Seismic Response Prediction of a Structure Using Experimental Modal Parameters from Impact Tests (충격시험에 의한 실험모드특성을 이용한 구조물의 지진응답 예측)

  • An in-cabinet response spectrum should be generated to perform the seismic qualification of devices and instruments mounted inside safety-related electrical equipment installed in nuclear power plants. The response spectrum is available by obtaining accurate seismic responses at the device mounting location of the cabinet. The dynamic behavior of most of electrical equipment may not be easily analyzed due to their complex mass and stiffness distributions. Considering these facts, this study proposes a procedure to estimate the seismic responses of a structure by a combination of a test and subsequent analysis. This technique firstly constructs the modal equations of the structure by using the experiment modal parameters obtained from the impact test. Then the seismic responses of the structure may be calculated by a mode superposition method. A simple steel frame structure was fabricated as a specimen for the validation of the proposed method. The seismic responses of the specimen were estimated by using the proposed technique and compared with the measurements obtained from the shaking table tests. The study results show that it is possible to accurately estimate the seismic response of the structure by using the experimental modal parameters obtained from the impact test.

  • Recently a system is being required to replace ILS due to increasing air traffic. In this paper, Curved approach is applied to an airport where ILS approach cannot be applied due to its geographical condition and restricted aerospace condition, and verified by flight test. After analysing conditions of Tae-an airfield of Hanseo University with virtual ILS approach, airfield applicability was evaluated by Curved approach using by GPS. Normally simulation is performed after establishing approach procedure using electric map, but recently verification is being performed by flight test without simulation because accuracy and reliability are increased. In this paper, established procedure is verified modified by flight test with Pilot Test and Auto Pilot test and controllability and passenger's stability were also checked.

  • The Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology and the Ulsan ICT Promotion Agency are building an electric smart ship using a full range of ICT with advanced technology, and are expected to demonstrate it in 2022. For the demonstration of onboard ship equipment, it needs to develop a demonstration procedure. There are 4 types of onboard equipment preferentially selected for the development of the demonstration test procedure which are an electronic chart display and information system, a ship RADAR system, a voyage data recorder, and a ship energy efficiency monitoring system. This paper describes the demonstration procedure based on the equipment standard for the electronic chart display and information system among 4 selected types of demonstration equipment, and also the verification test checklist and template is introduced.

  • The SRT(stability rating test) technique, which is indispensable for the development of a LRE(liquid rocket engine), essentially requires a development of a combustion test sequence as well as artificial perturbation devices. For the development of an indigenous SRT technique, several combustion tests of sub-scale LRE were performed to search a proper combustion test sequence. At first, a pressure-wave inducing device which is used for adapting pulse gun was designed and a cooling gas supply system for the pressure-wave inducing device was set up to prevent a malfunction of pulse gun. Through the several combustion tests which included cooling procedure of a pressure-wave inducing device, a proper combustion test sequence was found out. It did not make any significant disturbance at normal combustion process. Finally, an indigenous SRT technique has been developed successfully.

  • 지난해 12월 농약관리법, 지난 10월의 동법 시행령 개정공포에 이어 시행규칙개정령이 12월 7일 공포됐다. 이 시행규칙에서는 영업 및 농약의 등록관련절차 등 동법 및 동법시행령에서 위임된 사항과 그 시행에 관하여 필요한 사항을 정하는 등 현행제도의 운영상 나타난 일부 미비점을 개선$\cdot$보완했다. 주요 내용을 간추려 보면, $\blacktriangle$농약제조업 등의 등록신청, 제조업자 등의 지위승계신고, 영업시설 등의 변경신고와 등록증의 재교부 등 영업의 등록관련 절차를 정하고 $\blacktriangle$ 농약의 등록제를 도입함에 따라 농약의 품목 및 원제의 등록신청, 등록 신청 서류의 보완, 지위 승계신고와 변경등록 및 등록취소 등 농약의 등록관련 절차를 정했다. 또한 $\blacktriangle$ 시험성적서의 제출면제품목에 대하여 제출이 면제되는 시험성적서를 정하는 한편 $\blacktriangle$ 사람 및 가축 등에 위험하다고 인정되어 농촌진흥청장의 승인을 받아 수출해야 하는 농약의 품목 및 원제의 범위를 정하고 농촌진흥청장이 수출승인에 관해 필요한 사항을 고시하도록 했다. 이밖에 $\blacktriangle$ 가정원예용 농약을 판매하고자 하는 지에 대해서는 등록기준을 완화했다.

  • The most critical factor in developing coalbed methane(CBM) reservoir is absolute permeability. Both productivity and economics of the CBM depend on the absolute permeability. The methods to estimate it are core analysis and well test. However, absolute permeability determined by core analysis cannot be a good representative of CBM reservoir. Therefore, it is generally estimated by well test. In this study, well test methods applicable of CBM reservoir were classified with their characteristics. Merits and demerits of each well tests were also analyzed. Based on those parameters, design considerations and procedures of well test were derived. After each well tests was performed, the procedure of well test interpretations to estimate reservoir properties such as absolute permeability and skin factor was presented.

  • The various levels of test are performed to verify the correctness, completeness, and quality of the developed flight software. The three main test levels are unit test, integration test and verification test. The flight software unit test is performed on the individual PC environment using target simulator. And integration and verification test is mainly performed on STB(S/W Test Bed) which provides test and debugging environments for flight software on the target board This document is to present the test environment for the next generation low earth orbit satellite flight software development.

  • This study described about the procedure and method to type certification of KAS 23 civil aircraft that is developed in domestic. It is important to obtain type certification within defined period based on the proposed process and method to prove compliance through certification basis according to certification plan. This process referred to FAA Order 8110.4 C, "Type Certification" and domestic regulation and showed example of compliance check list(CCL) defining means of compliance(MOC). Also, proposed method to prove compliance according to means of compliance and classified item of test & evaluation.

  • 신뢰할만한 임상시험연구결과를 얻기 위해서는 통계학자가 임상시험연구의 준비단계에서부터 실험계획 및 연구의 운용, 분석은 물론 결과의 보고에 이르기까지 총체적으로 관여해야 한다. 의학전문가들과의 원활한 공동연구를 위해서는 통계학자들이 의학분야에서의 용어나 관례, 임상시험이 이루어지는 절차등에 대한 명확한 이해가 필요하게 된다. 이 논문에서는 임상시험에서 진행되는 제반문제에 대해 통계학자가 숙지해야 할 사항들에 대해 논의 하였다.
