As the development of digital and technological sophistication, architectural speculation hierarchy had been more and further diversified and brought on the changes with system of architectural color meaning. Architectural color had been influences on evocation of effect and meaning by association, had the attributes of communication with human being, in common with precision, non-verbal and non-quantitative creative field. Color could not been defined as one conclusively standard symbol and figured out in inter-relationship with correlation, mental status and interaction. Color in architecture could been promptly defined as the tool of visualization in building or structure through the essential criterion to be measured with shape, space and author's thought. In consequence, color in architecture could been re-defined as the speculation concept for real characteristics creation(color as design factors on architect and color to be expressed by program) in itself, and color supporting system as for transposition of light and space enlargement scheme. Consequently, color in architecture could been turnover from perceived color to anthropological color through the real value creation scheme in itself.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the color scheme based on the color image types through the color analysis of workstation furniture which is on the market. This color scheme of the workstation furniture is expected to be give the comfort to office environment when planning office. For this study, It is selected the three furniture firms that have a brand of office furniture and their web site that is showed color sample of furniture. The following researches are drawn based upon the purpose. First, the color image types of interior space is classified and the color image words that are suitable for each types is extracted based on the results of existing literature. Second, the distribution of its hue and tone is analysed after collecting the each firm's color sample of desk top, panel and chair. Third, the color image appearing in each furniture color is analysed by color image scale positioning. Forth, the color scheme of desk top, panel and chair is suggested by its color scheme palette. The result of this study is expected to help comfortable environment by providing the color scheme for selection of furniture color in work space. Not all color of each furniture is sufficient to be combined color scheme, the result is indicated that the color scheme of workstation by color image types is possible for color planning in office environment.

This study aims to analyze how the color of Korean traditional architecture affects its plasticity. The researcher took (our distant and near photographs of each representative building of each use, measured the colors, and analyzed these using the color perception theory. The results are summarized as follows: 1. When perceiving the entire plasticity of a building, the color of Korean traditional architecture reduces the heavy feeling that may be brought about by the roof's weight, but stresses the solidity of the pillars. This color perception effect displays the visual stability and balanced plastic beauty of the building's facade. 2. When looking at a building up close, the building's color emphasizes the solidity of the major materials used to construct it through a contrast effect, and highlights the characteristics of each building, such as the dignity of its seal engraving, its magnificence, its simplicity, etc. 3. The color of Korean traditional architecture is a major factor that expresses plastic language as it displays topographical level differences and intercepts or opens view through the artificial division of space, etc., according to the building's use.

This study is a basic research to suggest user-centered healthcare environmental color, which aims to analyze tendency of color consciousness and preference depending on the user characteristics (generation, gender, residential area, and environment). For this purpose, this study constructed an analysis tool through the literature review with regard to environmental color of healthcare facility and influential factors of color preference. Besides, an online survey regarding general usage and satisfaction, health related color consciousness, and color preference tendency of healthcare facility was conducted targeting from 20s to 60s, total 1,500 persons. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The usage and satisfaction of healthcare facilities were higher for older generation and accessible urban area. (2) The respondents were aware that color and health are related, recognizing 'green' as healthy and stress relieving color. Besides, 'natural' and 'clear' was the highest in health related color image. 'Light' which relates to vitality was high as well for older generation. (3) In the color preference tendency survey, hue PB was generally the most highly preferred, in details, younger generation preferred B and R while older generation preferred G. The survey also showed high value and chroma were preferred, while female and younger generation preferred high value of 9.0 and low chroma close to achromatic color, which presented older generation preferred vivid color.

