This study is a qualitative study on the workplace experience of electronic resource acquisition librarian in university libraries. The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning of their task and roles, new change of their role. For this study, we conducted in-depth interviews with 9 electronic resource acquisition librarian in academic libraries and applied phenomenological research method. As result of analysis, 3 catagories were appeared from 11 themes as data analysis. These catagories were characterized as follows: 'coping with structural problems of the real obstacles', 'enduring of psychological pressure', and 'growing as professional with competency'. It is expected to further study on competency for electronic resource acquisition librarian.

This study applied hermeneutic grounded theory suggested by Rennie to understand general meaning of adoption decision process of 7 non-married mothers. At the end of the analysis, 191 meaning units, 46 subcategories, and 11 hermeneutic categories were constructed. The core category that threads throughout the adoption decision process was represented as "living with a scar left by the duality of motherhood; repudiating and embracing." The adoption decision process emerged as recognition of pregnancy, avoidance of reality, searching for adoption, escalation of confusion, determination and rationalization or forfeiture. Based upon our research, we suggested that the adoption decision process of non-married mother was another way of practicing motherhood, and we proposed that we need to develop a psycho-social support program to improve the lives of non-married mothers.

The purpose of this study was to explore the meaning of the experience of Mucopolysaccharidosis patients receiving Enzyme Replacement Therapy(ERT). A qualitative research design was adopted. The participants were 7 patients diagnosed with MPS who is receiving ERT for several years. Data were collected through in-depth interviews from 1 July 2018 to 22 July 2018 for seven adult patients with MPS receiving ERT. Individual interviews were recorded, and transcribed data were analyzed using the inductive method of content analysis. The final 4 categories and 15 subcategories were identified. The 4 categories of the experience of Mucopolysaccharidosis patients receiving ERT were "Physical and psychological changes through ERT", "Continuous tunnel called ERT", "Accepting the reality" and "Cautious hope". This study provides deep insight into the experience of Mucopolysaccharidosis patients receiving ERT. Medical staff including nurses and related organizations should concern their distress during ERT as well as physical symptoms.

To understand 'Moving up the charts' as a dynamic phenomenon in the K-pop entertainment industry, this study specifically analyzed the 'Moving up the charts' of 「Rollin'」 sung by 'Brave Girls'. First, the context and process related to 「Rollin'」 were described in detail, and the performance as a sound source and business were described. Subsequently, six factors were analyzed and presented as causes for 'Moving up the charts': 'Existence of specific possible triggers', 'Attractions of content itself', 'Inflow of new male fans', 'Turning weaknesses into strengths as idol', 'Psychological empathy with stories of real group' and 'Fast response and communication of agency'. Due to the influence of 'Moving up the charts', two changes were presented: 'Expansion of popularity and interest and expansion beyond songs' and 'Forming a consumer group with high purchasing power'. Through this, this study discussed the meaning, role, and possibility of 'Moving up the charts' in the K-pop entertainment industry. In the future, it will be necessary to recognize 'Moving up the charts' in the music market as a remarkable phenomenon, and to understand the importance of new idol consumer class as well as the use of related media such as YouTube.

It is necessarily for a counselor's role to vary according to the cultures. While an autonomy is stressed in Western horizontal society, sociability is emphasized in Korea which is a vertical authoritarian society. What is more, a lot of people look to a counselor for elder's role as a teacher or a fosterer as well as a therapist. The two basic framework of Reality Dynamic Counseling which has been developed as a counseling approach for Korean are 'presentization for problem' and 'elder's role of a counselor'. An elder's role of counselor showed in real counseling case is illustrated by 'narrative methods' in this study. The 'story making methods' as one of qualitative research methods is more useful than a protocol method which has been used in studying counseling case, because it has conciseness for original text of dialogs and commentary for counseling process. The seven characteristics of Reality Dynamic Counseling such as grasping the real cause, understanding mind,, emphasizing interpersonal factor, emphasis on role, utilizing confrontation, emphasizing the relationship of parent-child, and facilitating sociability are reflected in such an elder's role of counselor.

This study was performed on purpose to consider the charade function of props in directing animation. The prop is gradually expanded its role and scope in modern animation. Its scope covers dramatic factors, creating and changing characters, the means of psychological description or emotional expression, mise-en-scene, montage, creating products etc. Like this, the prop has an important function emotionally or indispensably in human life. Thus, the prop should be a subject that can speak to audiences or viewers, not worthless and silent subject. Hence, the prop should be recognized as a charade having productional function. Nevertheless, the prop has been unnoticed up to now. The function of props should be valued hereafter. The prop itself is meaningless, but it always speaks to audiences on the screen.

