Adult patients who need implant and prosthodontic treatment often need treatment to improve the existing occlusion through orthodontic treatment for long-term stable treatment results. However, due to non-aesthetic and uncomfortable orthodontic treatment with orthodontic brackets and wires, many adult patients give up treatment even though they know the need for it. Recently, as digital dentistry has affected all areas of dentistry, clear aligner orthodontic systems have begun to be widely used, and their use is increasing in adults and old-aged people due to the esthetic advantage and convenient oral care. SERAFIN clear aligner system developed in Korea has been developed with the aim of implementing a functional occlusion harmony and is used not only for partial orthodontic treatment but also comprehensive orthodontic treatment. This patient presentation is shown the treatment using SERAFIN clear aligner system for the treatment of patient with TMD, severe extrusion of maxillary second molars, and extracted teeth.

Brand community refers to a group of consumers who are passionate about the brand, and actively participate in enhancing the brand value. This study examines the impact of brand community experience on brand satisfaction, brand trust, and brand value co-creation, focusing on BTS's fan community, 'ARMY'. The results show that the value of aesthetic sensitivity, self-consistency, and intellectual fulfillment, obtained through brand community experiences, had a positive impact on brand satisfaction and brand trust, and brand value co-creation. The implications of this study are as follows: First, rather than company-centered traditional marketing campaign strategies, future brand marketing strategies should focus on nurturing brand communities through which encourage emotional communication and solidarity between consumers and companies. Second, in order to enhance brand community experiences, it is necessary to provide various opportunities to satisfy customers' intellectual curiosity and self-consistency as well as sensory stimuli related to the brand.

본 연구에서는 사용자 중심의 지능형 자켓을 디자인하고 평가하는 인구의 첫 단계로 사용자 요구 분석을 실시하였다. 인지 지능형 자켓에 대한 사용자들의 태도 및 요구를 파악하는 사용자 그룹 인터뷰가 실시되었다. 인터뷰 참가자 집단은 도전감(challenge)을 준거로 신기술을 받아들이는 태도에 따라 얼리어댑터(early adaptor)와 래가드(laggard)로 나뉘어 졌으며 각각의 그룹에서 중요하게 생각하는 지능형 자켓의 중요 요소는 서로 다르게 나타났다. 얼리 어댑터의 경우 컴퓨터의 연장선상에서 기능적 요소를 중요하게 생각하였고, 래가드의 경우 옷의 연장선상에서 심미성과 즐거움의 요소를 보다 더 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 지능형 자켓의 초기 디자인 컨셉 방향은 얼리 어댑터와 래가드가 요구하는 각각의 요소에 대응하는 주제로 건강과 오락을 선정한 후, 이 주제에 맞는 구체적인 어플리케이션 아이디어를 사용자 인터뷰 및 아이디어 서술을 통해 수집하였다. 건강과 관련해서는 사람의 생체신호를 체크하는 기능이 운동복 및 잠옷의 결합된 형태로, 오락의 관련해서는 사람의 동작이나 자세를 교정하는 기능이 운동복 및 잠옷과 결합된 형태로 디자인된 지능형 자켓에 대한 요구가 수집되었다.

감성적 제품이 소비를 자극하는 시대가 도래함에 따라, 선진기업은 성숙기 ICT 산업 돌파구로 감성전달 기술에 주목하여, 시장 차별화에 주력하고 있으며, 성능 및 가격 위주의 시장전략에서 사용자 편의성과 만족도를 극대화시키는 소비자 감성 지향형 산업으로 재편을 꾀하고 있다. 진보된 ICT 기술과 심미적인 라이프 스타일 디자인을 통해 사용자와 기기가 교감하는 디지털 인터페이스를 제공하는 감성 UX(User eXperience) 기술은 새로운 형태의 의사소통 방식과 감정전달 메커니즘을 제시하여 사회구성원의 현재 정서를 인지하고 감정의 정화/승화/억제를 보조하여, 가족 및 사회 네트워크 자원과의 유대감을 확고히 함으로써 구성원의 삶의 가치를 향상시키고, 유비쿼터스 환경과 문화 속에서 사람과 정보를 보다 밀접하게 이어주는 매개가 될 것으로 전망하고 있다. 본 고에서는 우리나라가 이미 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖고 있는 모바일 기기, 디지털 TV, 디스플레이를 중심으로, 미래 감성 ICT 생태계의 기반이 되는 감성 UX 기술의 현재의 모습을 살펴보고, 향후 발전 전망에 대해 기술한다.

본 연구는 향의 감성 구조를 밝히고, 향 선호도를 예측하는 감성요인을 규명하며, 향에 대한 자율 신경계 반응을 밝히는 것이 목적이다. 향에 대한 주관적인 감성을 측정하기 위하여, 25개의 감성 형용사로 구성된 향 감성 측정 척도를 개발하였다. 개발된 이 척도를 이용하여 lavender, lemon, rose, jasmin, peppermint의 다섯 가지 향에 대해 대학생 50명을 대상으로 향 감성 평가를 실시하였다 향에 대한 감성 구조는 심미성, 강도, 자연성, 여성성-남성성, 개성, 중량감의 여섯 요인으로 구성되었다. 향에 대한 자율 신경계 반응 측정은 대학생 20명을 대상으로 lavender, lemon, rose, jasmin, peppermint 향에 대해 실시하였다. 향에 대한 자율 신경계 반응 측정 결과, PPG 반응은 남녀 모두 lavender, lemon 향에서 유의미하게 감소하였다. 남자의 경우, PPG 반응은 rose, peppermint 향에서도 유의미하게 감소하였고, SKT 반응은 lavender, jasmin 항에 대해서 유의미하게 증가하였다.

