The purpose of this study was to identify latent profiles of multicultural adolescents' psychological outcomes (school participation, self-esteem, and difficulty related to multicultural identity) depending on their perception of the parent-child relationship. A total of 5,540 samples from the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study (MAPS) conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute in 2018 were analyzed by using Latent Profile Analysis and one-way ANOVA. The best-fitting model identified five groups according to their perception of the parent-child relationship: (1) father low-mother average (6.5%), (2) father average-mother low (2%), (3) father low-mother low (18.6%), (4) father average-mother average (31.2%), and (5) father high-mother high (41.7%). According to the results of one-way ANOVA, the father high-mother high (41.7%) group of adolescents showed more school participants and higher self-esteem and multicultural identity than the other profiled groups. The father average-mother average (31.2%) group of adolescents also scored higher than the other three groups (father low-mother average (6.5%), father average-mother low (2%), and father low-mother low (18.6%) of adolescents). The results of this study imply that improving multicultural adolescents' perception of their parent-child relationships would be important in improving psychological outcomes.

The mean score of social support was 2.76 for 4 full marks, compliance was 3.20 for 5 full marks, and psychosocial adjustment was 2.26 for 4 full marks. 2. Hypothesis 1 : "The higher the social support degree, the higher the compliance degree of the rheumatoid arthritis patient". It was supported(r=0.54, p<0.001). Hypothesis 2 : "The higher the compliance degree, the higher the psychosocial adjustment degree of the rheumatoid arthritis patient". It was supported(r=0.34, p<0.001). Hypothesis 3 : "The higher the social support degree, the higher the psychosocial adjustment degree of the rheumatoid arthritis patient". It was supported(r=0.24, p<0.05). 3. In general, the spouse group compared to other groups was demonstrated as the most dependable group for patients to trust and expect support. And the sons and daughters group was shown higher than other groups in terms of social support(F=4.19, p=0.01). There was no difference in terms of compliance in degree. In the degree of psychosocial adjustment the highly educated group(more than high school) is a little higher than the lowly educated group(F=3.08, p=0.03). In the costs of medical care, the group that could afford was significant higher than the group which could not afford results in terms of the psychosocial adjustment degree(F=3.99, p=0.01). The outcome of this study is that the social support that related rheumatoid arthritic patients had an effect on the following compliance, and the following compliance helps psychosocial adjustment of patients. The present study was designed to examine how much Korean elementary school children used the YouTube, and tested whether the overuse of YouTube might be related to adjustment problems such as low parental warmth, low self-esteem, and low school satisfaction. Two hundred and thirty-eight elementary school students answered a questionnaire enquiring about their YouTube use, parental practice, self-esteem, and school satisfaction. Results indicated that more than half of the participants watched the YouTube at least one hour per day, and 15.6% of them watched the YouTube more than 3 hours per day. Negative relationships between YouTube watching time and parental warmth, self-esteem, and school satisfaction were found. YouTube watching time also partially mediated between parental warmth and adjustment problems. Parental rejection and overprotection were not related to children's YouTube watching time. These study results can be used as seminal data for developing children's YouTube watching guidelines.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine cognitive and psychological characteristics of patients with military service suitability issues compared to the general psychiatric outpatients. Methods : 108 patients who visited psychiatric clinic center due to military service suitability issues and 80 general psychiatric patients were recruited from the Department of Psychiatry of university hospital. ANCOVA and chi-equare test were used to examine differences between two groups. Furthermore, we utilized paired t-test to compare the scrore within military group depending on when they performed the psychological assessment. Results : There were no significant differences between military group and general outpatient group in WAIS-IV scores. However, military group scored remarkably higher than control group on validity scales, F-r and Fp-r whereas they scored lower on validity scale, K-r. Furthermore, military group showed significantly higher on BDI and MMPI-2-RF, EID, RCd, RC2, RC3, COG, HLP, SFD, NFC, STW, SAVE, SHY, DSF, NEGE-r, INTR-r. As a result of comparison within the military group following the periods of assessment, military group did not show the significant differences on the overall scales of MMPI-2-RF. Conclusions : The present study showed that military group tends to report their psychological distress more exaggeratedly. In addition, they had significantly elevated not only emotional distress such as depression and anxiety but interpersonal problem. The implications and limitations were discussed along with some suggestions for the future studies.
The purpose of this research aims to find the changes resulted from the collaboration of colors, harmonies, and dynamics within a music. Through this research model, psychologically change of color and harmony, dynamics have explored to collect the resources for the research of the visual media music therapy program. In video media, music is utilized as non-verbal communication in many areas. The connection between melodies and colors, especially, is one of the most effective instrument to reduce the gap between realities and imagination, thus leading emotional inspiration. Gim's(Guided Imagery and Music) model of musical therapy strives to understand inner-side of human nature, and gives an insight into self-understanding. We would like to promote active, and physical model of musical therapy aside from passive existing mode, and apply it as the base resource for our ever-changing society, and teenage education.

This study analyzed the process of mourning for aging in the film 'Miss Granny' in a convergent method. In exploring the contents of the movie repeatedly and interpreting the feeling of loss of old age in aging process as mourning process, I explored them in a psychoanalytic way. In other words, in a psychoanalytic method, I analyzed the aging process as a process of reinterpreting life and the change in developmental attitude toward the future life as a psychological world of mourning. The results of the study show that the process of mourning follows 'loss and deficiency', 'escape and regression', 'disidentification and decentralization', and 'adaptation to the new reality'. Based on these results, this research suggests that the counselor should not only focus on creating a psychological mood environment so that the client's mourning work will be smooth, but also should be able to use a complex counseling technique to improve the mental ability of the client.
Purpose: The purpose of the study was to describe psychosocial difficulties experienced by cancer patients. Methods: Three focus group interviews were conducted to collect the data from 19 outpatients with cancer undergoing treatments during 2009. All interviews were audio-recorded and transcribed verbatim. The data were analyzed using constant comparative analysis of grounded theory. Results: As a result of constant comparative analysis, 'psychosocial distress' was identified as a core category, and seven subcategories were identified. 'Plunged into negative emotions' and 'damaged self-identity' were identified as major categories in the individual dimension. 'Difficulty in dealing with diagnosis' and 'hasty expectations and concerns' were identified in the dimension of family. 'Inefficient communication' and 'lack of necessary information' were identified in the dimension of health care setting. 'Lonely journey into a strange territory' was identified in the dimension of society. Conclusion: The results of the study indicate that cancer patients experience a wide range of psychosocial problems. Thus, in assessing and relieving psychosocial distress of cancer patients, it is necessary to focus not only on the level of the individual but also on the levels of family, health care setting, and society in general is necessary.
In this paper, an adaptive ROI(region of interest) detection system for spatialtemporal features is proposed. It utilizes spatiotemporal features for the purpose of detecting ROI. It is assumed that motion representing temporal visual conspicuity between adjacent frames takes higher priority over spatial visual conspicuity. Because objects or regions in motion usually draw stronger attention than others in motion pictures. In case of still images visual features that constitute topographic feature maps are used as spatial features. Comparative experiments with a human subjective evaluation show that correct detection rate of visual attention region is improved by exploiting both spatial and temporal features compared to the case of exploiting either feature.
