송도국제도시 중앙대로 도시철도 인접구간 연약지반처리 시험시공 사례

  • 본 연구는 인천 송도국제도시 중앙대로 구간의 도시철도공사와 인접한 연약지반 및 준설 매립층 개량공사와 관련하여 설계의 적정여부 판단 및 시공방안을 제시하기위해, 본공사에 앞서 시험시공을 통해 C.G.S의 개량효과를 확인하고 분석하였다. 시험시공결과 당초 설계제원에서 계획했던 개량효과가 만족되는 것으로 분석되었다.

A Suggestion of Mix, Construction Method and Quality Control Criteria of Fine-size Exposed Aggregate PCC Pavement by Experimental Construction (시험시공을 통한 소입경 골재노출 콘크리트 포장의 배합, 시공 및 품질관리 기준 제안)

  • Surface of fine-size exposed aggregate portland cement concrete pavements(FS-EAPCC) is consist by exposed coarse aggregate to remove upper 2~3mm mortar of concrete slabs. Advantages of FS-EAPCC are maintaining low-noise and adequate skid-resistance level during the performance period. However, FS-EAPCC is required rational management criteria for field application, since it is early stage for application. Design construction and quality control criteria of FS-EAPCC was temporary laboratory tests which including optimum mix and exposing method, selection of adequate aggregate, resistance against, environmental loading and etc. However, these criteria need to be validated base on field application. In this study, experimental constructions were performed and construction procedure and quality control criteria were suggested based on the performance of the FS-EAPCC.

  • 일반적으로 도심지에서 터널 시공을 위한 암반굴착 작업은 주변 보안물건에 대해 직접적인 피해를 유발시킬 수 있는 공해요소인 진동을 허용기준값 이하로 제어할 수 있으면서 상대적으로 시공성과 경제성이 뛰어난 공법으로 수행되어야 한다. 본 사례에서는 각내의 대표적인 문화시설인 예술의 전당 하부를 통과하는 우면산 터널 공사현장에서 암반굴착공법으로 고려한 TTM 장비를 이용한 기계굴착, 플라즈마 공법, 유압장비를 이용한 할암공법, 겔파쇄 공법, 미진동파쇄기를 이용한 공법, 진동제어발파공법에 대한 현장 적용성을 시험시공 등을 통해 평가한 내용과 결과를 제시하였다. 비록 각 도심지 터널의 현장 상황이나 주변 여건에 따라 이 현장에서의 시험시공 내용이나 적용 결과를 그대로 적용할 수는 없겠지만, 진동제어 암반굴착 공법에 대한 시험시공이나 선정 과정에 이 사례연구가 개략적인 참고자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • Experimental Post-Tensioned Concrete Pavement(PTCP) was constructed on October 13, 2008 for the first time in Korea. The length of PTCP main slab is 120m and the slab thickness is 15cm, while the width is 8.2m. From this study, design, analysis, and construction for PTCP are experienced and many data were obtained. The primary results of this study was also summarized.

  • In this application study, field pilot tests were performed to evaluate the validity of a proposed formula between the exerted electrical energy and SPT N-value based on the result of the basic study. Measurement sensors and recording system were developed to obtain exerted motor current and drilling depth in a field. By using the correlation formula proposed in the basic study, the measured motor current and boring speed were applied to predict SPT N-value and the predicted N-values were compared to SPT N-value of site exploration. From the comparisons it is verified that the exerted electrical energy to bore ground might be used to predict SPT N-value and pile tip location.

  • Noise and vibration due to pile driving cause residents nearby construction sites to file civil complaints and to the extent of bringing construction to a halt. To deal with this issue, construction engineers have worked strenuously to develop several types of low noise & low vibration pile methods. In this study, a new noise and vibration-free precast screw pile method proposed as a low noise & low vibration pile. It penetrates into the ground by rotating and pressing to avert noise and vibration while maximizing bearing capacity. A prototype of noise and vibration-free precast screw pile method was manufactured, which is not seen anywhere in Korea and elsewhere, and have undergone pilot tests twice to determine construction method. Based on this study, features of the noise & vibration-free screw pile method, production of screw concrete pile prototype, two pilot tests and subsequent construction method were determined.

A Study on Improvement of Bonding Shear Strength of Geogrid-Reinforced Asphalt Pavements (섬유보강 아스팔트 포장 부착 전단강도 개선방안 연구)

  • Test constructions were performed at 3 sites to investigate ways for maximizing performance of geogrid-reinforced asphalt pavements known to reduce reflection cracking and rutting. Problems during construction operation which can affect bonding shear strength of the geogrid-reinforced asphalt pavements were defined and the construction conditions were intentionally made during the test constructions. Both immediately and 1year after the test constructions, cores were obtained from positions with good and bad construction conditions and then bonding shear strength tests were performed to be compared each other. Rules to be kept at construction sites were suggested to improve performance of the geogrid-reinforced asphalt pavements.

  • The case of failure of Alkali-silica reaction (ASR) on the cement concrete pavement was reported in Korea. In the United States America, the fly ash has less than 10 percent Cao reported that prevent expansion by ASR. Most of all fly ash in Korea have less than 10 percent CaO, therefore it is similar ASTM F fly ash in the USA. Crushed aggregates of the test section had expansion behavior by potential ASR that the ASTM C 1260 test method tested expansion 0.17 percent during 14 days. The test section of concrete pavement used crushed aggregate was constructed that fly ash have 20 percent weight of cementitious materials to prevent expansion by ASR. This study was performed flexural strength test for elapsed days and durability by freeze-thaw test. It was shown that flexural strength was increased elapsed days and good performed freeze-thaw test. This study shown that fly ash concrete pavement was good performance in the test section.

  • In April 2019, this study was enacted as a test method for the performance of waterproof layers in an environment where complex deterioration and structural behavior are simultaneously applied, but some existing standards were implemented to point out the errors of the method that should be supplemented. Thus, in establishing standards for (tentative) adhesive waterproofing sheets, field workability and quantification of test results were studied on the structural behavior response performance test methods included as test items. In addition, the performance evaluation of adhesive-type composite waterproof sheets was conducted based on the considered contents to review improvements such as applicability as an item of standard standards and field workability related problems.
