Process Model for the Coal Gasification System (석탄가스화 시스템 공정모델에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 현재 아주대학교 구내에 건설중인 3T/D 석탄가스화 실증실험장치의 엔지니어링 설계자료 및 실험장치 각 부분의 사양을 종합화하여 최적의 설계조건을 도출하고 향후 스케일 업에 따른 장치변화 및 관련변수를 예측할 수 있는 공정모델을 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 모델은 3T/D 석탄가스화 장치와 같이 가스화기부분, 산화제 및 연료의 주입부분, 생성가스의 냉각부, 가스화기 예열부분 및 회분처리부로 구성된다. 개발된 모델에 의해 부분별 대체가능성을 평가하여 최적 조합형태를 제시하였고 결과의 타당성을 입증하기 위해 실제 플랜트의 설계자료와 프로그램에 의한 결과를 비교하였다. 또한 스케일 업 결과 변화폭이 가장 큰 부분은 냉각기의 길이가 냉각수 유입량 증대에 따라 급겨히 변화되어 냉각수 유입을 위한 냉각수 분산장치의 교체가 필요한 것으로 판단되었다.

  • After obtaining tensile and compressive stiffness as well as shear stiffness of elastomeric seismic isolator experimentally, those stiffness were modeled analytically using nonlinear computer program. To induce tensile stress due to overturning in the seismic isolators of an isolated frame for horizontal force, free vibration simulations generated by large initial displacement were conducted. Since elastomeric seismic isolator is weak for tensile stress, the axial stiffness of isolators shall be included properly in the analytical model to evaluate the uplift phenomenon of elastomeric seismic isolator.

  • In order to study the performance characteristics of the thrust vector nozzle, the test facility and instrumentation system were designed. In this system, axial thrust, moment, exhaust gas velocity and pressure will be measured by using the scale down experimental model devices. The test facility are composed of high pressure air storage system, flow measuring and control system, test nozzle and thrust measurement system.

  • 컴퓨터 시스템에 내재된 시각 장치는 제반 동작의 기본이 되며, 시간과 관련된 연산들에 직접적인 영향을 준다. 시작 장치는 온도나 습도와 갗은 주위 환경 요인에 의해 오차를 가지며, 보다 높은 시각 정확도를 얻기 위해서는 시작 장치를 동기시키는 알고리즘이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 윈도우즈 시스템 시각장치의 정확도를 향상시키기 위해 동기 알고리리즘을 적용한 시각 조정 방안과, 제시된 조정 방안을 적용한 알고리즘의 실험과 결과에 대해 제시한다. 사용된 알고리즘은 피드백 제어를 사용하여, 분주된 오실레이터의 주파수를 GPS로부터의 1PPS 신호에 동기시키는 FLL로 구성하였다. 조정방안의 구현 및 실험은 Windows95상에서 실행되었다.

  • To improve the efficiency of biological filters used for treating recycled wastewater of aquaculture, the conventional and advanced DynaSand Filters were tested. Applying the fluid mechanics and physical chemistry theories to wastewater treatment plant, the advanced filter focuses on detection of wastewater characteristics and automatic operation of DynaSand Filter to improve backwashing, oxygen transport, turbidity removal and continuous head loss. The Filter removes COD, ammonia, and suspended solids (SS), the major pollutants in aquaculture wastewater. The total volume of the DynaSand Filter is 70 L, while the working volume is 35 L per cycle. The removal efficiency of the advanced DynaSand Filter is 71 % for SS (as against 55 % for the conventional filter), 84 % for ammonia, 85 % for T-P, and 88 % for SRP.

  • The sample environment at high temperature for the four circle diffractometer at HANARO in Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute is developed. The performance test was carried out for a structurally known sample through the high temperature experiment with this equipment. In this study we found out that the developed sample environment is stable for a long time experiment at over 900 K. By the neutron diffraction from a single crystal of $LiTaO_3$(phase transition temperature about 900 K) at 298 and 913 K, the lithium atomic positions at both temperatures and disordered state of lithium atom at high temperature were confirmed. These are hardly possible to determine by the conventional X-ray diffraction method.

Development and Performance of Cutting and Crushing Instrument of Hair to Prevent Blocking U-trap in Home Drainage System (하수구 막힘 방지를 위한 모발 절단 분쇄 장치 개발 및 성능평가)

  • The recalcitrant hairs which are accumulated in the U-trap equipped to prevent the stench from the drainage produce the phenomenon of blocking the flow of water through the home drainage pathway. The chemical dissolution solutions commercially manufactured are excessively poured into U-trap to solve this blocking problem. In this study, the specially designed instrument was developed for the experiments to cut and crush the hairs of which main component are the recalcitrant keratin proteins. The performance of the instrument for cutting and crushing hairs was investigated using experimental methods. The cutting and weighing method was used in order to obtain the average length of a large amount of hairs cut by instrument. This method is relatively simple to measure the weight of cutting hairs to obtain the average length of the fibers, the values of average length showed not greater tolerances. Also the average cutting number was defined to evaluate the performance of the cutting and crushing instruments designed for this study. We were able to apply these evaluation methods to provide the criteria to obtain the optimal structure of instrument and proper operation time in the given experimental conditions. These experimental methods and results will provide the good example to design and to analyze the various device that can be used for cutting the fibers. The cutting and crushing instrument developed in this study showed the effective abilities to cutting the hairs. The general using the cuttting and crushing instrument at every home would be helpful to prevent water environmental pollution.

  • PCM 실험장치로 사용할 수 있도록 설계 제작한 2-channel PCM 송수신 시스템을 소개한다. 전체시스템의 계통과 기본전 설계조건이 검토된 후, 각 부분에 대한 구체적 설계제작 특성 및 문제점 등이 제시되었다. 또한 본 장치로서 가능한 실험중에서 몇가지를 설명 검토한다.

Experimental Test on Coner Rigid Joint Connection Method for Underground Roadway Structure (지하차도 구조물의 우각부 연결장치에 대한 실험적 평가)

  • In this study, a safe, economic, and rapid construction method of underground roadway using PSC girder is developed to reduce traffic congestion and maximize space usage in urban area. For an efficient application of the method, a rigid joint connection is proposed and tested. For the testing, cantilever specimens were used to verify its capacity. The parameters for this study were cross beam length and joint connection type. The results of the test showed that the proposed connection system has superior performances. Despite having differences of cross beam length and joint connection type, the stable flexural behavior was shown in all of the tested specimens. Also, the behaviors of PSC girders and upper slabs connected by the proposed method showed superior performance. Moreover, the improvement of structure performance according to the increase of length of cross beams has been verified.