공기청정기 산업은 중국의 급속한 산업화로 인하여 대기오염이 증가되는 2010년 이후부터 중국 시장에서 빠르게 성장하고 있다. 중국 시장에서 소비자들의 요구가 다양해짐에 따라서 소비자가 원하는 공기청정기의 디자인이 무엇인지에 따른 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구로 중국에서 판매되고 있는 대표적인 공기청정기 제품의 디자인을 조형성, 심미성, 기능성에 대해 분석한 결과, 형태는 사각형과 원통형의 단순하며 시각적 균형감이 있어야 하고 색채는 무채색으로 제품의 안정감과 고급스러움이 있고 공기를 정화하는 기능뿐만 아니라 가습, 살균, 음악 등 다양한 기능이 있어야 함을 알 수 있었다.

지난 몇 십 년간 한국사회는 급격한 도시화와 시-공간 압축을 겪었다. 이러한 변화는 한편으로는 정체성 혼란을 심화시켰으며, 다른 한편으로는 여가시간의 증대를 초래하고 있다. 이 정체성 혼돈과 여가의 증대 경향이 대중들로 하여금 ‘삶의 질’요구를 제기하게 하였다. 이 논문에서는‘삶의 질’향상이 자연과 장소에 대한 문화적 감수성 회복을 통하여 이루어질수 있다고 주장한다. 여기서 문화적 감수성이란 자연과 장소에 대한 심미를 의미한다. 16세기의 위대한 유학자 퇴계 이황의 경관독해처럼, 유교적 자연미는 숭고미가 아니라 자연합일 감성이다. 유학자들은 이러한 자연에 자신을 합일(정체화)하는 감성을 가지는 것을 최선의 일상적 실천으로 삼았다. 생생불식하는 자연의 모습을 ‘천지의 마음’으로 보고, 그것을 체득하는 것에 자기수양의 궁극적 목적을 두었기 때문이다. 퇴계는 자연합일이 아니라 거주 과정에서 형성된 인간-자연 간이 감성적 연계에 관한 것이다. ‘삶의 질’추구는 인간과 자연생태계 간의 심각한 단절을 극복하기 위한 참된 거주경험에 대한 욕구이다. 우리는 유학자의 ‘자연합일’감성으로부터 진정한 거주경험을 배울 수 있다.

Ectodermal Dysplasia is a genetic disorder caused by the abnormal development of two or more structures derived from the ectodermal layer. As an aspect in dentistry, ectodermal dysplasia is characterized by hypodontia, conical or peg-shaped teeth, reduced salivary secretion and decreased vertical dimension. These unfavorable oral conditions make children to have difficulties with mastication, esthetics, and even in social activities. This case report presents an alternative oral rehabilitation treatment of a 4-year-old boy with ectodermal dysplasia. A removable space maintainer with artificial teeth in maxillary arch was delivered according to the initial treatment plan. However, the child failed to adapt the appliance because of his masticatory habit. Then a fixed-type space maintainer was delivered on the patient's esthetic demand and it restored function, esthetics and self-esteem of the patient. The treatment described here suggests that individually customized considerations are essential for the oral rehabilitation of a patient with ectodermal dysplasia.

Ectodermal dysplasia is a genetic disease which shows various congenital dysplasias in tissues differentiated from the ectoderm. As the most common type of the ectodermal dysplasia, hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia(HED) shows dysplasia mainly in the hair, fingernails, teeth and the skin. Symptoms are more severe in males than in females and heterozygous females are usually normal showing no symptom. The treatment for these patients differ according to individuals, but since patients can easily become depressed socially and emotionally due to a decrease in mastication and speech function caused by multiple loss of teeth as well as some aesthetic problems, an early treatment is required. In a case, with a 10 years-old boy diagnosed with HED which shows partial edentia of the maxilla, and the edentia of the mandible in the pediatric dentistry department of the Chosun University Dental Hospital, a fabrication of denture resulted in the recovery of mastication and speech function and aesthetic improvement due to an increase of the face height.

Ectodermal dysplasia is a hereditary disease characterized by a congenital dysplasia of one or mote ectodermal structures. Characteristic manifestations Include scanty hair and eyebrows, pigmented and hyperkeratinized skin around the eyes and mouth, frontal bossing with prominent supraorbital ridges, nasal bridge depression and dental anomalies. Hyperthermia or unexplained high fever as a result of the deficiency of sweat glands is common medical history. Findings of intraoral structures are anodontia or oligodontia with conical crowns. Consequently, generalized spacing and loss of vertical dimension of occlusion. Interdisciplinary approach has been performed to treat a 10-year old boy with ectodermal dysplasia. Orthodontists and a prosthodontist worked together on this case, and the result was satisfactory.
