A Study of Kalman Filter Adaptation for Protecting Aquaculture Farms (양식어장보호를 위한 칼만필터 적용에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we study on adaptation of the kalman filter for FDS(fishery detection system) to protect and aquaculture farms. The FDS will detect a robbing vessel with real time and a variance of the position of fishing fields. The kalman filter for tracking system that can be detect and track the approaching object without mounting F-AIS(Fishery Automatic Identification System) is applied. Some simulation results for the acceleration object with white noise is showed and the possibility of adaptation for tracking system is discussed.

Reliable Camera Pose Estimation from a Single Frame with Applications for Virtual Object Insertion (가상 객체 합성을 위한 단일 프레임에서의 안정된 카메라 자세 추정)

  • This Paper describes a fast and stable camera pose estimation method for real-time augmented reality systems. From the feature tracking results of a marker on a single frame, we estimate the camera rotation matrix and the translation vector. For the camera pose estimation, we use the shape factorization method based on the scaled orthographic Projection model. In the scaled orthographic factorization method, all feature points of an object are assumed roughly at the same distance from the camera, which means the selected reference point and the object shape affect the accuracy of the estimation. This paper proposes a flexible and stable selection method for the reference point. Based on the proposed method, we implemented a video augmentation system that inserts virtual 3D objects into the input video frames. Experimental results showed that the proposed camera pose estimation method is fast and robust relative to the previous methods and it is applicable to various augmented reality applications.

  • In this paper a super-resolution time delay estimation algorithm is developed for real-time locating systems (RTLSs) that employ a direct-sequence spread spectrum technique, along with its performance analysis in multipath environments. The classical correlation method provides relatively good performance in line-of-sight (LOS) environments but its performance seriously degrades in multipath environments, especially when signals are spaced closer than a PN chip. Therefore we shall develop a super-resolution time delay estimation algorithm that may estimate the time delays of multipath signals even in closely spaced multipath environments using the MUSIC algorithm for direction-of-arrival estimation and analyze its performance by applying the algorithm to the ISO/IEC 24730-2.1 RTLS system.

  • A real-time detection and tracking of moving objects in video sequences is very important for smart surveillance systems. In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm for the detection of moving objects that is the entropy-based adaptive Gaussian mixture model (AGMM). First, the increment of entropy generally means the increment of complexity, and objects in unstable conditions cause higher entropy variations. Hence, if we apply these properties to the motion segmentation, pixels with large changes in entropy in moments have a higher chance in belonging to moving objects. Therefore, we apply the Clausius entropy theory to convert the pixel value in an image domain into the amount of energy change in an entropy domain. Second, we use an adaptive background subtraction method to detect moving objects. This models entropy variations from backgrounds as a mixture of Gaussians. Experiment results demonstrate that our method can detect motion object effectively and reliably.

And even if it has leaked internally it's impossible to analyze so hackers can't analyze vulnerability, also it can't be abused as hacking tools.

Context Aware Feature Selection Model for Salient Feature Detection from Mobile Video Devices (모바일 비디오기기 위에서의 중요한 객체탐색을 위한 문맥인식 특성벡터 선택 모델)

  • Cluttered background is a major obstacle in developing salient object detection and tracking system for mobile device captured natural scene video frames. In this paper we propose a context aware feature vector selection model to provide an efficient noise filtering by machine learning based classifiers. Since the context awareness for feature selection is achieved by searching nearest neighborhoods, known as NP hard problem, we apply a fast approximation method with complexity analysis in details. Separability enhancement in feature vector space by adding the context aware feature subsets is studied rigorously using principal component analysis (PCA). Overall performance enhancement is quantified by the statistical measures in terms of the various machine learning models including MLP, SVM, Naïve Bayesian, CART. Summary of computational costs and performance enhancement is also presented.

  • In this paper, A GSm/WCDMA band antenna which can be confirmed positioning information of a container by using the GPS/GLONASS bands on one board and can be sent the positioning information to the mobile communication network in real time is designed. A microstrip patch antennas which supports dual-band (GPS and GLONASS) was optimized. The antenna size is $25{\times}25{\times}5[mm]$. A chip monopole antennas which supports dual-band (GSM and WCDMA) was optimized. The antenna size is $27{\times}8{\times}3.2[mm]$. To amplify the Satellite reception signal level, two-stage low noise amplifier(LNA) was designed. The LNA gain is 27[dB]. The size of Jig for antennas measuring is $100{\times}30{\times}1[mm]$.

  • The introduction of GPS technique in transportation study make real time tracking of driving vehicle's position possible. Position information data gauged with three dimension(X, Y, Z) can be achieved with time-continuity and from more than two driving vehicles. For this field of study, in past day, there were many difficulties in collecting real time data, but now, it becomes easy thanks to this. But for the resonable result analysis, fully understanding of GPS data-accuracy must be proceeded. Because accompanied magnitude of error depends on the study's accuracy. For this reason, this study surveyed the GPS data's error and suggest calibrate technique. This study's result will be helpful for following studies using DGPS data. For this, this study takes two types study in road, and set triangulation coordinates, and compare it with GPS data. DGPS data contains less than 0.6m's error.

Web-based Parking Lot Management System by Vehicle Movement (차량 영상을 이용한 웹기반 주차관리 시스템)

  • s economic development has been achieved and society gets complicated, problems of traffic system have been also exposed. Due to these problems, drivers have to endure economic loss and delayed time. A web-based parking lot management system has been proposed to solve this problem. Because a parking lot is an important resource of traffic system, efficient management of parking lots can be means to solve critical problems of traffic system. In this study a simple method is introduced to detect moving vehicles with geometric information of moving objects that has been computed from surveillance cameras installed in a parking lot. Statistical information processed from image data is also stored on a server side, such as total number of parking lots, a number of parked cars and a number of available parking spots. A client who wants to know the nearest parking place can share the information via a mobile device and shorten his or her driving time. Great benefit to both drivers and society is expected if many parking lots are equipped with this system.

  • Previous hardware devices to capture human motion have many limitations; expensive equipment, complexity of manipulation or constraints of human motion. In order to overcome these problems, real-time motion capture algorithms based on computer vision have been actively proposed. This paper presents an efficient analysis method of multiple view images for real-time motion capture. First, we detect the skin color regions of human being, and then correct the image coordinates of the regions by using camera calibration and epipolar geometry. Finally, we track the human body part and capture human motion using kalman filter. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can estimate a precise position of the human body.
