Analysis of the Correlation between Human Sensibility and Physical Property of luminous Sources -Focused on Response according to Character of Color Temperature by luminous Sources- (건축조명광원의 광학적 특성에 따른 인간의 감성반응 분석 -조명광원별 색온도 특성에 따른 반응을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this research is to acquire emotional data on luminous source by measuring and evaluating human emotional response to the change of the optical feature of luminous environment Luminous sources used in actual architectural space were selected with the optical feature of luminous soured then to measure and analysis human emotional response on Luminous Source. As a result of that 1) In the result of performance measurement by the item of the clear vision of an optic function the fluorescent lamp of daylight indicated the most excellent Performance. 2) In the item of fatigue and stress, the metal halide lamp and mercury lamp showed the most 3) In $\ulcorner$ suitable in light$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$a similar with daylight$\lrcorner$ adjective of the amenity item the fluorescent lamp of daylight which color temperature was high turned up to be high also, in $\ulcorner$brilliant$\lrcorner$, adjective, the metal halide lamp and mercury lamp turned up to be low. 4) In the result of factor analysis, three factors $\ulcorner$activity$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$potency$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$evaluation$\lrcorner$ were abstracted and $\ulcorner$activity$\lrcorner$ factor has the most influential on evaluating the mood of interior space. 5) For the affection in the mood evaluation by each luminous sources, $\ulcorner$activity$\lrcorner$ factor was the most influential by metal halide lamp and fluorescent lamp of daylight, $\ulcorner$potency$\lrcorner$ factor was most influential by kind of incandescent lamp, $\ulcorner$evaluation$\lrcorner$ factor was most influential by fluorescent lamp of low color temperature.

Optimization of Light Source Combination through the Illuminance and Color Temperature Simulation of Circadian Lighting Apparatus (감성조명용 조명기기의 조도 및 색온도 시뮬레이션을 통한 광원 조합의 최적화)

  • The aim of this study is to optimize the light source combination which can maximize the capability of the illuminance and color temperature of circadian lighting apparatus. To achieve this goal, the circadian lighting apparatus was consisted of two different types of fluorescent lamps having different color temperature of 2000K and 8000K, respectively, and the capability of the illuminance and color temperature of circadian lighting apparatus was evaluated by optical simulation as the number of the respective lamps were varied. Considering the Kruithof's curve and exceptional cases, the ranges of illuminance and color temperature for the living activities were reclassified in 4 groups - gathering, studying, relaxing and sleeping - so that the target range of illuminance and color temperature of lighting apparatus was settled. As a result, in the case of adopting two fixtures in which four 2000K lamps and five 8000K lamps were consisted, respectively to one fixture, the highest illuminance was expected at 4000K and over 500lx of illuminance was calculated between 3000K and 6000K. Through the optimized combination of light sources, the range of illuminance and color temperature were calculated as $44{\sim}750lx$ and $2500{\sim}6500K$, respectively.

Effects of Light Intensity on the Growth Characteristics of Trachelospermum asiaticum var. intermedium Nakai and Piper kadzura Ohwi (광조건이 마삭줄과 후추등의 생육에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to develop new indoor plants and to investigate the effects of light intensity on the growth of Trachelospermum asiaticum var. intermedium Nakai and Piper kauzura. Most of T. asiaticum var. intermedium Nakai under 100 lux light intensity were blighted in two months, whereas survival rate was 83.3% after five months under 1,000 lux and 2,500 lux. Plant height, number of leaf, leaf width and leaf length increased as light intensity increased. The plants maintained under 2,500 lux showed the greatest plant height and leaf number. Piper kadzura Ohwi was defoliated and blighted in four months under 100 lux light intensity, whereas survival rate was 100% after five months under 1,000 lux and 2,500 lux. But, 1,000 lux light intensity was more favorable chlorophyll contents, leaf length and leaf width than 2,500 lux light intensity. Slight increase of chlorophyll contents and leaf growth under 1,000 lux indicates that Piper kadzura Ohwi could be utilized highly as a indoor ornamental plant.

  • LED, the next-generation light source, rapidly develops and has advantages of low power, high efficiency, and long life. Accordingly, an interest in lightings by using LED rises. If emotional lighting is implemented by using LED, all colors can be represented by using 3 primary colors of light, differently from the conventional single-color lighting. LED emotional lightings which can control human emotions continue to be developed thanks to these advantages. This study was conducted to design an algorithm for expressing LED emotional lighting in line with the situation and temperature by extracting colors for concentration and resting situations in indoor environment and mixing them with colors of the temperature felt by user. The LED emotional lighting designed with a neuro-fuzzy system was found to have effects on user's emotions during concentration and resting.

