Thickness Measurements of the Base Concrete by the Impact-Resonance Test (탄성파 충격공지법에 의한 기초 콘크리트의 두께 측정)

  • Thicknesses of the hase concrete blocks supportmg large machmes were estimated by analyzing the res- 0 ¬nance modes of mechanical Vibrations The vibration was produced by the mechanical impact with steel ball drop and detected by a wideband comcal piezoelectric transducei. The detected signals were analyzed by FFT and thicknesses of specimen were determined by the resonant frequency of vibratIon. For the layered concrete block, the estimated thickness is dependent on the acoustic reflective index at the boundary between layers. The estimated thickness up to 100em were in goo:l agreement with the real value. In additlOn. this technique could be applicable to the estimation of the bondmg status of the layered structures.

Fatigue Strength of Tensile Specimen with Butt Welded Joints (인장시험체 맞대기 용접부의 피로강도)

  • Fatigue tests were carried out for butt welded joints with SM520-TMC steel plate with thickness between 20mm and 80mm. The test results were analysed statistically and the effect of plate thickness on the fatigue strength investigated. The fatigue strengths based on nominal stress range satisfy the requirement of the standards. Due to misalignment of the specimens, the measured stresses are higher than the nominal stresses especially for 20mm thick plates. If fatigue strengths are evaluated based on the measured stresses, then the fatigue strengths are greater than those based on nominal stresses. The results show that the thickness effect is similar to the formula proposed by Gurney.

  • 기계적으로 연마한 고속도강과 구리 두 종류의 서로 다른 기판상에 dc 마그네트론 스파터법으로 TiN 박막을 성막시켜 코팅층의 비커스 미소경도를 측정하였다. 압입체의 침투깊이와 시험하중과의 관계를 log-log 좌표상에 도시함으로써 기판의 영햐응ㄹ 받지 않고 코팅층만의 경도를 측정할수 있는 최대하중인 임계하중(critical load)을 구할수 있었다. 임계하중을 가했을 때 압입체의 침투깊이와 코팅층 두께간의 비율은 코팅층의 두께에 무관하였고 기판의 경도에 크게 의존하였다.

  • This study is to analyze the influence of correction factor and specimen thickness on the fundamental properties of porous concrete. Results of this study were shown as follows; 1) As correction factor decrease, compaction time according to correction factor and specimen thickness decrease. Also, though correction factor is same, as specimen thickness increase, compaction time increase. So It mutt be considered that the influence of compaction time according to correction factor and specimen thickness. 2) As correction factor decrease, difference of measured thickness and designed thickness according to correction factor and specimen thickness decrease. Also, correction factor of aggregate of 10~l5mm is smaller than that of 5~l0mm. So It must be considered that the influence of correction factor according to size of aggregate.

  • 두께는 일정하나 너비가 균일하게 변하는 판스프링들로 구성된 너비감소 판형 홀다운 스프링 집합체에 대한 탄성강성도 특성해석을 수행하였다. 국산 경수로 핵연료의 홀다운스프링 집합체와 동일한 설계공간내에 있도록 고안한 여러 종류의 너비감소 판형 홀다운 스프링 집합체 시편에 대한 탄성강성도를 해석적으로 평가하였고 특성시험을 수행하였다 또한 실제 시험 결과들을 잘 예측할 수 있도록 Euler 보 이론과 변형률 에너지법에 근거한 탄성강성도 평가방법을 보정하였다.

  • Ultrasonic pulse-echo methods measuring the transit time through specimens have been widely used in determination of ultrasonic velocity and thickness of specimens. Usually, to determine the velocity of the ultrasonic. the transit time of the ultrasonic pulse through specimen is measured by using the ultrasonic measuring equipment such as the oscilloscope including ultrasonic pulser/receiver and the thickness of the specimen is measured by using the length measuring instrument such as micrometer or vernier calipers etc., i. e. each parameter is measured by using each measuring method. In the case of the measuring the thickness of a specimen by using the ultrasonics. the ultrasonic equipments, which measure the thickness, such as the ultrasonic thickness gauge must be calibrated by using the reference block of which the ultrasonic velocity is known beforehand. In the present work, we proposed a new method for simultaneous measurement of ultrasonic velocity and thickness without reference blocks. Experimental results for several specimens show that proposed method have good agreements with those by traditional ultrasonic method.

