  • The trajectory of an current artillery munition is subject to a variety of different error sources resulting in more or less big deviation from the nominal predicted flight path. The 1D CCM(Course Correction Munition) has appeared to solve this problem and the mechanism of 1D CCM is a simple and low cost one using the influence of drag to range behavior of an artillery munition. In the paper 1D CCM concept has been simulated using wind tunnel experiment results of the specified Korean munition with CCF(Course Correction Fuze) and calculated the performance of its rang error reduction. From the simulated results it can be numerically explained that the possibility of adaptation of 1D CCM concept to Korean artillery munitions.

  • This research is investigated an energy saving system based on human detecting technique. It saves a lot of energy by automatic switching method of lighting, appliance, and so on. Existence of people on space is detected by infrared ray sensor. If there is not anybody during definite time, then main controller of system sends "power off" signal to lighting switches, and outlets. When people are detected again, turn on lighting switches and outlets. Result of this research is adaptable for classrooms and offices, and great effect of energy saving is expected.

  • In this paper, a novel impact sensing device for an ESAF(Electronic Safe and Arming Fuze) is presented. An impact sensing device is mounted in front of a weapon, and it detects an impact when it crashes against a target. There are two main design requirements to enhance the firing functional reliability of the ESAF; an operational reliability and a reduced latency, which is a delay time needed for sensing the impact. The design method of the contact-type impact sensing device, which employs an FPCB(Flexible Printed Circuit Board) so it can be used other weapons, is proposed. The tests demonstrated that the design described in this work show a reduced delay time with ensuring the operational reliability.

  • Research and Analisis for the qualities of chest films of emergency cases were completed in order to produce a valuable one of diagnostic necessity. It is resulted as follows; 1. Among the 3,505 cases of chest films, 47% of them was poor conditioned the reason was fowned as of unsuitable exposure. 2. It become the same condition when we increased 11.4% of KVp in full exhalation compare with the full inhalation of erect position and 20% after full exhalation and 4.3% after full inhalation in supine position. The result was that no difference between prone position and supine position was fowned. 3. When respiration volume is different, proper control of KVp is extremely needed.

  • The neural network method has been introduced to design a controller for linear motor feed system and system operation status was monitored. It is most difficult to achieve controller gain tuning because of the information limit. Regardless of the system structure, conventional control gain could be adjusted minimizing the resulting error for both position and velocity using the proposed method. Slight performance deterioration was observed at the small value of training epoch. Different controller performance for position was observed with respect changed sampling time. Actuated system performance was monitored using neural network signal processing and operational status was predicted with the rate of 80% approximately.

  • A variable cutting speed control model was developed to be implemented for the flexible disk grinding process Control algorithm was based on the error referred by the discrepancy between current disk angle and intended one that are pro-posed to produce desired resulting depth of cut. Controller was implemented in two different aspect One was to initiate the control law from the beginning while the other was to activate as soon as the disk start to produce ground surface i.e. The beginning of the between edges stage. Several performance analysis were conducted comparing various process parameters such as cutting force disk angle depth of cut and disk speed with respect to process transition time Tentative results revealed that controller implemented from the earlier stages of the process showed better performance than the other revealed that controller implemented from the earlier stages of the process showed better performance that the other.

  • The evolution of leading waves generated by a wavemaker in a two-dimensional tank has been studied. The front of wave trains can be described in general by the Schrodinger equation. In particular, when the slope of the carrier waves is steep, and hence nonlinearity becomes important, the cubic Schrodinger equation is proved to be an appropriate mathematical model. Computations are made by using the Crank-Nicolson algorithm and compared with experimental data. It is found that the numerical result predicts the evolution of leading waves fairly well and the evolution is significantly affected by nonlinearity for steep waves when kh>1.36.

  • This paper proposes on the blocking method of Internet harmful sex sites by accoustic signal processing. Pre-existing methods mainly focused on directory-based blocking and words-based blocking. But these methods are not completely blocked the Internet harmful sites. Therefore, we propose the content-based blocking method which compose of the image-based blocking and the accoustic-based blocking. In this paper, we mainly deal with the accoustic -based blocking method. Finally, the effectiveness of this system is demonstrated by several experiments.

  • White mutant of Ganoderma lucidum(G4142) induced the non-basediocarpous basidiospores(NBB) from the aerial mycelia on agar media by the light illumination. Light was found to be necessary for NBB formation, but it also inhibited the growth of mycelium. The best sporulation was obtained at the periodic exposure of 16 hour light and 8 hour dark. Blue and yellow light were the most effective on sporulation, however, near UV and red light did not induce any spores. Effective light intensity for NBB bearing was about 1,000 lux as white light. Even after 16 days of culture, this strain did not form the pinhead nor chlamydospore. Optimum temperature for the mycelial growth and NBB formation were 30$\circ $C. Ganoderma lucidum G4142 exhibited the formation of stroma after five days of incubation at 30$\circ $C.

  • This paper presents a measuring technique for bursting height of proximity fuses. This technique uses camera calibration to obtain the perspective transformation matrix describing the projection of the world coordinates to image coordinates, and calculates the world coordinates of bursting points from their image coordinates. The surface approximation algorithm by polynomial functions are also implemented.
