CMOS 회로의 단락 전류 예측 기법 (Estimation Method of Short Circuit Current in CMOS Circuits)

  • 본 논문은 정적 CMOS 회로의 단락 전류로 인한 전력소모와 게이트의 전달 지연시간을 구하기 위한 간단한 방법을 제시한다. 단락전류식은 게이트와 드레인 사이에 존재하는 커플링 커패시턴스의 영사한 후 모형화한 전류 수식을 기반으로 CMOS 회로의 지연 시간을 예측하기 위한 거시모형과 수식들을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 시뮬레이션을 통하여 현재의 기술 동향 특성인 신호 천이시간과 부하 커패시턴스가 감소하는 경우에 대해 이전의 연구보다 더욱 정확하고 신속히 예측할 수 있음을 보였다. 또한 제안된 거시 모형은 전류식이 변할지라도 전력소모와 타이밍 수준에서의 지연시간을 계산하는데 쉽게 적용이 가능하다.

  • A sliding mode controller associated with the moving sliding surface is formulate for the tip position control of a single-link flexible manipulator. After establishing the plant model which characterizes a noncollocated control system, a discontinuous control law is then constructed by restricting that velocity state variables are not available from direct sensor measurements. Using the proposed control law favorable system responses are accomplished through shortening the reaching phase without increasing maximum control torque. Furthermore, a low sensitiveness to extraneous disturbance is obtained. Computer simulations are undertaken in order to demonstrate these superior control performance characteristics to be accrued from the proposed methodology.

고리형 어븀첨가 광섬유 레이저의 수동형 모드로킹에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Passive Modelocking of Ring Type Er-doped Fiber laser)

  • 어븀 첨가된 고리형 광섬유 레이저를 제작하여 외부 조절기를 적용하지 않은 수동형 모드로킹을 구현하였다. 모드로킹 현상은 단일 모드로킹 과정과 이중 모드로킹 과정이 관측되었고 분산천이 광섬유의 길이를 변화시켜 65 fs의 시간폭을 갖는 초단 펄스를 얻었다. 한편 고차조화모드로킹과 Q스위치된 고차조화 모드로킹도 구현하였는데, 연속파 고차조화 모드로킹은 17차까지 구현하였으며, 펌프 전력의 감소가 연속파 고차 조화 모드로킹에서 Q스위치된 고차조화 모드로킹으로 변화시키며 이러한 과정이 편광조절기에 의해서도 이루어 졌다 이러한 일련의 초단 펄스열의 연구는 광통신용 신호원으로 개발에 중요한 역할을 한다.

  • A new robust sliding mode controller is formulated for the tip position control of a single-link flexible manipulator with parameter variations. After establishing the plant model characterized by a noncollocated uncertain control system, a sliding surface which guarantees stable sliding mode motion is synthesized in an optimal manner. The surface is then modified to adapt arbitrarily given initial conditions. A discontinuous control law associated with the modified surface is designed by restricting that velocity state variables are not available from direct sensor measurements. Using the proposed control law favorable system responses are accomplished through shortening the reaching phase of state trajectory without increasing maximum control torque as well as undesirable chattering. Furthermore, a low sensitiveness to uncertainties is obtained from inherent salient properties of the proposed control system. Computer simulations are undertaken in order to demonstrate these superior control performance characteristics to be accrued from the proposed methodology.

매니퓰레이터를 이용한 지하 매설물 탐지의 효율적 탐지경로에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effective Scanning Trajectory using Manipulator for Underground Object Detection)

  • This paper shows an effective scanning trajectory for a mine detection device that is one of the mission equipments of unmanned ground vehicle. The mine detection device is composed of a mine-detection sensor, and a 4 DOF manipulator enabling sensor position control. There are three modes that manage the mine detection device: passive, semi-automatic, and automatic. The automatic mode is used the most. This paper suggests a scanning method that makes shape of 8. This method prevents missing target area and enhances scanning speed when the mine detection device scans the ground surface in automatic mode. The suggested method is verified by simulations and experiments.

  • In conventional small signal stability analysis, system is assumed to be invariant and the state space equations are used to calculate the eigenvalues of state matrix. However, when a system contains switching elements such as FACTS devices, it becomes non-continuous system. In this case, a mathematically rigorous approach to system small signal stability analysis is by means of eigenvalue analysis of the system periodic transition matrix based on discrete system analysis method. In this research, RCF(Resistive Companion Form) method is used to analyse small signal stability of a non-continuous system including switching elements'. Applying the RCF method to the differential and integral equations of power system, generator, controllers and FACTS devices including switching elements should be modeled in the form of state transition matrix. From this state transition matrix eigenvalues which are mapped to unit circle can be calculated.

  • This paper presents a method for classification of underwater transient signals using, which employs a binary image pattern of the mel-frequency cepstral coefficients(MFCC) as a feature vector and a neural network as a classifier. A feature vector is obtained by taking DCT and 1-bit quantization for the square matrix of the MFCC sequences. The classifier is a feed-forward neural network having one hidden layer and one output layer, and a back propagation algorithm is used to update the weighting vector of each layer. Experimental results with some underwater transient signals demonstrate that the proposed method is very promising for classification of underwater transient signals.

  • This paper presents a reference template design method for frame-based classification of underwater transient signals. In the proposed method, framebased feature vectors of each reference signal are clustered by using LBG clustering algorithm to reduce the number of feature vectors in each class. Experimental results have shown that drastic reduction of the reference database can be achieved while maintaining the classification performance with LBG clustering algorithm.

  • synchronizer의 입력단에 비동기된 두 신호가 인가되었을 때 일어나는 Metastable 현상에 대한 회로의 해석과 Metastable point에서 stable state로 천이되는 과정에서 일어나는 현상을 해석하였으며, 이러한 mishappen 상태에 의해 기인하는 logic failure를 개선하기 위한 방법으로써, Inverter Method, open collector Method를 사용하여 올바른 논리를 이론과 실험을 통하여 구현하였다.
