many novice Korean language teachers who lack rater training are scoring the learners' writing skill. The study performed and analyzed a case where pre-service teachers were educated in order to explore the possibility of promoting rater training in a Korean language teacher training course. The pre-service teachers majoring in Korean language education at the graduate school scored TOPIK compositions and were provided feedback by the FACETS program, which were further discussed at the rater meeting. In three scoring processes, the raters scored with conscious of own rating patterns and showed positive change or over correction due to excessive consciousness. Consequentially, ongoing training can improve rating ability, and considering the fact that professional rater training is hard to progress, the method composed of FACETS analysis and rater training revealed positive effects. On the other hand, the rater training including native Korean and non-native(Chinese) speakers together showed no significant difference by mother tongue but by individual difference. This can be interpreted as a positive implication to the rating reliability of non-native speakers possessing advanced Korean language abilities. However, this must be supplemented through extended research.

  • This study was conducted to verify the effects of an school library program using picture books and graphic organizers on first grade children's literacy abilities and book lending, and to evaluate the program with mothers' and mentors' responses. Twenty eight first graders of an elementary school in Kyunggi province participated in this program. Their reading and writing abilities were tested, and their book lending behaviors were compared before and after the whole program. The participants explored 20 picture books by reading aloud and expressed their responses on the graphic organizers over 11 weeks. The findings of this study after the whole session was complete were as follows. First, participants significantly improved in reading comprehension and writing assessed in terms of fluency, format, organization, expression, contents, and themes. Second, they lent books more frequently from the library than before. Third, participants' mothers showed great satisfaction for the program in that it enhanced child's reading ability, reading attitude, and mother's interest in children's books and library, and mentors also reported very positive impact of this program to themselves.