본 연구의 배경 및 목적은 다음과 같다. 어린이병원은 색채에 대한 디자인 의존도가 높으며, 성인과 어린이가 함께 이용하는 공간으로써 이용자 특성을 고려한 색채계획이 요구된다. 이용자의 만족도를 향상시키기 위하여 선호도 조사를 통한 연구가 실시되어 왔다. 이러한 연구결과는 심미적 측면에서 이용자에게 만족감은 제공할 수 있지만, 선호된 색채로 구성된 공간이 이용자들의 인지적 측면에서 주목성을 높여준다는 근거 자료를 제시하는 데는 한계가 있다. 이러한 문제를 보완하기 위한 공간에서의 색채 지각에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이와 같은 필요성에 따라 시선추적실험을 통해 어린이병원 로비공간에서 선호 색채가 시지각 주의집중에 미친 영향을 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 연구방법 및 내용, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성인과 어린이를 대상으로 각각 선호하는 이미지 1장씩을 실험이미지로 선정하였다. 둘째, 피험자 그룹을 성인과 어린이로 구성하고 선정된 2가지 이미지에 대한 시선추적 실험을 실시하였다. 셋째, 실험을 통해 얻은 주시데이터를 토대로 구역별 주시분포 결과를 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 성인과 어린이는 각 그룹별로 선호하는 색채로 구성된 공간이미지에 시지각 주의집중이 높았다. 둘째, 주의집중의 정도에 따라 중앙에서 상부로, 이어서 좌·우측과 하부로 변화하며 외곽부에는 주의집중이 거의 발생하지 않았다. 셋째, 어린이는 성인에 비하여 공간을 탐색할 때 주의집중도가 빨리 하락하였다. 본 연구는 성인과 어린이의 색채 환경에 대한 지각 특성의 차이를 시선추적실험으로 분석하여, 색채디자인 분야와 인지과학 분야와의 융복합적 연구를 통해보다 과학과 예술의 다학제적 연구활동의 가능성을 제시하였다. 향후 연구는 색채에 대한 시지각 특성을 보다 면밀하게 분석하기 위하여 색채가 적용된 공간요소별로 세분화하여 분석하는 것이 필요할 것이다.

One of the main motivations of this research process is to develop an adaptable VR model whose color can be changed according to the emotional information of user. This paper addresses how to define color scheme and combine colors with harmony. The adaptable color of the VR model consists of three processes: emotional keyword identification, the color combination and the VR model adaptation processes. We have used the biorhythm to derive the emotional keyword which is used to find the color harmony scheme. The color harmony scheme provides information for the color combination of the VR model. Finally, we have obtained the VR model which color has been changed using the identified color schema.

This thesis on the basis of the "Sasang"(the four classification by the physical constitution) that becomes the focus of the public interest in Korea intends to grasp a color image and serve basic materials for the color usage in the interior design planning. It tries to identify the relationship between physical constitution and color. The color planning for experiment plans to be related to Korean traditional color. Analysis result on color and color image to patterns of interior color shows that the physical constitution in measure difference is bigger than sex among the many image evaluation items. Therefore, the interior color preference of Korean is bright hue and tint such as warm and cool color.

Since Korea has already become the 'aging society' and is expected to become the 'aged society' by 2019, development of the facilities and dedicated housing for the senior citizens have become the key issues. The growing population of the older people, changed in the social structure, family type, and the way of living brings a moment to consider the various aspects to support the older people. The purpose of this research is to analyze the interior color characteristics. Based on the research will provide a direction for color planning of elderly housing facilities in Korea. For this purpose, a field survey was conducted between October 17-21 in Japan. The research method employed was an empirical case study visiting 6 senior housing facilities in Japan, Osaka area. First, the brightness used in the senior housing facilities in Japan ranges from high value to low value while the chroma ranges from the middle chroma to low chroma. The warm colors of Y, YR and R are mainly used.

Finishing materials and colors which were expressed in the space is an important factor to decide the imagination of the space. Therefore if we analyze and spotlight the space with that factors again, we will readily know the characteristics that are expressed in our living space. A purpose of this study is how the traditionality like national thoughts, customs and behavior patterns is changed, arranged and expressed in the korean housing space in the 21c on the finishing materials and colors. Though this study we can know that the traditionality which are expressed in modern housing spaces shows with accommodating to characteristic that is expressed in traditional housing spaces.

The use of colors plays an important role in the field of space design. The selection of proper colors influences on people who use space by making the most of the psychological and physical functions of colors. Especially, the medical space is relatively more important than other indoor spaces in the selection of colors. The medical space has to be something to do with diversity and functions, and at the same time with stability and quietude, as well as the space with general convenient facilities. Color is not only related to the expression but also to the distinction of things and the existence. It also functions as a visual language. Human beings depend heavily on the function of color as a visual language. According to previous studies, human beings depend on color by 80% of the whole range of eyesight. Thus, color is an important factor in recognizing things and space. For example, in hospital, it Is very important to apply proper colors to various medical treatment spaces for the sake of patients' rest and healing. Various colors which do not consider the function of patients' rest and healing may make the space confusing against the change of space and structure. It is also important to apply colors to the change of space and structure. Another key point that I would like to make is that color has visual, direct and physical influence on the human body. For example, the color red with long wavelength serves to regulate body temperature. Research on the color scheme for hospitals should consider both physical and psychological factors. That is why the research should be carried out in depth through continuous clinical demonstration. The present research aims to outline color planning.
