The development of digital technology is causing great changes in dentistry. This digital workflow combines various 3D data in the prosthetic treatment area for diagnosis and prosthetic manufacturing. The planned diagnosis and the fabrication of prosthesis in a virtual patient formed by synthesizing digital data can simulate the results of prosthetic treatment more intuitively than conventional methods, thereby increasing the predictability of aesthetic prosthetic treatment. In this case report, functionally and aesthetically satisfied clinical results were obtained by fabricating a fixed partial dentures through a digital workflow on congenital missing teeth in the maxillary anterior region.

Dental trauma is common in active children and adolescents. Among them, in the case of ankylosis due to avulsion, diagnosis through clinical examination is important, and the treatment is important for esthetic prosthetic restoration after adulthood. This case is a case of esthetic prosthetic restoration of maxillary anterior teeth through decoronation and implant. After that, space was maintained for prosthetic restoration using a decoronated crown. After becoming an adult, precise implant placement and esthetic prosthetic restoration were possible using guide surgery. For soft tissue support, the temporary crown were replaced by changing the contours of the temporary crown, and the final esthetic prosthesis was fabricated by digital wax-up.

치관부 파절이나 치아결손 혹은 치아형태의 이상이나 변색된 치아등으로 보철치료가 요구되는 경우 저작, 연하, 발음등의 회복과 심미적인 회복이 중요한 목적이 되며, 전치부에서는 심미성이, 구치부에서는 기능적인 회복이 더욱 강조된다. 보철치료후 치료목적을 달성하고 건강한 구강내의 상태를 유지하기 위해서는 보철물이 지대치 및 주위조직에 생물학적으로 조화되어 병적상태를 유발시키지 않아야 하며, 이를 위해서는 시술전에 올바른 진단과 적절한 치료계획을 세우고, 지대치 형성, 인상채득 및 임시관 장착, 금속관 및 가공의치 제작, 구강내의 시적(try-in), cementation등 모든 과정을 주위조직과 관련하여 주위 깊게 행하여야 한다.

Severely worn dentition causes various complications such as loss of tooth structure, discoloration, pulp complications and loss of function and aesthetics. In this case, the patient showed particularly severe attrition in the anterior teeth and lack of space for restoration. The amount of vertical dimension was determined based on the diagnostic wax up, and the patient's adaptation was evaluated by using a removable occlusal splint for 6 weeks. Thereafter, the coordination of the muscular nervous system, aesthetics, temporomandibular joint were re-evaluated for 3 months by restoring the fixed provisional restoration. Through the above treatment process, the final restoration was completed with full mouth fixed prosthesis using monolithic zirconia, and functionally and aesthetically stable results were obtained.

The treatment of patients with severe periodontitis should be proceeded step-bystep through an accurate diagnosis of each patients' individual tooth and with a strategic treatment plan. Implant-supported fixed prosthetic restoration has the advantage of high patient satisfaction and stable vertical dimension compared to the removable partial denture. However, multiple teeth defect areas lacking hard tissue may be disadvantageous in aesthetic failure and longer treatment time. In addition, it takes a certain period of time to manufacture and install a conventional fixed prosthesis, and during this process, the provisional prosthesis must satisfy the mechanical, biological, and aesthetic requirements of teeth. The purpose of this article is to describe the fabrication of implant-supported fixed prosthesis through a step-by-step approach in a partially edentulous patient.

Resin-bonded fixed partial denture (RBFPD)as known as Maryland bridge is is a well-known conservative method for its minimized invasion of the teeth for an anterior single tooth edentulous area. Despite of its various advantages, RBFPD was not widespread because of its high debonding rates, non-esthetic look or weak structure for material property. Currently, with the introduction of zirconia to dental material for RBFPD, Maryland bridge entered upon a new phase. Zirconia surmounts poor esthetics of metal framework, having proper strength, and overcomes ceramic's structural weakness, being sufficiently esthetic. In this case, edentulous area of maxillary left lateral incisor was restored using zirconia resin-bonded fixed partial denture. Restoration of missing tooth in anterior area was achieved using non-invasive and esthetic prosthesis, then we report this case as satisfactory results were obtained for both the operator and the patient.

Successful treatment outcome of esthetic dentistry often requires team approach including orthodontist, surgeon and restorative dentist. Clinician should consider various treatment options to restore missing teeth, especially in anterior region. In this article, interdisciplinary treatment of restoring congenitally missing lateral incisor and unrestorable molars will be presented.
