Development of real-time monitoring Indoor Positioning (실시간 실내위치 측위 모니터링 개발)

  • 최근 무선으로 실내위치를 측정하는 방법으로 WiFi를 많이 사용하고 있다. WiFi를 이용하여 실내에서의 위치를 파악하는 것에서 끝나지 않고 이를 실시간으로 모니터링 함으로써 긴박한 인명구조의 상황이나 전시상황에서 사용하고자 한다. 기본 안드로이드 단말기(클라이언트)와 서버간의 통신에 의해서 클라이언트는 위치를 전송하고 서버는 이를 이용하여 실시간으로 현재위치를 파악 할 수 있도록 사용자에게 표시를 해준다. 향후 개발과정에서 실외위치 모니터링 기능까지 포함하도록 확장할 예정이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 Zigbee와 초음파 센서를 이용한 실내 항법 시스템을 제안한 시스템 Zigbee라는 단거리 무선 통신 망을 이용하여 수집한 후 이동체의 위치를 추정한다. 제안한 시스템에서는 여러 곳에 초음파 센서를 설치하고 이동체까지 측정한 거리는 실내 항법에 적합한 위치 추정 기법을 결정하기 위하여 최소자승법과 직접풀이법의 성능을 모의실험을 통하여 비교하였고, 두 기법 모두 충분히 작은 오차를 가지는 것을 확인하였는데 최소자승법은 선형화 기준점 설정에 따라 발산하는 경우가 나타나는 것을 볼 수 있었다.

Performance Analysis of a Noncoherent OOK UWB System Based on Power Detection in Indoor Wireless Channels (실내 무선 채널에서 전력검출 기반 Noncoherent OOK UWB 시스템의 성능 분석)

  • In this paper, we evaluate the performance of a noncoherent OOK (On-Off Keying) UWB (Ultra Wide Band) system based on power detection with noise power calibration and noise power windowing for ubiquitous sensor network applications in typical indoor wireless channels. Utilizing noise power calibration and noise power windowing, the current noise information can be initially or adaptively provided to determine suitable detection threshold value for signal demodulation. Simulation results show that the noncoherent OOK UWB system using noise power calibration achieves good BER (Bit Error Rate) performance which is favorably comparable to that of the system using the ideal adaptive threshold, while maintaining simple receiver structure. However, despite the serious loss of the data transmission rate, the performance improvement by noise power windowing is not so remarkable. furthermore, these performance results are similarly maintained in BEE 802.15 Task Group 3a UWB indoor channel model, and it is also revealed that the BER performance can be significantly improved by increasing the pulse repetition rate.

Fingerprint-Based Indoor Logistics Location Tracking System (핑거프린트에 기반한 실내 물류 위치추적 시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose an indoor logistic tracking system that identifies the location and inventory of the logistics in the room based on fingerprints. Through this, we constructed the actual infrastructure of the logistics center and designed and implemented the logistics management system. The proposed system collects the signal strength through the location terminal and generates the signal map to locate the goods. The location terminal is composed of a UHF RFID reader and a wireless LAN card, reads the peripheral RFID signal and the signal of the wireless AP, and transmits it to the web server. The web server processes the signal received from the location terminal and stores it in the database, and the user uses the data to produce the signal map. The proposed system combines UHF RFID with existing fingerprinting method to improve performance in the environment of querying multiple objects.

  • Recently, indoor location recognition technology using Wi-Fi fingerprints has been applied and operated in various industrial fields and public services. Along with the interest in machine learning technology, location recognition technology based on machine learning using wireless signal data around a terminal is rapidly developing. At this time, in the process of collecting radio signal data required for machine learning, the accuracy of location recognition is lowered due to distorted or unsuitable data for learning. In addition, when location recognition is performed based on data collected at a specific location, a problem occurs in location recognition at surrounding locations that are not included in the learning. In this paper, we propose a learning data preprocessing technique to obtain an improved position recognition result through the preprocessing of the collected learning data.

  • Untact order payment has become a new normal since the COVID-19. BLE beacon is a technology that supports low-power wireless communication within 70 meters without Bluetooth pairing and is specialized for indoor positioning. Therefore, it is suitable for building and providing O2O services beyond B2C and B2B services. However, beacons have a lower utilization rate because they have fewer platforms than wifi that support long-distance wireless communication. Therefore, this paper aims to provide more convenient non-face-to-face related services than before by designing and proposing an O2O service platform using BLE beacons. When scanning beacons, not only does it receive advertising data that beacons have, but it also ensures that the actual distance between the user's terminal and beacons is accurately calculated. Through accurate location, the O2O service platform will be able to provide users with store information, such as coupons and discounts, museum exhibits, and traffic information at the right time.

  • The range-free localization using connectivity information has problems of mobile tracking. This paper proposes two Bayesian filter-based mobile tracking algorithms considering a propagation scenario. Kalman and Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) particle filters are applied according to linearity of two measurement models. Measurement models of the Kalman and MCMC particle filter-based algorithms respectively are defined as connectivity between mobiles, information fusion of connectivity information and received signal strength (RSS) from neighbors within one-hop. To perform the accurate simulation, we consider a real indoor map of shopping mall and degree of radio irregularity (DOI) model. According to obstacles between mobiles, we assume two types of DOIs. We show the superiority of the proposed algorithm over existing range-free algorithms through MATLAB simulations.

  • 가시광통신은 조명용 LED를 사용하여 자유공간을 통하여 광신호를 직접 전송하는 무선광통신 방식의 일종으로서 하나의 광원으로 조명과 통신을 겸할 수 있는 장점이 있으나 전송구간이 가시거리로 제한되는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 한계를 극복하고자 가시광통신 구간 사이에 전력선통신을 이용하여 가시거리 구간 밖으로 가시광통신의 전송범위를 확장하였다. 이러한 구조는 가시광 통신 구간을 넓혀주는 효과가 있어 실내의 LED 조명을 이용한 가시광통신 시스템을 신설하거나 확장하는 경우에 많이 활용할 수 있다.

  • Visible light communication is a communication method using an LED having a high-speed ON / OFF rate data to be transmitted, it is used as a wireless high speed data transmission. VLC system evolves, the problem of basic research is intended to improve performance and ensure reliability of the communication. The nature of the visible light communication, communication is performed only in the reach of the light, which indicates a big difference by the emission angle of the light. Therefore, in this paper, in the case of indoor environments generally, with the attributes of the multiple LED is equipped, was applied to a MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) communication system. and analyzed SNR performance and total power can be obtained on the reception side by changing the emission angle of the transmitter. As a result of the simulation was run against this, it was confirmed that there is a significant impact on the performance of BER and SNR performance by the emission angle of the transmitter.

Indoor Location Tracking System using 2.4GHz Wireless Channel Model (2.4GHz 채널을 이용한 실내 위치 인식 시스템)

  • In recent years there has been growing interest in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) for a variety of indoor applications. In this paper, we present the RSSI-based localization in indoor environments. In order to evaluate the relationship between distance and RSSI, the log-normal path loss shadowing model is used. By tagging users with a sensor node and deploying a number of nodes at fixed position in the building, the RSSI can be used to determine the position of tagged user. This system operates by recording and processing signal strength information at the base stations. It combines Euclidean distance technique with signal strength matrix obtained during real-time measurement to determine the location of user. The experimental results presented the ability of this system to estimate user's location with a accuracy.
