Community music therapy (CoMT) has been recently developed and expands the opportunities for music therapy. The concept of CoMT is introduced in this article, and its three attributes of community, music, and health are reviewed. This study specified each attribute of CoMT: a community (a group of people, a field where members of a group interact with each other), music (a substance of interaction, collective music-making), and health (motivation and goal of interaction, relational and social well-being). The application and interactions of the three attributes of CoMT are introduced as in the concept of community music, music and health, and community health. How CoMT can be applied to the field of music therapy is also detailed and based on the concept of CoMT and its relationship with the attributes, the CoMT was reconstructed as CoMuHeal in this study. Future studies are needed to propose how music therapy approaches can be developed to provide music for well-being and better health in the community and how CoMT can be applied in collaboration with other professional fields.

Community revitalization programs in New York State are community centralized projects, and this approach is pretty much general in the united states. However, local communities do not have enough funds, human resources, technical knowledge and useful data. Even though State governments have their own supporting systems, they are not able to support all that communities need and ask. State governments are, on the other hand, trying to develop the most efficient supporting system for the community revitalization programs as a part of community development. US federal government supports funds as well. New York state government makes connections with other states, local governments, universities, and other useful groups, and reorganizes all possible resources for New York state communities. This supporting system helps that local leaders and community residents can tackle regionally specific issues and opportunities. This paper shows how New York state implements community revitalization programs with the community supporting system. This research also shows how to organize and manage the community involvements in the planning process through the case study of the Black River Vision Plan/ City of Watertown that an author had participated in.

This paper reviews the strategy of activating spatial data community and its impacts, focusing on the Cooperative Agreements Program(CAP) of National Spatial Data Infrastructure(NSDI), established by Federal Geographic Data Committee(FGDC) in U.S. to facilitate cooperative data sharing. After thoroughly reviewing the 20 research categories followed by 350 cases, supported by CAP for the last decade, it turned out that since NSDI issued "Future Directions Initiative" in 2004, the CAP adopted all components of NSDI as CAP categories in attempting to reinforce the partnership rather than mainly deploying standardized meta-data. Also, CAP has been utilized as a means to enforce the role of NSDI as spatial data user and provider as well, recognizing that the spatial data community is essence for expandable and sustainable NSDI. Implementing CAP resulted in the sound structure of spatial data marketplaces increasing spatial data demand and promoting the relevant business due to diverse users.

The main aim of paper is to analyse relationships of objects, methods and main agents for the sustainable growth of community business (CB). Since the 1990s, Korea central-local governments have carried out a variety of policies to revitalize the rural economy, but many policies did not work effectively. The main reason for this is that those policies were simply focused on construct the hardware-based infrastructure without considerations of community capabilities. Recently, to overcome these problems, various kinds of community business policies are carried out across the country. Therefore, to avoid previous problems, the concrete and thorough analysis on the current CB has to be required. To do this analysis, four case studies on Sungmisan Village (in Mapo-Gu, Seoul) were taken and analysed in this paper. Results for this are as follows; Firstly, for the sustained growth of CB, it has to be required that the needs and demands of communities and residents are reflected. In the case of Sungmisan CB, residents were relatively satisfied with their community products, even though tastes and prices of those products were not very attractive. The reason for this is that those products were created by needs of local people. In this process, a market within the village was created and the basis of the management was established. Secondly, in order to secure a stable profit's structure that is necessary at the early stage of business settlement, creating related networks with Sungmisan CB is necessary. The CB established a stable profit structure by using mutual commodities. In particular, they linked closely and mutually so that visitors can buy their commodities. Lastly, for the sustainable management of the CB a common target local people should be set up. Furthermore, a system for income distribution has to be needed for protecting and solving potential conflicts.
This paper aims to critically review the geographical literature on learning and proximity that stresses the role of the regions and geographical proximity in sustaining competitive advantage, and to conceptualize a relational/organizational perspective on the sources of knowledge and learning in the firm. In the first part of the paper, I argue that the geographical literature lacks the deliberate scrutiny of how learning occurs in the firm and where the sources of knowledge and learning come from. Secondly, I attempt to elaborate the concept of proximity through a relational/organizational perspective. Thirdly, I delve into how learning takes place and is realized in the firm through communities in the firm such as communities of practice, epistemic communities and task-force teams and how such communities in the firm generate knowledge and sustain loaming by drawing on relational/organizational proximity. This paper concludes by claiming that the sources of learning exist in organizational spaces, with complex geographies mobilizing distributed knowledge and competences and combining varied forms of knowledge beyond the simple demarcation of tacit and codified knowledge.
