The rise of the machine culture in the last 20th century has rapidly changed the world into a high-tech civilized society but at the same time, it also caused environmental estrangements such as damage in the environment and the loss of humanity in the human society due to materialism. As a reaction to the absence of humanity in such environment, in these modern days design which acts as the product of public art, escaped from the previous physical functional satisfaction and stood out as the culture industry that satisfies human's sensibility. This study is focusing on the method of how such sensitive designs are expressed in the interior space of retail shops and such methods are researched through the image evaluation test conducted to the 10 brands of overseas' jewelery shops. The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning and effects of designs that took consideration of sensibility in a retail shop and to establish efficient marketing strategy using sensitive design and to utilize it into the interior space.

Sir John Sonae(1753-1837) was the most original English architect of 19c. his extremely personal style is superficially neo-classical but, romantic or ' picturesque' in its complicated and unexpected spatial interplay. The Soane's style was one of the curiosities of European architecture. Sir John Soane, like mackintosh, was best known for his interior spaces. He used his own house as a laboratory of spatial experimentation to develop his spatial ideas. The objective of this study was to examine his architectural style through his various architectural works and analyze . The Soane's Museum (his house, No.12.13.14 Lincoln's Inn Fields. London, UK) in order to find inter design elements which represent the best of Soane's interior design effects. As a result , this study found that Soane held no theories as to proportion . It gives the conditon of the building's freedom. He shows the ' primitivism facade and the simple neoclassical symmetry exterior arrangement. As interior design elements he used the layered structure, the natural skylight, the pendentive dome, the space in space, the pictures que style. These elements create magical interior space of the Sonane's Museum. THe spatial intrigue is further enhanced by various degrees of lighting that additionally emphasize the three-dimensional quality of the object loaded walls and piers. One can always look through to space beyond many individual object, both horizontally and vertically. These interior elements can be used for the modern interior design development in order to create the expansion of space and the territoriality of space.

The trend of well-being image in this 21st century has been developed by issuing 'Health and Long life' integrating the quality. We are characterize the colors of the nature with emotional feelings of Korean people with respect to Korea four seasons and adapt it into choosing subtle colors in interior design for the good space of well-being image.

Now days is the age of brands. We are very close to the brands. The brands are found in every comer of our life, delivering messages endlessly. 본 연구에서는 미래 감성실내 공간색채에 대한 연구로 심리설문반응과 생리 신호 분석을 통하여 감성색채데이터 분석에 목적을 두었다. 생리신호반응 분석 중 뇌파측정과 7점 척도 SD 스케일법을 이용한 설문조사를 실시하여, 정상적인 감성어휘와 정량적인 생리신호 결과의 상호관계를 분석하였다. 기존의 직관적이며 주관적인 색채 배색디자인과 심리분석의 색채연구결과에 비해 본 연구는 객관적이며 과학적인 방법 및 주관적인 감성어휘를 연결짓는 것으로 연구의 의의를 두었다. 이러한 연구는 감성에 미리 반응하는 감성 지능형 환경디자인에 중요한 페이지로 활용될 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 현대인의 건강에 대한 관심 증가에 따라 건강 증진 환경디자인에 도움을 줄 수 있는 색채 배색을 제안할 수 있다.

Since the 20th century, it has been the most important agenda that issued the environment of earth. And it has been enormous endeavors for providing the environmental-friendly. It has now outcome as a policy of estimate and acknowledgement for providing the environmental-friendly. Regarding that is the most efficient method in a practical sense, the policy has rapidly been developed. This study is an attempt to categorize interior design of the policy. Thus main-body of this study shall be clarified the definition of the notion of the environmental-friendly design and investigated the element of harm against the environmental-friendly as well. Eventually the conclusion is to provide a guideline for the environmental-friendly especially for the field of interior design materials, by the investigation of the exiting policy for the environmental-friendly design.

The 21 century has entered a stage of innovation with current globalization. The technical development of science has changed more rapidly than any other era and through this change, design will control the world. For this reason, I consider that researching Philippe Starck's - one of most active designers in the world- philosophies and traits of his work can be the key to understanding 21st century's design characters and main trends. Furthermore this research will also help to predict future design. Philippe Starck has diverse traits but this study would like to focus on his trait of Surrealism. First I have arranged all his design backgrounds including periodic circumstance which influenced his works. Secondly I researched and analyzed how his design philosophy has expressed his works. Phillppe Starck defines Surrealism as an expression of a dream and unconsciousness showing an indoor view and he expresses his characteristic wit and humor by presenting completely different and exceptional space from what people have usually seen.

Lighting have been progressed inaccordance with these requirements and the demanding functions of our life style which played the important roll of bringing the stimulation we need with the new methods of performances, The advanced technology of today introduces the new method of combining the light, art and the Hi-technology into our artistic world bringing the new stimulation we have not experienced before. This study aims by analysing the interior design elements trends of current medium size office buildings in Seoul. The analysing objects are ceiling, floor, wall, and illumination plan of current office buildings. Analysing tools are finishing material and color of each part. Analysing areas are lobby area, deskwork area, conference area, welfare area, public area(rest room, corridor, stair). The interior design elements of lobby shows a lots of different features then the other areas in ceiling, floor, and wall design. Such difference appears at finishing material especially, and the coloring is more splendorous then the other areas. Desk work area and conference area have similar characteristics in finishing materiors and colors, and they usually follow the needs of function. Walfare area shows more splendorous feature then deskwork and conference area, and designed by various materials and colors. Public area also shows very active design concept then past times.

The CMYK is the mathematical color model and the Musell system is an intuitive color model. CMYK color model needs to be proposed in the information age. These two models need to be integrated for convenience of color design. This paper deals with CMRK values, which have appeared in interior design, in association with the Munsell code. Firstly, color samples have been extracted from the cases of interior design. Secondly, the CMRK values of the color sample and the Munsell code have been found. Thirdly, relationship between the CMRK values has been formularized in comparison with the Whelan's color pallette by using the regression method. This paper concludes by proposing the formular which can be used to develope color palette in further research.
