There has been a lot of researches to develop techniques that provide redundant paths, there by making Multistage Interconnection Networks(MINs) fault tolerant. So far, the redundant paths in MINs have been realized by adding additional hardware such as extra stages or duplicated data links. This paper presents a new MIN topology called Hierarchical MIN. The proposed MIN is constructed with 2.5N-4 switching elements, which are much fewer than that of the classical MINs. Even though there are fewer hardware than the classical MINs, the HMIN possesses the property of full access and also provides alternative paths for the fault tolerant. Furthermore, since there is the short cut in HMIN for the localized communication, it takes advantage of exploiting the locality of reference in multiprocessor systems. Its performance under varying degrees of localized communication is analysed and simulated.

Two-dimensional orthogonal variable spreading codes are presented far multiplexing of forward link in direct sequence code division multiple access(DS-CDMA) multiple antennas system. The bit error rate(BER) performance under a multi-user environment fur the additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN) channel and Rayleigh fading MIMO channel are evaluated. The results demonstrate that the proposed scheme could provide flexible rates and lower peak correlation values.

This paper presents a digital signature scheme for document image which directly embeds a signature onto the document. The time to take in signature is reduced by spreading of signature. Non-repudiation in origin, the 3rd condition of digital signature is realized by proposed digital signature scheme. The transmitter embeds the signature secretly and transfers it and the receiver makes a check of any forgery on the signature and the document, This scheme is compatible with the ITU-T.4(CCITT G3 or G4 facsimile standards).

인류의 역사는 앞으로 400여일이 지나면 새로운 천년을 맞이하게 된다 세계는 2000년을 기점으로 도약하기 위하여 VISION 2000을 제시하는 등 세기말을 바쁘게 지내고 있다 그러나 희망으로 다가오는 2000년은 시한폭탄이 되어 다가오고 이다 그것은 산업사회에서 정보화 사회로 이전되면서 우리가 모르는 사이에 디지털 시대에 살게 되었기 때문이다 디지털의 세계에서는 메모린의 절약과 표현의 간소화를 위하여 연도표기를 마지막 2자리 숫자로 사용하여왔다 그로인해 2000년이 되면 컴퓨터에서 처리되는 연도가 '00'으로 되어 1900년과 구별되지 않게 되었다 은행거래 각종공과금 계산의 오류는 물론이고 산업계 전역에 설치되어 있는 자동화기기의 RTC(Real Time Clock)오동작으로 국가 기반시스템까지 마비될 가능성을 파생시켰다 이러한 Y2K 문제(일명: 밀레니엄버그)는 크게 하드웨어 시스템 소프트웨어 애플리케이션 비정보처리계시스템(자동화기기)등 4가지 종류에서 발생하고 있다 본고에서는 이들 4가지 종류에 맞는 해결안을 마련하고 실현하는 구체적인 계획을 제시함을 물론 이어 최정적으로 이를 다시 통합해서 테스트하는 3단계방식으로 Y2K 문제를 해결하도록 제안하고자 한다.

본 고는 Mini-MAP 네트워크의 접속장치를 구현한 내용이다. 이 접속장치는 공장자동화 네트워크 시스팀에서 Mini-MAP 노드로 동작하며, PLC, CNC, robot와 같은 프로그래머블 디바이스를 MAP 네트워크 환경에 접속하여 원격제어가 가능하도록 하는 네트워크 구축을 위한 핵심 장치이다. 이 접속장치는 MAP 3.0의 Mini-MAP으로 구현하고 실현하였다. MAC 부계층은 Token Bus Controller(TBC)가 담당하며, LLC 부계층은 class 3로 설계하였고, MMS는 implementaton class MAP3를 설계하였다. 구현된 모든 소프트웨어는 Mini-MAP의 실시간 정보 전송 성능을 보증하기 위해 real-time 멀티 태스크 OS로 운영하도록 설계하였으며, 보드에 firmware로 탑재하였다. 프로토콜 분석기를 이용하여 LLC 수준의 오류검출과 전송기능을 확인하였으며, MMS는 적합성 시험을 이미 받은 MMS를 탑재한 상용 제품과의 통신 실험을 통해 적합성을 확인하였다.