Objectives : Internet addiction is a newly appeared addictive phenomenon that is defined as 'difficulty in real life due to internet over-use', 'excessive time spent on the internet or replacement of genuine real relationships with superficial virtual ones' or 'weakness in self-control about internet use and if discontinued, fallen in psychological confusion and anergic state'. This study was aimed to compare the internet addiction rate, demographic factors, computer using patterns, anxiety, depression, and internet self-efficacy and outcome expectancy between Korean middle and high school students in three areas - Seoul, Cheonan, and Rural areas - that were different in economic, cultural, and geographic state. Methods : Subjects are consisted of middle and high school students in Seoul, Chunan, and Rural areas(N=1718). Self-rating questionnaire included demographic data, Korean Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Korean Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS), questions for internet-using pattern, Korean version of Internet Addiction Scale invented by K. S. Young, Internet Self-efficacy and Out-come Expectancy Scale. Results: In this study, prevalence of internet addiction was 2.9%. There was no significant difference found in prevalence of internet addiction among three areas. In all subjects, there were significant differences in anxiety, depression, internet self-efficacy and outcome expectancy, leisure style, places of internet use, internet connecting method, and insight on internee addiction. But, in addicted group, there was no significant difference among three areas. Conclusion: This study suggested that the difference in economic, cultural, and geographic state was not related to prevalence of internet addiction. Although there were significant differences in anxiety, depression, self-efficacy associated with internee use, leisure style, places of internet use, internet connecting method, insight on internet addiction among three areas, there were no significant difference in addicted group among three areas. So, we concluded that the difference in economic, cultural, and geographic state did not influence the prevalence of internet addiction, and despite the difference in economic, cultural, and geographic state, people in three areas were equally influenced by internet addiction.

This study intended to understand how the use of social welfare services and the satisfaction from the use affect poor children's psychosocial adjustment. Especially, it focused to find out whether the use of satisfied services has an independent effect on poor children's psychosocial adjustment when other relevant variables are controlled. Participants are 904 poor children from 16 nationwide cities/provinces who receive financial sponsorship from Korea Welfare Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Among them, 8.2% is from youth-headed homes, 22.7% is from grandparent-care homes, 8.2% is from relative foster homes, 1.8% is from non-relative foster homes and 59.1% is from other poor families. The results of this study are as follows: 1) According to MANOVA, poor children who received 2 or more satisfied social welfare services are significantly different from those who received 1 or no service in their combined psychosocial adjustment subcategories. Delinquency among the subcategories is the most influencing variable in combined differences. 2) Controlling sex, age, family structure and other variables that are considered to be related to delinquency in previous research, the use of satisfied services is still the significant variable in decreasing delinquency among poor children. 3) Interaction effect between the use of satisfied services and parental supervision was statistically significant. Under the low level of parental supervision, the use of satisfied services has a significant effect on the decrease of delinquency. However, under the high level of parental supervision, the use of satisfied services has little effects. From these results, we found out that the use of satisfied social welfare services is a very significant factor influencing to prevent or decrease delinquency among poor children. Also we found out that it is critically important for poor children who receive the low level of parental supervision to have good-quality social welfare services in order to prevent delinquency.

It seems that Internet based communication has been settled down in everyday life. Internet based communication studies also have been done and they proposed that internet based communication modal differs from other communications modal. One of the major themes about internet based communication was the effect of internet based communication on relationships. Early studies suggested that internet has negative effect on life and relationships, although it has positive effect on economics and information distribution. Because there is relative anonymity, People and Researchers thought that people easily could be exposed to negative situations like pornography, instant relationship, negative reply and soon. However,Recently there have been on going un-solving arguments about effect of internet based communication.From the negative perspective, Internet based communication is negative to relationship, because internet based communication could displace face to fact communication and old off-line relationships. However, from the positive perspective, researchers focused on the motivation and purpose of internet users. In this paradigm, people could expand their life and relationships using internet because internet could remove the various restrictions for relationship. Moreover they also suggested that people could enlarge their relationships because they could easily disclose theirselves in anonymity. However, No conclusion has been drawn yet and there needs some organization of two standpoints. Accordingly, This study is integrating the two perspectives and proposing future direction of internet based communication and relationship.

This study investigated the navigation ability of patients with MCI in Virtual Environments(VE) and on the visual functioning. The participants consisted of elderly adults with/without MCI. Neuropsychological tests(RCFT, BVRT, TMT, and Digit Span), the Groton Maze Learning Test(12trials), and the VE navigation learning task(6 trials) were performed. As a result, there were significant group differences for the RCFT and BVRT, but not for the GMLT. For the VE task, there was a significant difference between the MCI and normal group and no interactions between the groups and trials were found. The VE task was correlated with The RCFT, the BVRT, and the GMLT and omnibus the RCFT and the BVRT accounted for 45% of VE performances. Thus, we concluded that patients with MCI are inferior to VE navigation and visual retention/memory play a role in navigation abilities.