  • Load managing method on road became necessary since overloaded vehicles occur damage on road facilities and existing systems for preventing this damage still show many problems. Accordingly, efficient managing system for preventing overloaded vehicles could be organized by using the road itself as a scale by applying genetic algorithm to analyze the load and the drive information of vehicles. First of all, accurate analysis of load using the behavior of road itself is needed for solving illegal axle manipulation problems of overloaded vehicles and for installing intelligent embedded load analyzing system. Accordingly in this study, to use the behavior of road, the transformation was measured by installing underground box type indoor model and indoor experiment was held using genetic algorithm and 10% error were checked.

  • Nowadays, Advanced country have devised a plan energy-saving through lighting effectiveness and increasing performance of lighting control system. If it uses the LED as a source of light then conserve electricity by 50%. This paper implement LEMS(Lighting Energy Management System) that applicate and Smart Dimmer and Smart Switch that control the digital LED light, support wired-wireless communication using USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network). This system of validity and reliability control special purpose lamp including indoor and outdoor lighting and landscape lighting effectively. It minimize the use of indoor and outdoor lighting energy by USN remote integral control function of Digital System Lighting of LED and increase effectiveness of energy and is a collaborative system that can feedback the use of electricity by measurement itself through Web and Switch.

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate spray characteristics of GDI injector that is economic and environment-friendly. Injector characteristics such as penetration length, spray angle and mixture formation were measured using experimental visualization technique. Especially, it has been analyzed that the influences of ambient pressure and injection pressure on penetration length and spray angle. To visualize the spray, a constant volume combustion chamber and fuel supply system have been manufactured. A high-speed camera and LED light source have been applied to obtain spray images. The experimental and visualization result shows that the penetration length is increased as decreasing ambient pressure and/or increasing injection pressure. Also, ambient pressure and injection pressure have minor effect on the spray angle variation.

  • The improvement of perspectives on dark and limited underground space could be an important factor in successful underground space development. The Current trend in the apartment underground parking garages requires not only quantitatively energy efficient design and operation but also qualitative improvement of the space. For this, we need to consider two factors: Firstly, to understand the characteristics of the lamps; Secondly, to improve the uniformity ratio of illuminance. In a winter season, a way to keep the uniformity and a method not to lower the indoor illuminance level by cold ambient air should be established. Therefore, a change in interval and arrangement of the lighting fixtures is required. Also, in their operations, the current time-fixed control method needs to be changed into the control which method considers the use pattern.

  • Since the first lighting light source was invented, lighting has turned into superior-quality lighting considering the amenity of occupants, and the characteristics of a light source has developed rapidly. So this research confirmed the lighting performance of a dimmer control system and an ON-OFF control system via the existing light source, and analyzed the basic lighting environment of Permanent Supplementary Artificial Lighting of Interiors(PSALI) through the physical comparison and evaluation of a LED lamp substituted for a fluorescent lamp used in a dimmer control system, showing that the lighting physical quantity characteristics of an ON-OFF control system and a dimmer control system are similar to each other and that they are effective in terms of energy saving. Besides, it was shown that introducing a LED light source to a dimmer control system improves lighting environments and largely reduces energy consumption.

  • PVT(Photovoltaic Thermal) 모듈은 태양광과 태양열 에너지를 동시 이용이 가능한 모듈로서 태양광전지(PV, Photovoltaic)모듈에 열교환기를 접합한 형태로 전기에너지뿐만 아니라 열에너지를 동시에 생산할 수 있는 시스템이다. 기존 PV 모듈은 일사량이 많으면 전력 생산량이 증가하는 동시에 PV모듈의 온도가 상승함에 따라 발전 효율이 감소하는 문제점이 있으며 일반적으로 $25^{\circ}C$이상 조건에서 모듈 온도가 $10^{\circ}C$ 증가할수록 발전효율의 약 4~5% 정도 감소하는 것으로 보고되고 있다. PVT 모듈은 기존 태양광모듈에 열교환기를 접합하여 냉각함으로써 PV모듈의 온도를 낮추어 발전효율을 증가시키는 동시에 부가적으로 발생하는 온수를 직접이용하거나 다양한 계통의 보조 열원으로 이용할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 수치해석기법(CFD)을 활용하여 PV모듈 냉각 및 온수 발생을 위한 열교환기를 설계하였으며 다양한 형상의 열교환기에 대해 유동해석을 수행하여 최적의 열흡수효율을 갖는 열교환기의 형상을 설계하였다. 또한 최적 설계된 PVT 모듈을 제작하여 실제 태양과 유사한 광원을 갖는 인공태양조건에서의 실내 실험을 통해 PVT 모듈의 성능을 검증하였으며 또한 실제 노상에 설치하여 ASHRAE 93-77의 실험기준과 ECN의 PVT 집열기 성능측정 가이드라인에 따라 옥외 시험평가를 하여 PVT 모듈의 성능 검증을 하였다. 최적 설계된 PVT모듈에 대한 성능평가 결과 기존 PV 모듈보다 발전효율이 약 15%(기존 발전효율 대비) 향상된 결과를 확인하였다.