국가적 차원에서 추진하는 영재교육의 목적은 개인의 자아실현과 더불어 국가와 사회에서 필요로 하는 고급 인재를 양성하는 데 있다. 특히, 정보화 시대를 이끌어 갈 정보영재의 발굴과 교육은 더욱 중요하다. 컴퓨터 교육 중 프로그래밍 교육은 컴퓨터 소양, 창의적 사고와 문제 해결력, 수학적 사고력, 추론 능력을 신장시키는 정보 교육의 중요한 분야임에도 불구하고 정보영재를 위한 체계적인 교육 내용이 확립되어 있지 않은 상태이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 초등정보영재를 위한 프로그레밍 언어교육의 필요성을 살펴보고 프로그래밍 교육을 위한 교육내용을 구성하였으며 논리력 향상 및 문제 해결력 중심의 비주얼 베이직 교육 시스템을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 특징은 첫째, 학습자에게 실제 프로그램을 작성할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 둘째, 학습한 이론을 실제 프로그램 작성에 응용할 수 있도록 한다. 셋째, 프로그램상의 오류 수정 활동과 제시된 예제의 다양한 해결 방법을 통해 문제 해결력과 논리적 사고력을 향상시킬 수 있는 프로그래밍 학습 시스템을 제공한다.

The need to conversion between NAS and CEPT networks has led to the development of PCM standards conversion techniques, especially signalling conversion techniques. This paper contains a brief description and general overview of channel associated signalling(CAS) of 24-channel system and of 30-channel system. The line signalling conversion algorithm between two systems and the transition detection algorithm of call status is proposed. And this paper presents the effective inplementation techniques of these algorithm.

The purpose of this study is to examine the pitch pattern of Korean accentual phrases produced by Chinese Korean-learners in the reading of a Korean text. Korean accentual phrase is determined by a specific F0 contour. And the pitch contour of APs differ depending on their length and the nature of initial segment. In order to examine if Chinese speakers are also aware such a phonetic properties, we have examined the AP pitch contours produced by 15 Chinese speakers differing in proficiency, and compared them to pitch contours produced by six Korean native speakers. The results show that Chinese speakers' pitch errors were observed in initial segment-tone interaction and in type of pitch patterns. However, even though Chines speakers produced the same type of pitch patterns, internal tonal modulation differs from native speakers. Finally, on the basis of theses results, we proposed a teaching method that visualizes the F0 contour.

웹 서버에서 로그파일은 웹 서버에 대한 접속정보를 저장한다. 이 정보를 분석하면 웹 서비스를 하는데 있어서 서비스의 질을 높이는데 좋은 참고자료가 될 뿐 아니라 웹 서버에 이상이 생겼을 경우 발생한 오류를 조기에 발견하는 데에도 사용되는 중요한 자료이다. 현재 이러한 로그파일은 텍스트 파일로 저장이 되어있으며 오랜 시간이 지나 그 웹 페이지가 삭제되었을 경우 로그파일에 기록된 그 시각의 웹 페이지를 찾아보기가 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 로그파일에 기록된 그 시각의 웹 페이지의 이미지를 저장하는 방법으로 이러한 단점을 보안하고 오랜 시간이 지난 후에도 그 웹 페이지를 볼 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 이 아이디어가 구현되어 실현되면 또한 Digital Forensic으로써 범죄 수사에도 많은 도움이 될 뿐만 아니라 휴대전화로 풀 인터넷 브라우징이 가능한 풀브라우저에도 적용될 수 있다.

In this paper, we explain about an outline of the decoding method for double encoding system using the error correcting capacitance and a simple decoding method. We have been taken formation two-dimension code word of doubly-encoded code using $C_1$(32, 28, 5) and $C_2$(32, 26, 7) Reed-Solomon codes, and had computer simulation of the erroe correcting processes in frequency domain. On these processes, the newly developed digital signal processing technology such as error correction using Berlekamp-Massey algorithm in frequency domain have been proven.