The Effect of Chloride on the Corrosion of Reinforced Concrete (염화물이 철근콘크리트의 부식에 미치는 영향)

  • It is found that as contents of chloride ion and age increase, area of corrosion also increases. Inare increased to 1035 days from 730 days, slope of increase of corrosion area is greatest. Non-rust inhibitor specimens show corrosion area of 8~35 times more than rust inhibitor specimens and anticorrosive effects by application of rust inhibitor can be confirmed. When chloride ion is not contained, corrosion control effects of steel reinforcing according to increase of thickness are found, but specimens having chloride ion show no regular tend of thickness and corrosion due to complex problems such as reverse diffusion of chloride and test errors.

조사시험용 DUPIC 핵연료의 온도분석

  • DUPIC 핵연료 소결체의 하나로 조사시험과 관련하여 이중 피복관으로 구성된 소결체 설계를 수행하였으며 각각의 설계변수가 핵연료의 온도에 미치는 영향하였다. 하나로에서 조사할 DUPIC 핵연료의 설계해석 결과, DUPIC 핵연료의 조사시험시 열전도도, 출력, 반경 틈새 등은 핵연료의 온도에 크게 영향을 미쳤으며, 피복재 두께, gamma열, 열전달 계수 등은 핵연료의 온도에 크게 영향을 미치지 않았다. Transient 온도분석의 경우 약 160초 이상의 시간에서 평형 온도에 도달할 것으로 분석되었다.

Effects of Thickness, Elastomer Types and Thinner Content on Actuation Performance of Electro Active Dielectric Elastomers (탄성체의 두께, 종류 및 희석제 함유량이 전기활성 유전탄성체의 구동 성능에 미치는 영향)

  • The actuation performance of an EADE (Electro-active dielectric elastomer) is studied as functions of thinner content, thickness and types of the dielectric elastomer such as natural (NR), acrylonitrile-butadiene (NBR), and silicon (KE-12) rubbers. With a decrease in elastomer thickness ($1{\rightarrow}0.5{\rightarrow}0.25{\rightarrow}0.1{\rightarrow}0.05$ mm) and an increase in thinner content ($0{\rightarrow}30{\rightarrow}50$ phr), the actuating displacement of KE-12 elastomer is increased, however their breakdown occurs at low voltage. For the same thickness (1 mm), the displacement of KE-12 elastomer shows a higher value (2.24 mm) compared to that of NR or NBR at the same applied voltage of 25 kV. The KE-12 has the lowest elastic modulus and the NBR has the highest one among the tested elastomers. However, the displacement of NBR elastomer is higher compared to that of NR because of high dielectric constant. It is found that the important factors of EADE actuator are a thickness, modulus and dielectric constant of the elastomer.

PCB상의 전자파노이즈 억제용 전파흡수체 개발

  • 본 논문에서는 Flake Sendust 금속분말을 이용하여 ISM 대역에서 PCB 노이즈 억제용 전파흡수체를 설계 제작하고 검토한 결과를 보고한다. 먼저 자성손실 재료인 Sendust 금속분말을 사용한 전파흡수체의 특성을 예비 시험한 후, 그 특성을 개선하기 위하여 Flake Sendust 분말과 CPE의 조성비를 각각 60 : 40 wt.%, 70 : 30 wt.%, 80 : 20 wt.%로 하고, 두께 1 mm, 2 mm의 sheet형 전파흡수체 샘플을 제작하였다. Network Analyzer를 이용하여 제작한 샘플의 반사계수를 측정하고, -2법으로 재료정수(복소비유전율, 복소비투자율)을 계산하였다. 계산된 재료정수값을 이용하여 최적의 전파흡수체를 설계하여, 조성비 Flake Sendust : CPE = 70 : 30 wt.%, 두께 0.55 mm의 전파흡수체를 제작하였다. 이 전파흡수체는 2.44 GHz 대역에서 5.45 dB의 흡수능을 나타냄으로써 목표치인 5 dB를 달성하였다.
